I like the roll off equipment haul thing you got going on. I run a rollback tow truck but now you got me thinking I could get a roll off truck as a budget-heavy flat deck tow truck.
You should have enlisted Andrew's help with the excavator and a chainsaw, or his skid steer with the grapple bucket to clean up and organize all that wood. Love that track loader, it's got great power for its size. Great video Dave, keep them coming!
Superb Dave, it takes time to get used to a new machine and using it efficiently. But that was good playtime pushing trees over....lol. Your dog gave you that look....your track loader - you use it.....not me. I dont have opposable thumbs....
Trackloader is kinda small for that big of a job, overheating is a sign of that! And the trees are kinda big, need a D-6 or D-8 dozer for that job Dave! Thanks for sharing brother!
Be careful with the root ball when they start over, i was pushing a big red oak over and had the root ball roll up under my left track and almost turned my loader over. Luckily i found reverse in time to back off and the root ball caught the lift arms dragging the loader with it all way to the ground, that was my learning experience so when the tree starts going and stop i back up get to the side of it an and roll the bucket under the roots to roll it out the ground. Roots like to pop up from nowhere and poke a nice hole in the radiator too lol
24:14 i thought something caught fire but was the sun shining thru ont the bucket. 25:55 was one of those root balls under your tracks i mentioned below, scoop under it and the tree would have fell on over.....its a learning process but you got it going on though
@@Dumpster_Dave the pup in the seat had me laughing, he was getting a massage and looked to be going to sleep🤣. I thought that last tree that was hung up had got you when it fell, when the tops come out of a dead tree and you dont see it they really get your attention when they fall 50’ smack the roof then fly off as dust
nice tractor for it`s size , but i do recommend that you flush out all of the old school green calcium ladened coolant for the newer better coolant that will not clog up the radiator over time
@@Dumpster_Dave thanks Dave...much appreciated. I really enjoy your mechanic videos. I did the same my whole life...harder when you get older, just takes more time. Look forward to your next video..thanks again
@@Dumpster_Dave I completly understand because i am use to running a case 850b and 963b track loader and Dad sold the 850 and got a skid steer and i am like in a different world. I dont really like the skid steer myself but he loves it. I hope this makes senses.
Well THAT was lucky, wasn't it??? Heh heh! Yeah Man! Ahhh, made me smile.... The heart of a degenerate gambler.... Imma pull this off, and hope like hell the threads match... Heh heh heh!!! High five Sir. Not easy to film while you're spraying a hose... Somehow it only takes .0025 seconds for water to hit the lens.... Nice job. That's a neat machine....
$800 would have been a good price to cut that tree down… just saying, but if it can be done by yourself by all means save the money. But for the record $800 for a tree that size it a good price
Would need an overweight permit for that where I’m at but that’s not bad at all. I’ve transported mini excavators and skid loaders inside of my 50 yard can
I thought it was running out of fuel, I’m not sure if you ever ran a diesel out of fuel, but it sucks. Also this is a non-turbo machine so don’t see why you would have to cool it down.
Boy, Dave is Hard on the equipment!!! Glad that's not my 931!!
Dude that things sick. Its like the perfect homeowner size but its got industrial strength!
Yeah it is

It works great, I can haul 14 ton’s without the over weight permit.

It’s great to see that machine being used to show its power
he will have that bucket fin ripped off in no time
Grapple set up on this machine would smash the clean up of tree pushing as well

When you push trees over lift the bucket up as you're pushing. This will lift the roots out of the ground.
Awesome as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along

lol me too
Thanks Dave for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you, your air filter is dirty i saw thing's flying around in it, nice little strong machine good work 👍😁💪
Track loader for the win!
It's crazy how hard that thing pushes relative to it's size.
It's because Andrew never owned it. Lol.
About equivalent to a D5 it's doing great!
Love that truck.
I've heard that motor oil on the track links help loosen them up.
[thank, you for youre video. nice, looking bull dozer. i, just bought a 2002, 939c cat track loader bull dozer with a 4&1 bucket]
The 4&1 buckets nice

Yeah just getting use to it. Has a lot of power.

lovely doggo!
Dumpster Dave's Tree Lowering Service = You Saw them
Well the easy days at the concrete plant are over for that Cat.
In time you'll master that cat
Wonder if you could fab up a homemade KG blade of some kind to cut them stumps up easier 🤷🏻♂️
👏👏👍👍👍
It sounds as if you have the RPM's set a tad to high when you're running the machine.
Yeah that $20 water gauge may have saved you couple grand + lucky you
👍
That thing's badass
Good job 👍 Don't some pine trees have a really deep tap root?
I would of cut that tree for 200 bucks. Cash Job.😗Nice machine!!
Thank you for sharing. Why were you mowing down the trees?
The mosquitoes and ticks are really bad, and everything is super overgrown. Planning on putting a fire pit area In the future.
Dave....what was that app you were using on your phone for property lines? Changing out the heat guage in the field was a nice touch.
Hunt stand app

I need info on how one coves like how does the motor make the transmission go into gear it is a drotts skid loader
Dozer Dave
Any of those trees worth going on the sawmill or are they all busted up
Maybe. Come take a look I have a lot more also some black walnuts.
A little more practice and you will have it down. The only way to learn is to do it. Just stay safe my friend.
Yes, Im use to running a skid steer. This feels totally different, but I will get it.

IS THIS THE TRACK LOADER FROM THE AUCTION?
Yes
So.... what was the purpose of knocking down the trees, when youre not taking all down? It didnt give you more room!
There’s a lot more room, once everything is cleaned up and graded off it will make a good spot for a fire pit.
What was the height on that loaded on the flat deck? Been throwing around that idea but most of my equipment would likely be over height
13’ 8” a little to high for tunnels
Would need an overweight permit for that where I’m at but that’s not bad at all. I’ve transported mini excavators and skid loaders inside of my 50 yard can
Sweet your little fella just save you heap $$$"""" good deal ********😅
Selective editing
You get your big branch on top of your head pushing them that way you better do what Andy does dig them out first You're asking for trouble
Be glad the dog can't talk
Lol
Cat motors? I think you mean all motors.
You are torturing that track loader. That is a nice little machine, but you are destroying it
While watching this video I though to myself .. Dave has watch too many CAMARATA videos. Tiny 931 does the work of a 977🤔 .. Don't abuse your machine.
Dumpling Dork: Did you make the bus stop I asked you to earlier? For my visit-youtube-makers bus tour?
What a disaster you have going on there.
Put your seat belt on for Christ sakes
Doesn’t have a seat belt
He’s going to have that machine tore all to hell before long
👍👍
Worse thing u can do is shut off a diesel wile it’s hot. You ideal them that’s how they cool down & You don’t watch the gage’s…Smh not an operator

Lol what a dumb comment.
