Just brought mine home 2 days ago. 402A pkg. in white. One thing I noticed right away is that there are no rear wheel liners in the rear and in white, everything is noticeable underneath and looks unprotected, almost like they didn't complete the build on the assembly line. I found out the rear liners are an option which doesn't make much sense to me when they will protect your $75K investment underneath from rock, dirt, salt damage. Other than that and less than 200 miles on it, I love it and everything about it. Good review as well.
Appreciate it! Congrats on the new truck! We actually felt the same way about the rear fender wells! we spray painted them black and looks wayy better. Glad your digging it and thanks for watching! We are about to do the first oil change in ours!😎🤘🏼
I bought the 2021 ranger tremor xlt package and it's the best midsize truck I've ever had that's the truth , I'm sure you will be happy with your tremor and your truck is beautiful 👍
I got a 402A and feel the utility package was well worth it just for the up tailgate feature. I installed a Bedrug in mine, so the tailgate is covered. I found the truck sits too high to use the step, so installed an Air Design tailgate spoiler on it.
Just got a 23 SXT 5.0. I added some stuff definitely wanna swap out the halogen headlights I feel like LED should be standard but I guess everything’s gotta be a package.
Every dealership has to accept A plan if u have the code from the individual plan member if im not mistaken. It excludes special models like the raptor but works for tremor unless they have changed it.
I had the Agate Black Metallic on my 2019 F-250 XLT Premium trim level Super Duty. I DID like it. With the sunlight hitting it, it had gold metallic flake in it. Problem was, as with most black vehicles, if you like to keep them nice and clean and fluffed and buffed all the time, like me, black was hard to keep clean. Plus, any imperfections or even minor scratches and marks of any kind do show up on the black. I traded that truck in on my 2020 F-350 Lariat 7.3L Godzilla Super Duty I have now. THIS truck is the Blue Jeans Metallic which is also a beautiful color, especially when sunlight or streetlights hit it. It is very similar to the Antimatter Blue Metallic, but I think the Antimatter is a bit more blue-ish. Which I do like. I also do like this new 2023 F-150 Tremor. Especially in the Antimatter Blue Metallic. And so now, I'm actually keeping my eyes open for the new 2023 F-150 Tremor, in Antimatter Blue Metallic. I have owned 4 Ford Super Duty pickup trucks, all bought brand new, and this would be my FIRST time stepping DOWN to the F-150 1/2 ton truck. Although I would be looking for the 402A high package.
Supercharged v8 would be sickk. Its all personal preference really. I like supercharged u have instantaneous power, less heat and less moving components. Sounds way cooler(personally) and you can still get plenty of crazy power. Only thing the ecoboost would be better at in my opinion is fuel economy. A v8 supercharged is probably not to friendly on drinking gas lol. From a reliability stand point its gonna depend on how much power u push.
Yes it does. I have only noticed it do it once or twice in the 5k miles we have had the truck. Tht being said will more than likely come on more frequently depending on ur driving style. We were worried about this being annoying when we first got it but I guess with how we drive it doesnt have a tendency to turn on. We typically are always driving in tow haul or sport mode so tht could also probably factor in to why we notice it come on. There are ways to prevent deactivation but never became frequent enough for us to bother tampering with. Hope this helps!
New for 2023 they introduce the option for the V8 motor on the tremor. We got it for roughly 10% off of msrp before tax because of A plan. A plan is a deal worked out with employees of ford that allows family members of a ford employee to utilize their discount. If you know anyone thats worked at ford you might be able to get some type of plan discount that gets you a set percentage off Most fords(excludes some special models like the raptor). Those plans work for all ford locations as far as I’m aware. If not I still think they would budge some on price but im not sure might have to shop around. Hope this helps!
i used to use the two bottom buttons trick on my 2014. i guess they were two last horizontally not bottom but wtv. my current truck is a ram warlock and i cant wait to get back into a ford
For my budget the 401 would be fine. I’ve had both 5.0 and multiple 3.5 ecoboosts in newer F150 and now running a 2023 Power boost and I didn’t want to believe the eco co outdo the coyote but the 3.5 will absolutely destroy the 5.0 V8
I have only noticed it do the cylinder deactivate once. It was on the highway and it was just ever so slightly noticeable. That being said we have over a 1000miles on it so far(90% of which is without hauling a trailer). Its not annoying like i thought it would be and really only noticed it do it once. Hope this helps!
you got the best color! nice. rear step & LED box lights are awesome. Torsen front diff is a great option. agree tape measure & clamp poins are worth zero, C'mon Ford no memory seats? throw us a bone man on a truck like this! we keep buying them tho cause they are awesome.
