I love this tip and can't wait to try it! One tip that I would like to share for Tipsy Tuesday and that when you have a glass of wine in your quilt studio, it is better to drink white wine instead of red. Much easier to remove spills from your quilt!
Nice technique, quick question - how do you cope with where there are joins in the strips? Do you press the seam allowances open or to one side and how does the stitching cope with the bulk?
I love this idea! But can it be applied to pre-made binding? I inherited quite a stash of it from my late grandma. Thank you for all your great tips -- and for keeping us in stitches even in a pandemic! ♥️
Love this. Thanks so much for sharing this tip.
Thank you very much, I love it.
Very nice, I'm going to try it!
Very clever!
Why haven’t ever thought of that before?! Stupendous idea! Gotta try it.
Thank you! What a great tip
Awesome idea on one side binding!❣

Never thought about embellishing the binding. Thanks for the tip. Trying it soon.

Great demo on embellishing our bindings. Question: Do you recommend stitching this on straight of grain?
Ooh, good question, I'll have to ask Karen on our next recording session. Thanks for reaching out. I'll get back to you next time I see her. :)
Hi, this is Karen. I don't use the straight of grain, but it might be a good idea. I haven't personally tried that.
