- This is a video about our Trip (September 2016) on the Nanika - Kidprice Canoe Route / 4 lakes with portage.
Lamprey Lake - Anzac Lake -Stepp Lake - Kidprice Lake
We spent 2 nights at Lamprey Lake (arrival and departure day), 1 night on the island of Anzac Lake, 1 night at the first camp of Kidprice Lake, and 1 night on the tiny island of Stepp Lake.
Amazing place, really remote, just nature and wildlife around you. We just met a group of 4 people once.
We saw a lynx, a moose, a bear, a lot of birds; we caught a few Rainbow Trouts (good spot at the entrance of Anzac Lake). Portage was nice and never too long (max 2.2 km). Campsites were perfect. There was firewood to pick up on some point.
We felt alone in the middle of Canada's wilderness, we definitely recommend that place for nature lover!

Did this a couple years ago, was amazing. Spent around 4 days out there, had to do multiple trips on all the Portages. Tiring, but worth it and beautiful.
This place is priceless! Happy to hear you enjoyed it - tiring as you say - but so worth it. Would love to be back there. Good to watch this video from time to time - it brings us back directly!
Beautiful! Thanks for posting! Hope to go next year (2020) with the family
