I had the 5.0 in my 2018 and it was great. Sounded nice, got great fuel economy in town and on the highway. But my 2022 Tremor has the 3.5 EB and it completely destroys the 5.0, it's not even close. The 5.0 makes most of it's power higher in the RPM range while the EB makes so much torque down at very low revs that it just rockets off the line with a small press of the accelerator. It's almost like a fast diesel and it's great offroad because of the torque not to mention almost no loss of power at elevation due to the turbos. Towing is a breeze too. Can't feel the boat back there at all.

Looking at one of these with the 3.5 6. I can't overlook the nearly 100 more tq with the 6. I love my NA 600hp LS3 C6, but it's loud and I'm keeping it, my bike is also kind of loud and I just want a quiet vehicle that will do everything this does specifically. I'm personally glad it doesn't sound like the Ranger Raptor or big Raptor, they sound like trash. Going to see where I can get the biggest discount though, not opposed to hunting used 24+ models either. Absolutely nuts that mid-sized trucks are $56k+. At this point, with a healthy discount, I can get a full sized tremor while people are drooling over $65k Toyota mid-sized trucks.
When I was a kid, everything was NA power. It was boring. The craze was forced induction, usually big turbos or supers. The grails were twin turbo builds, they just produced insane power and sounded cool with the blow off valves. So forced induction is cool imo. If the Coyote was a supercharged 8.... I'd buy it in a heart beat. How shallow is that? Lol.

Pushes an extra 6-7 PSI boost over factory default of 17 psi. (Pushes 23/24 psi in full sport tune mode). I drove both back to back. Unless you plan on putting a supercharger and purposely want worse gas mileage there is no point to the 5.0L. There is a reason the engineers put the 3.5L EB in the Raptor and not the 5.0L. 90 extra ft lbs of torque at low RPM and I get as high as 22 mpg freeway. No V8 will see those numbers. Some people are just brain washed that a V8 is better and the exhaust sound is worth worse gas mileage. It’s your choice and payment buy what you want. I’m not anti v8 or pro V6. I just like what is truly better all around. I am beyond happy with the stock performance of the 3.5 EB and if I want more hp Whipple makes a intercooler, tune and intake for the 3.5 EB that is smog legal, will add 50hp and 80 TQ. FYI, a tremor has the same 0-60 and 1/4 mile time stock to stock as the Raptor.

The 5.0 is a terrible tow engine. It’s a great Mustang motor. High revving low torque motor. It has to work at 5-6,000 rpm to tow a 7000 lbs trailer. It has 400 ft torque. The 3.5 has 500 ft lbs torque. It tows 11,000 lbs at 3000 rpm. The 5.0 will not last that long if it has to tow. I tow 8000 in my tremor and you can’t hear the motor. About 2300 rpm at speed.
If you want to just sound better and you’re not towing then the 5.0 is fine

You need to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord, your God, and your Personal Savior. He died on the cross to offer you the free gift of salvation and (with that choice) eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven. The only sin that can not be forgiven is to continually rebuke Him, if you do that, your eternal life will be spent in Hell. Why do I say all of these things? The Lord requires all those who are Born Again to go out and teach and preach the good news to the world. You can sarcastically reply or try to offend me with other comments but you are only going to hurt yourself. I truly pray you make the right decision, your eternal life depends on it. God Bless you brother.

Grocery getter Truck, all the manufacturers are doing it! Yes, but v6s don't belong in a real truck.

Plastics, aluminum, oily turbos, thousands of wires, electronic transmission, all to satisfy the man made global warming hoaxers. I have the 2017 raptor with ecoboost 3.5. Low mileage, still changing my oil as much as possible. Fearing the day my cams go bad

I wouldn't buy a Ford period. Last one I had was an ecoboost black widow edition. It was so beautiful 😍. But it was the worst truck I've ever owned. Bad computer. 2k. Bad fuel pump 750. Bad injector 900. Then the motor went out 12k. Lost all oil pressure. Please people don't buy ford's. You will regret it. They will fail when you need it most. I now drive a 2021 tundra I love it. And I know it's never ever going to fail me like the ford did.