Have a 2023 F150 Tremor with level kit 2.5 spacer (Ford dealer installed). Its making a popping sound when making full turns or u-turns. Anybody have same issue?
The suspension of the tremor is much better feels like your hovering above the ground but the transmission isnt near as smooth as the 6speed. Its jumpy and overall the tremor doesnt tow as well as our 2013 fx4 does on lighter loads. Tremor is a awesome truck but wouldnt say it blows the older truck out of the water. Hope this helps and let me know if yah got any other questions! Thanks for watching! 😎🤘🏼
That's a beautiful truck! And great, useful review. Thanks. As for myself, I'm going round and round about whether to get the 2025 Platinum Plus or Tremor, and whichever I get having it levelled/lifted 2.5 to 3.5"s and larger 35 tires with a bit of a poke, and higher end suspension components swapped in, or just getting the Raptor outright. I'm leaning towards the Platinum Plus with the Powerboost, but someone said the Tremor might come with the Powerboost as an option in 2025, and if that is true I will seriously consider that instead. I don't go off road anywhere near as much as I'm on the highway, but that torsion front differential and the skid plates of the Tremor sure would be nice to have. I'd love to get the luxury comfort on the inside but have better capability on and off road on the outside, my go anywhere, any time, any kind of weather luxury vehicle. One thing. Love that fitted rubber appearing bed matt, grippy and attractive, was that from the factory by Ford or after market? I am trying to decide if I should get the regular tailgate with the pull out step like you have here, or the new partially side opening tailgate they will be offering, which though it can still open down flat fully too, does lose the pull out step. I like the idea of adding a larger cold air intake, and the 402a package is more likely the route I'd go. The lake, the beach, or in my case as well, the ski mountain or a trailhead. If you have any thoughts to share about the above feel free.
I have the pull out step, would never get it again if you use your truck to haul sand, gravel etc for your yard. Gets all trapped in the opening and my top of the tailgate is now deformed on the plastic top because of this. Bad design. Also the yellow button on the pull out step bar has broken so the bar doesn't stay up in the 2 stages. Mine is a late 2021.
years ago I had a Ford Thunderbird with the access buttons on the outside. I used to lock my keys in the glove box all the time. Then one day it wouldn’t open… The battery was dead. Luckily, I was at a grocery store and just called AAA, but has anybody thought about this? I wouldn’t want to be stranded at a lake. P S. We are getting our new Tremor today! ❤

If you’re going to tow the 3.5 is way better. Has much more torque. The v8 is more of a mustang motor. When towing the v8 has to go way up in the power band to tow and it’s super noisy. The 3.5 doesn’t even work at all to pull a 9000 lb trailer
True for heavy loads ecoboost torque will help. All our toys are light so not much of a concern for us and we love the 5.0 motor. Its simple and sounds really good. Had a 22 402A , now have a 23 402A. Really love these trucks. I feel it’s a great perfect fit FOR ME ! I love hitting trails here in northern Wi. I had an 18 and 20 high package Raptor. Awesome trucks if I lived out west I buy another one.
I have the 402a option package, and I think it is way overpriced for the amount of extras you get ! But then again, all trucks are way overpriced for what you get !
Couldnt agree more, its crazy the difference of what this truck cost compared to our 2013 fx4. Our 2013 f150 is really nice so the new truck doesnt seem like a big step up for the cost. Still love it but definitely worth noting! Thanks for watching!
@Floatsorrolls1 , ford is using cheaper materials, and charging more for less. My 2014 limited was 67k to buy, they're 50k more to buy now and are made out of cheap aluminium. They are no longer good Trucks. I've bought my last ford !
I got the A1A package and I roll through beachfront ave. Girls were hot wearing less than bikinis Rockman lovers driving Lamborghinis Jealous, 'cause I'm out getting mine
Its funny you say tht im gonna make a video talking bout how expensive it is compared to the 2013 we bought new that in several ways is nicer. Tht being said all new trucks are crazy expensive. Its amazing tht in 10years comparable truck in options nearly doubled in price. I still think tremor is a good option cost wise when specking out a new f150. A plan does definitely make it more justifiable lol. Building a basic f150 with some necessary option on it ended up being about same price for less truck. I agree though new trucks now are overpriced compared to previous gens. Thanks for watching!
Horrible review. You spend way too much time rambling on about the bed of the truck and how much you dislike the tailgate cover - who cares!? I’m sure there’s many more features on the truck to talk about when making a comparison to a 402A package.
