- It’s 3 Ingredient Buttermilk Biscuit time!! I have many memories of Grandma Barb making from-scratch buttermilk biscuits. They were always the last thing made for the meal, and she’d work quickly and effortlessly. Those biscuits were made and placed into the hot oven in under a minute flat and goodness they were heavenly, and still are. She’s good!

@Toastyyy, it's comments like that one that made me have to enforce a "NO beverage" policy in my office- technically anywhere near my desk/computer/keyboard, ... my office at home, my rule. My keyboard has been "aerial assaulted by liquid projectiles" waaay too many times and has been rebelling. It's ok, just means I have to get up a bit more often which is actually a good thing!

Look into making good sandwich melts, you can use leftovers for the meat.
The best way to get better at cooking is to cook new things with leftovers. If you had beef stew one night add broccoli and some teriyaki sauce now you have Chinese beef and broccoli
Add in pickling and sauces, you will the best cook on your block for the rest of your life. great start hoss

Try them with Crisco instead of butter they come out flakier
l use _butter flavored crisco_ for the best of both worlds.
Crisco is transfat... liver killer. It does taste great though lol
Crisco is a manufacturing by-product. I hear it's killer. Look into that for yourself & family

I throw all ingredients in my food processor- Cuisinart Classic (7 cups)...Done!! ( Yeah, the dough will be wet, but it will work out just perfect!!

What if you don't have a grater, can I melt the butter and put it in the self rising flour?
I wouldn't recommend it, it would make the dough wet, and wouldn't rise in the oven.
