Honestly, the naming gimmick might be my fav part of this series. So, she somewhat may care? About us? Or she's just cuirious as to why it's important. Or she wants to destroy it in front of us. I could see fake doing all these things. This Jester is a better person than me. I would've cut the "banter" and just gotten comfy. No use hating her forever.
I love when villains are also genuinely good bosses also that laugh at the end made me smile I’m not sure I thought it was cute or funny but it made me smile
I can now see listener trying to make some sort of deal where they have their bow back if they end up helping train the archers and maybe the evil sources as you need a good teacher for any projectile weapon as you have to know how far the target is what angle to fire at how much power you need and a bunch of other stuff so that could be seen as important. Now I can see that the bow is either a family heirloom or has some sort of power. Probably just costed a lot or something like that.

Perhaps the bow belonged to one of the listener’s family members that was killed by the sorceress’s minions