Plenty other reviews out there saying all same stuff in terms of features wanted to mention others. Its our truck and sharing our thoughts. A work surface should be functional lol. Not everyone uses these things for status. If so cool if not that stuff is useful. Have a good day😂✌🏼
And Ram dealers are trying to sell their trucks with 20-30k dealer markups. Literally stopped at two local ram dealers by me this week and not a single truck on their lot was selling for less than 15k over MSRP other than their base models with the v6. Those we’re about 3-5k over MSRP. Cheapest V8 truck I found was 68k…. I’ll pass.
What Ford won’t tell you is they are the ugliest looking excuse for a truck you’ll ever see. They may have the best power train. The best interior etc etc. but g..da.. they are such but ugly boxy looking sad things
Well I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Thing is I think the vast majority of people would completely disagree with your comment, myself included. I'm looking at trading my trail boss in for one.
You’re crazy, the new ford is definitely the best looking truck on the road. The Chevys are way more boxy and have a weird profile. Ram’s just look like a giant car with very little road clearance. Most people love the aggressive look of the F150s
😂. I could guess your your into Chevys and they are absolute monstrosities of a truck inside and out plus the power trains are garbage and I grew up on Chevys but they are not the same or at least built on the former and have gotten better!
Its part of fords “chip shortage” they removed the stop start which is cool. However they also remove heated steering wheeel which is a bummer. This is on all tremors. Thanks for watching!

@@Floatsorrolls1 telling you where Iive what the cost difference is. Online and at our dealership. It's that simple.
Love the 401A gauge cluster better. The 402A digital cluster is boring for what it could have been. Love the 402A options, overall and the Tremor is an awesome F150
Only way to go is the 5.0💪🏼
S&B CAI and a borla atak catback and you are set 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Lower power high rpm though
i like those gauges and prefer them i hate those stupid screens and computers on all the new cars
Lol my dad said the same thing! Super glad we went with the 401a less tech to glitch down the road. Still got the flat screen tv in the center console but atleast its easy to use lol.
Voice cracked when talking about the headlights lol
Ay it happens 😂😂
Would love to get one but Ford quality is not job one apparently. Too many recalls
Why the sun glasses ???
Getting more comfortable in front of a camera💀 lol
Hey, look, it's another Tremor with the running boards on backward.
getting dizzy trying to watch this
🤑🤔🤑🤔🤑😀😍🙂love it!!!!!!!!!!
Toss a supercharger on the tremor. For real Gaines.
That would be pretty killer! Been trying to talk dad into it lol
That it's affordable?.....🤷♂️
Ford also doesn’t tell you that if you get the high package tremor it’s books like shit
I got the A1A package and I roll through beachfront ave. Girls were hot wearing less than bikinis
Rockman lovers driving Lamborghinis
Jealous, 'cause I'm out getting mine
Who is going to take a 80k truck offloading?
Ford should offer a complete product for the price!
That Parkinson's camera work is making me a little motion sick.
Eco boost motor is shit!! Just had timing chain break on my 2017 at 110k
You should hone your video skills. To much shaking and moving around.
Take your glasses off indoors.
Dude hold the camera still when talking. I got sea sick
Hahah my bad sailor. Captain had to much to drink 😂 ill work on tht
Slow down your camera movement. Too jerky.
Definitely trying to improve! forgot this camera doesnt have stabilization like a gopro
You've gotta hold the camera STILL bro!! Come on!!!
What Ford Doesn't Tell You about F150 Tremor? It's completely overpriced and unless you have the A-plan, you're a sucker for buying it....
Have a good day😂✌🏼
ram rides better and better interior
And Ram dealers are trying to sell their trucks with 20-30k dealer markups. Literally stopped at two local ram dealers by me this week and not a single truck on their lot was selling for less than 15k over MSRP other than their base models with the v6. Those we’re about 3-5k over MSRP. Cheapest V8 truck I found was 68k…. I’ll pass.
Ram ticks
RAM truck was way better than Ford, and rides so nice! I was super impressed with RAM
@@onthethrottle7104 again ram ticks Ford doesn’t
And so overpriced that’s ridiculous!!
No way from me plus I couldn’t afford Rams ridiculous prices no matter how much “nicer” they seem to be !
What Ford won’t tell you is they are the ugliest looking excuse for a truck you’ll ever see. They may have the best power train. The best interior etc etc. but g..da.. they are such but ugly boxy looking sad things
Lol interesting i think its one of the best looking new trucks out.
How do you remove start stop on your options? I dont see it when you build one online
Its part of fords “chip shortage” they removed the stop start which is cool. However they also remove heated steering wheeel which is a bummer. This is on all tremors. Thanks for watching!
It’s a $50 credit I have the start stop delete
Did they also remove the cylinder deactivation?
Hope so cause I would be looking to the moon and back to remove that !
