If you never crash, you're probably not pushing hard enough to be the best. The most important thing is to regroup, rebuild and get back out there again as quickly as possible!

Double crest jump Ok, (blind) , flat into it for 350 m . Glad you both ok after that and like a legend rebuilt into new shell. Baby Blue lived on .

Really inspirational video, showing how we can pull things back from a disaster.
I can only imagine the hours of work that went into rebuilding that shell.
Only gripe was the music, I had to mute it, because it was awful.

The panes are not broken, so you can see again what such a cage can withstand! Great result turned out really cool! 👌🏼

First crash in my mk2 . Eight days after getting my licence. Used a lamppost and a chain to get her straightish. Good times.

I may be wrong? but it never even cracked the screen did it? i thought at first that was a total but when you go & look at the vid the main part of the car is straight as a die, testament to the strength of that cage (and a bit of luck as well i guess) nice job.
Well spotted. Front end and rear end got the brunt of it. No roof or cage damage.

How many times has this car been wrecked? I was watching a more recent rebuild, it's like Toretto's Charger, it keeps coming back.

Frank glad you both were ok, how long in total for you to reshell the car and a ball park cost!!!!!!
I didn't see a new shell there. Just new front quarter and new boot. The cage saved the shell. Still lots of work fixing it, but not re-shelled per se.
It wasn’t reshelled it was repaired. Old fords never die 😂

one thing NAVAGATERS told me it was good to finish a rally in one. and yes I am not just saying that. TOP NAVAGATERS I had in night rallies back in the 1980,s in the UK open roads. I had cuts of CAMDOM nav 2 or 3 times. hmm may be 1 time he had a mint mk2 the nav even the back axel was tooth brush fin well he was a RS200 member in the UK .
