    Hey Guys! Thanks so much for watching this video. I purposely didn't mention my thoughts on the price of this product because I wanted to actually just leave it up to you guys and ask you here in the comments what you thought about its price. Based on how well this product works does that make it worth the price? What do you guys think?
    *edit* I can not control what brands charge for their products so it doesn’t make much sense to insult me because they charge 32.00 for 4oz. Also I don’t see myself restricting movement in future videos, just gunna have to live with that 😉🤷‍♂️ #sorrynotsorry

      Hey mike, just wondering what kind of comb(s) you use. I have similar hair type to you and am looking for some options. Keep up the great work my man!

      Poker Face yeah I know what your saying I’ve testing hundreds of products now and every test I do involves dry, damp , blow dry and air dry so I know what your saying here but no not every product responds like this one did. Arcadians clay didn’t air dry into having more texture and more volume.

    • @MMTV
      @MMTV  6 лет назад

      Poker Face yeah I will write down those points but In all my reviews I always go through the washout and mention if a product came out with just water or if it needed a light cleanser or heavy cleanser.

    This is actually VERY easy to make. It's all about percentages. Once you get the right amount of ingredients, you can go crazy with fragrances. I was buying pomades for my son and I so much that I just decided to DIY it. Now I have a plethora of cosmetic ingredients. I make beard balm, mustache wax, clay pomades, skin balms, lotions, etc.

    The good:
    1. Image Quality
    2. Speaks clearly and good audio
    3. Lovely editing and backrounds.
    4. Well rounded and well written review
    The bad:
    1. Moves around too much.

      Catherine Doucet hey there! I do like clays but I don’t choose them over others I usually just take what comes my way and I haven’t had many pastes or styling creams get offered to me for review. I definitely will not pass them up if they get offered.

    Bro I have a question .. they claim that there og pomade is matte finish how’s that even possible because the there are only 2 ingredients both of them are oils and even in the clay pomade also only bentonite clay is the mattifier ..... are they hiding some of the ingredients ?

    • @MMTV
      @MMTV  6 лет назад +2

      Akash Sharma the ingredients are beeswax, bentonite clay coconut oil and lavender. Lavender is a scent. So the only real oil is coconut oil. They aren’t hiding any ingredients and matte finish doesn’t come from some secret matte finish ingredient. It comes from formulating it as such with the ratios between the wax, clay, and oils.

    • @AkashSharma-oq1sc
      @AkashSharma-oq1sc 6 лет назад +1

      Modern Man TV Thanks for clearing the doubt but bro what about the og pomade it is also matte , but there isn’t any clay in it. Just asking no hate.

    • @MMTV
      @MMTV  6 лет назад +1

      Akash Sharma I haven’t tried that but my guess is again it’s about the ratios between the waxes. Depending on the beeswax and the ratio between that and the oils it’s possible to have low shine or matte finish without clay.

    How does this compare to Arcadian clay? I really like the texture and finish of Arcadian, but would like a little more hold.

    • @MMTV
      @MMTV  6 лет назад

      Steven S doesn’t quite have the same feel to me as Arcadian, products aren’t usually comparable to others so it’s hard for me to judge it on that level but if you want more hold than I can tell this definitely has it

    • @pnw_md
      @pnw_md 6 лет назад +1

      LOL I just watched your review of Lockhart's Wax Clay and you said, "I swear I could be reviewing tomato soup and someone will still comment, how does this compare to Arcadian clay." I just ordered some Jack Henry. I'm hoping it gives the texture and finish of Arcadian and the hold of First Hand Supply.

      Just a F/U. This clay did everything I wanted. Love the hold and texture and how it's not greasy at all. On the days I don't wash my hair, just a little product the next day brings out the hold again. I would highly recommend giving this clay a try!

    32$ for 4 oz ??? Are they serious ????? Wtf !!! The same jar of all the brand , poor sticker label made at home ! no seriously, 19$ is the limit ! Don’t forget than this kind of product can used only for 10 days max with long hair . A month for short hair. Very very expensive !

    • @MMTV
      @MMTV  6 лет назад

      izac Albeniz why can it only be used for 10 days max? And I agree the price is high but your wrong about the label too it’s not a cheap homemade label haha

    • @MMTV
      @MMTV  6 лет назад

      izac Albeniz I reached out to another brewer by the way and found out that this product contains nothing that would mold, and therefore would have a normal shelf life of 1 year, possibly longer.

    • @jackhenry5977
      @jackhenry5977 6 лет назад +3

      Why would it only last 10 days? The Beeswax is a self preservative with a shelf life of at least a year. A 4oz jar will last you almost a year with moderate use and a 2oz will last around six months. It's definitely not a homemade label either. We put a lot of dedication into not only our product, but our packaging as well. Let us know if you have any questions!

    • @MMTV
      @MMTV  6 лет назад +1

      Young Gotti I don’t really like the smell of lavender either but I don’t really see anything wrong with using it really. There’s no rules on what’s a men’s product versus a women’s product. Men are using more and more stuff classified for women these days. And essential oils are really good for home made products actually haha.

      The oils being pure or certified by GreenJesus himself doesn't make them any less dangerous. Essential oils are a chemical compound like any other.
