Thank you so much!!!!!! I've been trying to figure out how to count stitches in half double crochet and this video explains it so much better than anything I've read or seen 👍
I was having trouble keeping track of which stitches to add an increase into while making round coasters. My solution is to use a disappearing ink marker to mark the top of the stitches (the V’s) where I wanted an increase. It saves a lot of time because I no longer have to constantly count and don’t have to unravel my mistakes.
This is a great idea! Before I got stitch markers, my solution was to use a paperclip to mark the last stitch of the round or wherever I needed to increase. But disappearing ink never crossed my mind. Thanks so much for sharing this tip!
How do you count stitches on the side of a treble crochet piece. Example I have a pattern that says to miss 6 stitches then join on 7th stitch, but it is going down the side of my project and I don't see v's or pies, I see s's....
