Nice one Mike...The vids are always interesting and with a gentle humour too. You give out alot of facts and instructions without making it tedious....Hard to do that One last thing Mike..Where is your accent from?
Smashing vid and great sailing. Dunno about Caribbean sailing, but it most definitely resembles Greece sailing. My wife promptly falls asleep as soon as the donkey goes off. She says the sound of the water lapping the hull just sends her to sleep. Never sailed in local waters (U.K.) maybe I should try it one day.
Hi Tony you stick to the med, that really was a rare day for me. Always seem to get good British weather and seas to go with. Wish I could get to the med for a season. Regards mike
First I thought reading a book is better than sleeping pills. Than I discovered snooker tournaments. Now I'm listening to you, dreaming about my future voyages and falling asleep:-) great videos, very calming (except one about 40kt wind😂)
@@sailingcosiloveit 😂 good one. But there was no irony, i do like your videos very much. And it looks like your waters don't seem very different from southern Baltic. We just don't have many marinas and tides are miniscule. And we don't have pubs with pints. Proper pubs.
You need to come over and have a sail here! The tides will have you up the wall. Bristol Channel goes up and down 14 meters twice a day and runs faster than you can sail. Best regards mike
Hi mick been following you in dugarvin Harbour, its Barry marks mate from Liverpool. Just wanted to no no if you where going to visit Cork, always been interested in titanic that's place before she sank, very interesting Harbour, hopefully you visit, thanks mick, hope to have bevei with ya in the spoons in caernarfon, good luck catch ya l8ter
Hi Barry will look forward to that pint. Was in Cork today. Spent far to much time in shops, never knew about Titanic sorry but of a let down. We ain’t going to sail round to cork from here. It’s only a few miles from here but we prefer to be well away from the cities. See you soon mike
Hay,no worries mick, just thought you mite of had a bit of a interested in the subject, but no worries, you enjoy ya jolly Holly's, fascinating to watch, brilliant dead funny. Keep it up. First time I've heard Lisa singing. Brill. She ya soon.
Dunmore east or Duncannon further up the river Suir (Waterford estuary) are great anchorage choices when you are coming back. Fethard on sea also handy to have in your back pocket
@@sailingcosiloveit we haven't been in Cobh yet only Crookhaven where the royal Cork yacht club is (the oldest yc) & John did his naval reserve training. Salty lass has been in Cork extensively recently so ask them. They moved to Kinsale yesterday.
I’m sure anyone could get in here. Hi water has plenty of water on the wall. Two ladders as well. Dry against the wall in muddy sand or possibly stay afloat on neaps. Will look at my minimum depth when departing. Mike
@@sailingcosiloveit I drove through Dungarvan a few summers ago on bus at low tide coming home from Kinsale ( having left Wavedancer there ). It was scary low. Happy with Helvic as a stop over. Yvonne
One of those rare special days at sea.
I shall need to check out Dungarvan when I finally get back in the water!
Sandy

Agreed that’s great to know. What about in Cobh? We looked at Drakes pool but have been told it is too busy to anchor now ☹️

I’m interested in seeing your opinions on Dungarvan as we can’t get in with our draft. We anchor at Helvic instead
