Hi Jason. Happy Hunting M8 from across the pond. It's nice to see & I'm very Happy, since we have both male & female Detectorist's Worldwide, that both can enjoy MINELAB'S new Manticore M9 DOUBLE "D" & 9 inch Coil.😁👍
Gary's Metal Detecting 3 days ago I experimented & modified the M11 Coil on the Manticore. I love the weight reduction and it goes through the water with less drag. Proceed at Your own risk doing this modification. Also I see there is a M9 coil coming out that looks very similar to my modified one. Go see it on My community page.
ive not used mine here in the water yet but i can say the m9 picked a lost base plate of a engagement ring (ie the bit that holds the cluster of diamonds) manti was on 10 ish gain , high trash , 8 recovery . target rang a solid 9 , 1" down and to 15 cm above . the plate is 18k wafer thin. sensitivity is not a issue . i smacked a few things to test bump noise, nothing to report there. for me this coil will be my go to if hunting in shallow sand areas for fine chains or small items. i will be doing the math on speed vs coverage vs input effort. anyone who struggles with fatigue or injury this will be a good balance
@beachy73 very lucky 😲 twice I applied for a Detexpert position, but nit heard anything. maybe I just find enough great stuff 🤔🤣 so now I regard myself as the UKs only official NON Detexpert lol
dont think they do. the closest the nox range has is the coiltek 10x5 which I sometimes use on areas that have a bit of trash. they are a good coil to use 👍
