    Been jogging in my Hurricane 24s for a month now and overall happy with it. I don’t find it too warm. The stability and cushioning are very effective and makes the jog rather enjoyable. I purchased the white/green shoes and they look great.

    I just had my first go at this shoe this morning. As u say, took out from the box, whack it in, and get the job done. Smooth and very stable. It just feels a wee heavy to lift the pace for me on the slopes. Very comfortable and feels like my feet are hugged with love. It is a hot sunny day at Kuala Lumpur today, but I am not feeling overly heated after my 10KM run.

    I've "tuned" my Tempus (wide) with PWRRN+ insoles from saucony and it's a pleasure run in them. If i could only take one pair of running shoes with me (e.g. vacation), it definitely would be the Tempus. A perfect allround 👟👟

    • @Trwoodward
      @Trwoodward 3 месяца назад

      I did exactly this with the wide, made a great cushioned stability long run shoe

    • @jenniferring6410
      @jenniferring6410 2 месяца назад

      Where would one get these insoles? And I'm assuming they aren't only for wide feet. This may be the perfect solution!

      Please tell me how you did that. I would love to try it. Did you have to buy a bigger shoe size or is it a straight swap with the one it comes with? Thanks

    • @kostjan1986
      @kostjan1986 11 дней назад +1

      @@dtranger it's a straight swap. Simply buy the Saucony Powerrun+ insoles and replace the original ones.

    I have run in Saucony for the past 3000km. My previous shoe was the Swift 3, which started to fall about after 1000km.
    I have 250km in my Hurricane 24s from 10km upto 21km, I don't find it slow (I am not a fast runner). In the heat it did feel tight - in the wet it felt heavy (on tired legs).
    It did let a post tib issue I had heal nicely though, so even though the stability doesn't feel obvious it is there and helped.
    Recently I have had an issue with getting a black big toe. I ran a HM without issue, but on a hilly 15km my toe was hitting the hard side wall and bruised it on a downhill section. I am now using Speed 4s for everything until it heals.
    Maybe on this one I'd suggest a wider or half size up for wide feet.
    I do wish the toe box had more room, most shoes are cramped there in the past couple of years.
    I am not thinking, maybe I should have gone for the tempus instead as this seems more close to the Swift 3 (which I really liked)

    Interesting review that. I’m looking to get the Tempus 2’s when they come out eventually, but I might be tempted with the Hurricane as it sounds similar to the Tempus. The Tempus shoes I have currently have been great, but are nearly on 600 miles now.

    • @botrytis_cinerea

      Why not to pick up a new pair of Tempus which is heavily discounted right now? I bought mine in Vizigold for under £90. I don't really need stability shoe but the Tempus is for everyone and it helps me a lot for marathon training. It's a fantastic shoe.

  • @richardharvey4216

    This shoe is a beast. Super cushioned and super stable. Very chunky. I would say Saucony’s answer to the Hoka Bondi 8. Already had a few people looking for the Bondi pick up the Hurricane after wearing both. IMO the best shoe out there for our Clydesdale (heavier) runners. Will not bottom out. It’s no Endorphin PB but excellent shoe.

    Hi Chris. Congrats for the preview How is the arch?? Is it too high or normal?? I am torn between these or the NB Balos when I eventually replace my NB More V4 in a few months. I am a slow runner so Iam looking for a max cushioned, but stable trainer to do it all, fron long runs, tempo runs and even race days.

    Thank you, sir for all of your hard work. I trust your reviews. I wanted to see if you had any thoughts on this shoe for a bigger runner (225 lbs/102kg). I have been using the Tempus exclusively since their introduction for everything from 5ks up to half marathons without any issues. I bought a new pair of Guide 17's. I only have about 15 miles in those, but I am enjoying them so far. I am sure you are busy, and I hate to bother. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you!

    Does anybody else have heel slippage in just about any saicony shoe? Tried the guide, the triumph and now the hurricane and all slip horribly on my right foot. It doesn’t happen with any other brand for me. Tried the heel lock with the triumph, and it just make it more painful. Will try it with the hurricane as otherwise they’re a pleasure to wear.

    Fordy, I have a question. With the lower drop, is it like Hoka ? I need a new stability shoe after plantar fasciitis surgery. But the low drop of the Hoka makes me feel as if I’m leaning so far back and kills my heel. I see where the Saucony has a lower drop. Just wondering if it feels more level. I have no stores near me that I can try them. So I would appreciate any advice.
