I've come across a few variations of this general concept in RP videos...this one feels a bit more natural, and less...contrived, somehow. Not quite so much of the "I'm the rugged but sensitive survivor type" feel and more of a "fairly regular person who has been through some shit and is still trying their best" feel. I like it. This could be a very good team up. She has medical knowledge as do I (I've studied nursing in college and uni) so we can patch each other up. She also has at least one gun whereas I have a collection of historical weapons (lots of melee weapons plus a Balearic sling) which I would use in this situation. As such she's got the long range while I have the short range, covering the downsides of each other's weaponry. Yeah, in practical terms, I think this would work quite well.

I'm already on two cliffhangers with Spellbound and Crew of Two, and I just recently started Perilune. Is it really a good idea for me to get invested in a fourth series? Probably not. Am I going to anyway? Definitely.
