One of the best Log Flumes in the UK at the time, such a shame the park had to close.

I wished someone recorded a POV video of this. It looked awesome. Shame the park had to close. PS: I've never went to AA.
I did and I'm working on it right now.
When I was around 7-8 I was at the top of the last drop with my grandad and I can remember screaming "I want to get off!!" It still looks huge today, when i was that age it was like dropping into the abyss of the earth great memories.
I remember going on this in 98, it was pretty awesome
My mum lost her glasses on this and had to be driven home to fetch her second pair, just so she could drive us kids home. I've always wondered if they were ever found.
American Adventure had the best Log Flume! The second drop was scary but the third was awesome! I lived nearby so we used to sneak in for nought.
Yeah Nightmare Niagara was up there with the best flumes in its day. I remember riding it before it had the 3rd drop added too.
The log flume carts /boats are at golden valley camping in riddings as a log cart ride with wheels on them

Remember going on this before they put the extended third drop on, back when it was just called the Log Flume.
DarkAngel182 it was actually called Cheroke Falls when it opened with 2 drops.
Shame the rotating ice section wasn't working. I think it gave up one year and they never fixed it.
This was the best log flume i ever went on, loggers leap at Thorpe Park is good and since the demise of AA once again the biggest in the country but its not the same as this.............:(...........would hae loved a boat from the auction that took place
i was too scared to go on this because I hate heights, but loved the themeing and the whole park in general,
i remember going here when i was little and remember nightmare niagara, i thought there where 3 drops or 2? but we where going to go on it as the last ride of the day, but as me and my dad got to the que line ducking under the barriers as it was dead this time people where heading home, we got told the ride was clossed, so we where both dissapointed and headed towards the exit. I also rememberd the minatare railway underneath, that made it looked like the train passengers where going to get wet
I went on this when we got to the top i tried to get out n my brother n sister had to hold me down i was 7 lol
I remember my brother crying at the top of the lift hill for them to make it stop

I couldnt comment on that one as i have never tried it.....i can only comment on the ones i have been on and this was really very good
When I went it was closed for some reason, remember my parents driving up and a staff member told us that they had to close the park :( It was way before it closed for good so sadly never got on this stuff! What theming was in the tunnels? Or was it just black?
in the tunnels it was pirates and pirate bay theming inside, there were also steps next to the tunnels and people could walk up and go inside and taunt the log flum ridders lol
