I did this for my college audition. Thing is i didnt have a pianist to play with me, so i accidentally took off at like 130 bpm on the second movement. I still dont know how i survived lmao
@@vemnock3622 nice. good luck on it. the second page looks hard cause of all the sixteenth notes, but it’s really just scales and chromatic. if it’s not it’s just repeating rhythms. the challenge is just not changing tempo at all
It’s actually at a pretty normal pace for what is actually written on the music. I think it says “March” or something? I’m not sure and I’m only a college student with no professional experience.
Well done Mr. Brown. I've got to perform this next month and I could only dream of playing it this well. So many delightful stylistic touches. :)

This is really great, but he's like 6 cents flat on many notes in the slow section and it's really getting to me.
._.
He starts the crescendo super flat as well
@@Grappling.Galore no way charles
perfect pitch andy
I'd like to see you play this as well as he does.

Play the triplets right please, but other than that it was a nice performance of one of my favorite trumpet pieces.
Can anyone tell me when this piece was composed please?
Maybe the 1870’s
Just a guess
The description of this video says 1919
If you still care, Guillaume Balay, Chef de la Musique de la Gardr Repiblicaine, Revised by Mager and Andraud

"fast section" is too slow.
