My favorite Steven Seagal story was when an actor on "Marked for Death" had Seagal believe that he was actually Jamaican through the whole production & didn't reveal he was from New Jersey till after they finished 😂.
@lenindominguez1986 I'm talking about the time(during "Marked for Death" production) when Tom Wright trolled Steven Seagal into believing he(Tom Wright)was legit from Jamaica & that he didn't reveal that he was actually from New Jersey till they finally wrapped up production. Moral of the story is that Tom made Seagal look like an idiot in a hilarious way 😆
I remember when I was a teen going with my older cousin and friends to the theatres, we refused to see this film theatres because when knew the acting was going to be terrible, Morris Chestnut deserved better.
They need to roast Steven Segals “the patriot” the movie where tea is an antidote to a poison and he injects it into peoples veins, which btw that’s not how that works.
The only thing i remember from this movie, outside of Ja Rule getting launched out that car ( as well as him also getting thrown into an entire shelf by one of the prison guards) my favorite part of this film was when the chick head butted the holy hell out of the warden because he said something in spanish 😅😅

Soon Hollywood stop calling. And his career plummeted.

Of course I havent finished the video but I wanna make sure Billy's point is made. When you make a crazy character you dont tell the audience "Ohh look how crazy they are". Its like that far cry bit when Vaas tells you how crazy YOU ARE for playing the game and it sort of funny. A person telling you "Do you know what crazy is cause im crazy" just feels like theyre not that crazy.
YES! I'm so glad you covered this movie! My friends and I found out about it a while back and had a great time watching it. PLEASE do Exit Wounds at some point!

21:47 Alcatraz was a fishing transport for the Ohlone native tribes before European occupation. Native tribe descendents protested around the rock's shores. Eventually I think they won the protest claim and that's why the prison was shutdown. There might be more to the story. But I don't feel like pausing the video longer to look for it.😅
For second i thought i was hallucinating, but no, double toasted is roasting Steven Seagal. His acting had only gotten worse after Half Past Dead and it was his last theatrical released movie.
They tried to jump on the trend of rapper co starring with Martial art action star that Jet Li and DMX did with their films. Steven Seagal really asked WHERE IS JA?! Another thing iirc there was a trinidadian in this movie and he was one of the prisoners but was portrayed as a explicitly gay and I remember a bunch of my friends having a meltdown over that Also I didn't know Ivanova from Babylon 5 was in this and Kurupt
Wait until you've see his other movies where you see his obvious stunt doubles because he's too fat to fight, his vocals are dubbed sometimes, or he's mostly sitting in his chair fighting because hes too lazy to put in the effort, or he's playing a highly respected professor at Yale. IM NOT KIDDING! There are some scenes where they add a shadow on his body to make it look edgy, but in reality its cover the fact he's pudgy. Most of his films are straight to video and they are so cheap you can see the greenscreen.
Useless factoid, the head of the prison bureau at 26:30 is a cameo from the late Stephen J. Cannell, the guy who created Greatest American Hero, A-Team and 21 Jump Street.
25:36 I think that's kurupt dangling from the sealing which to me is a little weird seeing him here, including the fact that he's in half past dead 2 with Goldberg.

