Exactly… anime. Wing Chung only works in anime or movies. That’s why we never see real martial arts fighters in mma or other competitive sports. It’s great for choreography but if you take it to the streets, best believe you’re going to get a beat down.

I met a grandmaster from the Philippines when I studied modern arnis I thought I was pretty good 😮 I was not he was 135# I was190 and he threw me like a rag doll

Practice the same thing 100 times a day for a year and see how fast you are at doing it. The sparring partner is moving how the master wants him to move so it's not hard for him to counter everything.

@@BH-85 I was a competitive olympic sabre fencer. I practiced three times a day totalling for 7 hours during the week days. On Saturdays and Sundays we had 6 to four hours of sparrings. I am coaching sabre fencing for 42 years, since 1981. We used this type of drills just as a gymnastic. Actually, I borrowed this from my fellow Wushu coach. It is a gymnastic drill, very well performed and has nothing to do with actual bouting. Yes, sparring partner moves the way as master wants him to move because otherwise this video wouldn't be possible. As for hundreds time for day - this makes me laugh. You are a real expert for sure. You need thousands of repetitions in order automate movements. Go talk to your grandmother, dude.

Often times, masters in their 50s and 60s ARE in their prime. Their bodies perhaps not as strong but their skills/ experience make up for it which means that they would beat their younger selves most likely, especially in sports with a force multiplier so they dont need the brute force of their roaring 20's.
This is why most swords masters are old but skillful but most wrestling masters dont make it after 40. Wrestling, although technical, is very reliant on power and mass. Sword fighting or anything with an equalizer does not require as much power.

I’m studying this and practicing everyday. You have to have strong forearms and wrists to handle that stick like he does. Not only is this guy fast but he’s strong as an ox. I really love when grabs the puño and quickly takes the stick. This is one guy you don’t want to fight.

And i do get you though, there are tens and thousand fake masters out there who teach nonsense tbh, and claim to be pro at this which in reality they are pure bs and don't have any knowledge whatsoever at how to fight in real life when opposed to true legit opponents and they just fool em students into believing that he's the real deal and that his teachings are legendary 😅 But upon watching this guy right here closely and well, I came to the conclusion that he's legit a true real master and pretty good at it, even better than all the rest that I've known and seen honestly..* 🤗😎
