Been playing homecoming with 2 friends for about a week now, it's a great experience, I'm loving it, makes me remember the time when I played Star wars galaxies, and this game being community driven with no microtransactions and stuff is so amazing that is almost sad with the current gaming market, great video keep it up and take care.
I used to play this with my step dad when i was very young and I want to play it again. I also tried to play a wow private server and had the internet shut down. Im not sure why, but I was hoping to avoid that if I downloaded the private server. Do you have any idea about that or anything that id have to do besides pressing download on the website?
Homecoming just got an official license from the developers of the original game. It's not a private server anymore, it is the official City of Heroes now
So, I played this game. I am convinced that this game was full of kids. It looks like crap, it played like crap, it really didn't have a lot to do. But damn was it fun being a hero/villain as a kiddo.

I've been playing on New Dawn for awhile now. The nostalgia is incredible. This game was my life for many years while it was live.

Homecoming has the NCSoft license for the game now after years of trying.

This game has hundreds of power combinations, one of the easiest teaming systems from any mmo, ever. Lot of things to do on it.
Ship of Heroes is meant to be a newer version of this game.
So many copies but none of them reach City of Heroes/Villains level
Promises were made but it never became viable.
