ok.
For people will become lovers of themselves (pride).
And this how you make people more racist can't this world getting more *******
Wot a load of crap
It would have recieved payment for this fluff
It's a london thing.
You can be who you want to be, you can identify how ever you want. But please please leave the kids alone. Let them just be kids and without indoctrinating them into a specific ideology!
The first part of your statement is what lead too and has facilitated the second part,
The simple fact is you cant identify or be who you want to be because reality is a thing,
I can want to be and identify as a 6 foot man but I'm genetically a 5,6 women
@@sarahwilliams6021 Totally agree
ew homophobe!
I'm sorry say this but the identy is construct since you are kid, and we need to teach the children to respect others
If I said white pride I would literally be arrested for a hate crime I love these double standards
yeah because the KKK is the official white pride club, you wanna join?

White folks practice white pride every second of the day

Im all for people celebrating their sexuality in a happy and genuine way. What I find unsettling is the need to seperate this into peoples colour and sexuality, especially when that same racial group have violently opposed racial discrimination, ie I am white I am black. Now we are forced to acknowledge black history day and black pride yet those people would be up in arms shouting racialism if white people had wite history day or white pride. It's full of racial hypocricy.
Pride is a terrible thing.
@Cian MacGana skin colour is about Vitamin D, aka Sunlight, and location of your ancestors, if your ancestors lived far north, where the sun don't shine, your skin will be pale, so as to absorb Vitamin D as easily as possible, in the brief gaps between grey wet cold clouds, it is why the British, for example, are stereotypically miserable and obsessed with the weather, because lack of Vitamin D causes Depression, if you work 9 to 5, mon to fri, 8 months of the year, you never see the sun, unless you force yourself outdoors for lunch even in in mid winter, i'm a pale senior, i take pride in getting darker, because i know my gi tract needs vitamin d, i love a tan, i love looking like i just got back from 3 weeks in benidorm, vitamin d stays on the skin over 24 hours, unless you wash it off with soap :) the sun really is a super star 🌞🧠

England used to have beautiful weather until the geo-engineering started. That's not what skin colour is about.
that's because all year is white history month and so is every school text, you don't really understand the concept of racial oppression do you? while we're at it, let's do straight pride month and add a holiday for each person who's never been trans, disabled or a veteran derp
Why does this look like a 12 year old's ADHD turned into a video? And why segregate yourself so much? If you're doing both race and sexuality, you're not making it easy for any other demographic to relate, so that when you deny them access to your exclusive club, many groups will have reason to hate you.
The reason Black Pride should exist is because LGBT+ POC often have very different experiences to others in the community. Within the UK at least this is often exacerbated by the fact that many young black LGBT+ people have parents or grandparents who immigrated from African countries (more than half of which have laws against homosexuality - although this is heavily connected to colonialism, but that’s a discussion for another day). This means that there is currently a large proportion of LGBT POC in the UK facing issues around their sexuality and/or gender identity, which white people may not have to deal with. This is shown in media in British TV shows such as It’s a Sin and Sex Education.
Black Pride means that people with these same experiences can come together and celebrate their unique identities without the same judgement that they could face elsewhere. I know that it can sometimes be difficult to see things from a different perspective, outside of a privileged bubble where homophobia seems nonexistent, but the reality is that, at least in my experience, it is a constant struggle. And I’m a white person living in London.
Also, they’re not excluding others from the event. You can clearly see from the footage that the crowd has a mix of people from all backgrounds, reflecting the UK as a whole. The website says that they are a celebration of ‘African, Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American and Caribbean-heritage LGBTQI+ people.’. White people are clearly welcome too, and I’m considering attending this year.
I tried to write this without generalising as it is a trap I often fall into. I’d also like to state again that I am white so if this is way off the mark then please correct me.
@@charlotteb4226 I agree with most of this, but we shouldn't segregate ourselves even more, we should be united in equality, why keep creating label exclusive clubs? I personally don't get it
It’s not for you , it’s a safe space made out of necessity
@@MIKOSAURUSREX exactly. It doesn't allow my kind in. It's an exclusive club to distance the rest of society and keep closer together.
Of course, it has to be said. Safe spaces are only good for one thing, and that's bringing in bad actors, wolves in sheep's clothing. These people isolate themselves from and become more distrustful of the non black-LGBT lot, and equally become more trusting of their own type. All it takes is one black to pretend to be gay or something to get in and prey on these people who have made themselves vulnerable.
Safe spaces are the worst invention for safety since the Anderson shelter.
@@charlotteb4226 I stopped when you put homophobic laws as a thought of colonisation.... nah just really ignorant people but sure....blame it on colonisation because on white people breed hate right??
What on earth is the right to be seen? I can almost smell thr entitlement.
And I can smell the privilege of someone who grew up wealthy, straight and white. Clearly you've never experienced the adversity of having to hide who you are, and don't care to educate yourself on the history of anyone who ever has #stayinschool

But I thought gay people wouldn't have children...
@@xinpingdonohoe3978 its a WhitePride joke
the whole b/w thing is a social construct, not biology, not science, we are all homo sapiens, all our DNA is the same, amongst the masses we are well mixed, large healthy gene pool, not so for the super super rich, their pool is tiny and inbreeding happens, whelp! as long as humans continue to live in far north and far south, where the sun don't shine as much, there will always be pale babies, and ofc, as long as we continue to live in sunny countries, there will always be darker babies, the people who claim to be concerned about THEIR DNA don't actually campaign for their DNA, their goal is just to hurt people, and maintain the status quo [science doesn't support hate based on skin colour or genitalia]

Everyone today is ethnic of somewhere.
Everyone of us wants same thing, an easy day, no drama.
I agree, sexis is similar oppression to racis, not based in facts, social construct, divide & conquer tactic, team blue have their empathy for team pink removed by grown ups in certain places.
Both oppressed groups were removed of any Elders to fight for their Rights as human beings.
I think society doesn't want us to discover self love, it prefers we are insecure :(
Is there something wrong with Pride, with all the LGBTQ inclusion, that people of colour feel excluded? That's really upsetting. I'm an older person and out of touch with contemporary sexual politics but I'm shocked by this deficiency.
Don't listen to it.
They're full of it.
Black or white or any other colour doesn't mean anything.
The only people who care about race are non white folk
It's pathetic.
Oh, and so they can further separate themselves from the rest of society.
@@warden1969 The point here is about inclusion not exclusion. Accepting and including diversity in society and not disenfranchising people.
@@andycordy5190 how ‘inclusive’ would you imagine black pride might be..??
More, or less, inclusive than the standard lgb(etc)/pride community?
@@warden1969 Why would you want to participate? Pride began as an expression of self. It's emphasis was on display and visibility. I felt excluded from much of that but glad that as a homosexual I could be seen and not feel threatened.
Within the diverse cultures around in multi-ethic communities there are many people who feel rejected by family and religion because they are LGBTQ+. Personally, I don't feel inclined to join their effort to liberate themselves from oppression, that is for themselves to achieve but I feel a kinship with them because I experienced discrimination and the threat of violence or arrest in what is now a much more tolerant community towards me, they are not so lucky.