Like Korey quickly said after Billy stumbled to make a point...this movie is awful, ain't shit anyone could do to fix it 😂
This was when Ja Rule Peaked 50 was Blackballed at the time and he had multiple #1 hits but man did he Fumbled by not returning 2Fast 2Furious.
And also the Fyre Festival killed off his reputation for good (or whatever was left of it).
@lenindominguez1986 Which Trolls 2? The 1990 one sure didn't.
@lenindominguez1986 Oh definitely, and that bad movie roast DT did for Trolland was fun.
It makes me wonder if Ja Rule returned to fast furious would he be back in Ludacris role or would he get Tyrese's role in the following films?
YES! I'm so glad you covered this movie! My friends and I found out about it a while back and had a great time watching it. PLEASE do Exit Wounds at some point!
Everytime Korey says “right there, over there right here” I’m 💀💀💀
Remember back in the day when Steven Sigal could kick 😂
I was still a toddler the last Time Steven Seagal could move
I had to laugh because they not only played camera tricks with Morris Chestnut, they used Calling All Freaks for the music 😂! Quintessential 2000’s I’m a bad ass music lol
Double Toasted joining in on the seagal bullying? LET'S GO!!!
21:47 Alcatraz was a fishing transport for the Ohlone native tribes before European occupation. Native tribe descendents protested around the rock's shores. Eventually I think they won the protest claim and that's why the prison was shutdown. There might be more to the story. But I don't feel like pausing the video longer to look for it.😅
There were also those three guys who managed to escape the prison, that was a blow to their reputation.
4:40....😂😂😂😂😂
don't let the "tootles" go unnoticed!
They tried to redo the scene from a Rush Hour in the beginning when Chris Tucker is blown onto the window-shield… lmfao they copied everybody!! Smh
Ja rule was saying his lines like he was still in the audition room
When even the Expendables don't want to work with this guy, you know that's bad.
Lol, "F OUT MY PLANE!" 😂
YO I love this channel.
I started watching this a couple of months ago.
I swear you guys are funny when it comes to breaking down movies. Lol
Surprised it took them this long to do a Seagal movie.
53:15 😂😂😂😂 I’m dying here
For second i thought i was hallucinating, but no, double toasted is roasting Steven Seagal. His acting had only gotten worse after Half Past Dead and it was his last theatrical released movie.
They tried to jump on the trend of rapper co starring with Martial art action star that Jet Li and DMX did with their films. Steven Seagal really asked WHERE IS JA?!
Another thing iirc there was a trinidadian in this movie and he was one of the prisoners but was portrayed as a explicitly gay and I remember a bunch of my friends having a meltdown over that
Also I didn't know Ivanova from Babylon 5 was in this and Kurupt
And Goldmouth from Life
This review had me in stitches! I'm currently working from home and found it hard to concentrate at times 😂😂😂😂😂
Finally!!! Double Toasted does a Steven Seagal movie!!! Now, when are they going to review China Salesman (the one with Mike Tyson)?
After watching this roast, this movie just became one of my favorite movies ever 🤣🤣🤣
The weekly roast and toast intro anination is so relaxing brings me back watching tv in 2000
I just found out about the Steven Segall reggae song Strut. Steven Segall saying "punany" is one of the most funniest things I heard in my life 😅😅😅
24:50 the warden says “póngase tuya” meaning get yours. It was hard to understand the first few times tho then I realized haha
Half past dead is terrible movie, but its so F#$% funny 😂
Wait until you've see his other movies where you see his obvious stunt doubles because he's too fat to fight, his vocals are dubbed sometimes, or he's mostly sitting in his chair fighting because hes too lazy to put in the effort, or he's playing a highly respected professor at Yale. IM NOT KIDDING! There are some scenes where they add a shadow on his body to make it look edgy, but in reality its cover the fact he's pudgy. Most of his films are straight to video and they are so cheap you can see the greenscreen.
Steven Seagal as a professor from Yale? Who's the casting director who came up with that choice??
Seagal is the bad 🎁 that keeps on giving 😂
Useless factoid, the head of the prison bureau at 26:30 is a cameo from the late Stephen J. Cannell, the guy who created Greatest American Hero, A-Team and 21 Jump Street.
And Renegade with Lorenzo Lamas
I'd love to see you look at "Marci X" and "An Alan Smithee Film: Burn Hollywood Burn."
The Reggae album should've said "Steven Se-gayl".
25:36 I think that's kurupt dangling from the sealing which to me is a little weird seeing him here,
including the fact that he's in half past dead 2 with Goldberg.
This movie's existence is a fever dream within a simulation.
Security guard beats the hell out of Ja Rule and tosses him around.
Ja rule: "I know kids who beat harder than that."
Me: "You mean you always get beat up by kids and they toss around harder than that?. Who are they and why?."
😂😂😂😂
Whoever is behind the copyrights need to kindly piss off for getting these videos taken down
Seriously
