    I just came on this lesson now. This is an interesting way of teaching the song. You've explained the elements and are asking people to develop their musician brains a little by llistening to the song to figure out how to put the pieces together. So not simply a paint by numbers approach. It's a simple song so even beginners like me should be able to do that with a little effort.

      Thank you for that feedback. I like to understand what I am playing and why I’m playing it.

    Excellent thank you. Putting the song into scale and tone is the way it should be done. That P sounds very P! What flats are you using?

    Nice PF-500! Mine just died and I haven't been able to find anyone locally who can fix it. :(

    Thanks Jeff, I really enjoyed learning this and I thought you explained it really well but when I was doing some playalongs I think they change key in the solo and I'm not sure whats going on there.

      The solo part has 8 bars of the verse progression (D - G - A - D) then it goes to the chorus progression (G - D - A - G). At least on the studio recording. They may do something different in live versions.

    I'm not sure you could make this simple bass part more confusing. How about just showing the names of the notes in sequence, written down, like DDAG prior to or even as you go into' I guess stories or explanations. Something concrete to go by. Something you could write down. There's little continuity, and the viewer is left with "what did he just say?" It is a nice bass, though.

    Hey I’m a bass player dude… what the heck is a note??? 😂

    • @Denvercoder
      @Denvercoder Год назад +1

      All joking aside, I usually learn the tabs and then once I can ACTUALLY play the song I “sing” the notes when I play.
      “C sharp C sharp, A sharp A sharp”
      Just as an example.
