- നല്ല ഓർമ്മകൾ എപ്പോഴും മധുരമുളവാക്കുന്നവയാണ്. പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും കുട്ടിക്കാല ഓർമ്മകൾ. പഴയ തറവാടുകളിൽ തങ്ങി നിൽക്കുന്ന ആ മാധുര്യമൊക്കെ ഇന്ന് മാഞ്ഞ് തുടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അവ വീണ്ടും പൊടി തട്ടിയെടുക്കേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇല്ലത്തിന്റെ ഇടനാഴിയിലൂടെ നടന്ന് നീങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ഒരിക്കലും നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്താൻ ആഗ്രഹമില്ലാത്ത പല ഓർമ്മകളും മനസ്സിലൂടെ മിന്നി മായുകയാണ്. നമ്മുടെ സംസ്കാരവും പൈതൃകവും പുതു തലമുറയ്ക്ക് കൂടി പകർന്ന് നൽകേണ്ടതല്ലേ ..... വരു നമുക്ക് ഒരുമിച്ച് പ്രയത്നിക്കാം.

I strongly believe that the treasure of childhood memories are hidden somewhere in this old ancestral house. I want to find all those and bring to present…A day at illam with family gives a pleasant and calm experience which is soothing my mind and body. When I walked through the corridor of my “tharavadu”, lots of happiness and past memories flashed through my mind which I never want to loose again.. those memories are really stored in my heart for filling more colors in my future life…

ഈ പുരാതന സംവിധാനങ്ങൾ കാണാൻ രസമുണ്ട്. Nostalgic. എങ്കിലും ജോലികളുടെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് കുറയ്ക്കാൻ മിക്സി, ഗ്രൈൻഡർ, ഇലക്ട്രിക് തേപ്പുപെട്ടി - ഇതൊന്നും വാങ്ങി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിൽ ഒരു മോശവും ഇല്ല. ലോകം മുന്നോട്ടു പോകുമ്പോൾ ഒപ്പം മുന്നോട്ടു നടക്കണം.

Nostalgic .. most of the visuals are familiar to me, the old traditional lifestyles are easy to watch but it is very tough to follow.. my mom she use to force me to do some of the traditions.. but I was really reluctant to do that ..but their china wares are beautiful.. in an illam we cannot expect such kind of vessels.. yes that means they are also evolving.. keep it up 👍
