  • The American Adventure Theme park was a big part of my childhood summers, it closed over 11 years ago. Footage filmed in 2018 .
Quick video made on a time limit, would have been happier if it was allowed to be longer and also had more time filming/editing
Vintage footage used via fair use (youtubers names stamped on the footage)v

Many thanks for your video boy was this a blast from the past many happy visits here including with ex family and yearly church trips so sad how it’s gone was missile and iron wolf that got me over fear of heights the 3D cinema was motion master same one as the first bean movie also I believe American adventure at time was first place in country to have motion master as was new tech back in the day that was one of my fave ride thanks again for the opportunity to reminisce

@@derelictCHEESEBURGER oh definitely in actual fact bought tears to my eye seeing motion master in the first mr bean movie and bought memories flooding back though that’s one thing I’ve not found any reference to
As opposed to all the info about things such as missile being relocated no info on where motion master relocated to my vague recollection was it was up a hilly path in or near the building that had those 3 American Indian faces in the walls also I vaguely remember the first film on opening was the rollercoaster ride same as in the mr bean movie

Derbyshire Explorers Thanks :) yeah it’s very sad what they’ve done to the park, I’m not bothered it’s not a theme park again like most (although loved the park, sadly it would not be viable to reopen) but it’s such a shame that they pulled all the trees down and destroyed the habitats! Was bursting with life each time visited :/ they should have left it as a bird sanctuary
