Note: Hyundai doesn't give spare parts directly through showroom. They have stopped giving spare parts from service centre. There are tie ups done with other retailers having bad customer services. Doing similar to Honda policies

1. Height of Exter
2. C pillar style.
I have booked it but i will cancel it now. On roads it doesn’t look appealing. Punch looks robust and macho, Exter is like a modified version of Wagon R

No Bs6 phase can substitute the refinement of 4 cylinder ever. With every phase people claim Tata's has become "refined". Reality is Tata needs to focus on that extra cylinder for long term refinement. I have 14 yr old i10 and it is what u call refined and smooth.
Tata can never use 4 cylinder in lower segment cars because it will further impact the mileage.
Just for your information..most of thr car company who have solid body, now days using 3 cylinder engine for better milege..
Do you know that the turbo engines used in expensive i20 and venue models are 3 cylinder and 1.0L and come at 11 lakhs+? Does that make them inferior? Nope, they provide ample power and they DO get noisier although not as much as Tata. The noise thing is subjective, someone who plays music while driving wouldn't even notice, your older i10 didn't have to go through strict BS6 phase 2 norms. Tata is focusing on driving quality and suspension which is something I notice 100% of the time, no amount of silence can fix poor braking, average steering response and bumpy suspension. Toyota Hyrider uses a 3 cylinder 1500 cc lol compare that to i10 does that make it less refined?

Exter looks horrible. However, hyundai has a silent and smooth cabin. Although punch gives you far much better ride comfort and handling.

Idk why people bash cars today, co. has made these cars with the market demand only. Why would they make them if they are not good? No one can tell me one reason how a jazz or Altroz is much superior to these cars? Can't say space, these cars have the rear knee room like compact SUVs , as he said in video, he can take it anywhere which maybe a hatch also but you would be very careful with those. Those hatches also have normal 1.2L unit, for a regular guy , I think these cars are good enough. Yes, they are costly now but that has mainly to do with inflation and the amount of features they offer. Base variants are still vfm

I owned i20 first gen sports variant with manual transmission (2012-2021). I took it to NE India, Bhutan and she drove effortless. I don't understand why he keeps cribbing about ground clearance. Regarding milage mine was manual and in city traffic she use to return 12-13 kmpl and on highway 15+ easily. May be he had a TC his fuel efficiency was bad or else i don't know. I upgraded from old i20 to new i20 in 2021 and the amount of space and ease of drive with fuel efficiency is awesome. I have the 1 Ltr TDCT. Hyundai is always much refined as compared to Tata but if you want only 5 star rating Tata is your only option.

Buying Fronx Delta plus, with AMT (AGS) for 10.25 lakh is a much better option than Punch or Exter.

It includes RTO and insurance, b ut not accessories, which you can always buy separately from open market. Personally, I have bought Fronx Alpha Automatic, again a very good car.

I was planning to buy my first car and visited the hyundai showroom yesterday, i20 and Exter was in my mind after sitting in Exter i dint even feel i was in a car but when i was sitting in I20 it really felt yes i’m inside a car which feels premium. Back seat space is really not good at all in Exter, also felt like a steroid version of i10 😂. Sorry no hard feelings everyone has their own opinions.

People in India value more about fancy features in their vehicle rather then their own safety. Kind of thought process results in buying Hundai cars who doesn't even opt for NCAP test ....where as TATA Punch comes with 5 star rating....😅
This person had took this discussion to a serious different way, he was all prepared when ravi ji tries to convert his interest towards tata punch and the responses were incredible. Even then one and only thing with tata had about safety package was very well responded. I suppose he must had already watched earlier video's of DDS and was well prepared with all possible positive imposing points in favor of tata from DDS to compromise well.

Final Verdict :Punch is King in the segment , After launching Punch in October 2021 it entered top 15 highest selling car in India and til now it is mostly in top 9 . After launching Exter in July 2023 it is in 21 spot and very soon it will be out of 25. No comparison with Punch in terms of Driving dynamics , Ride quality , Space management , Performance ( high speed stability) ,looks more bulky than Exter and last not least is mileage. Ok ok, exter was launched on 10th July, maybe deliveries started from 15th. Exter sales was 7000 for that month, that too counting those 15 days. So it means if it had got the whole month, it would have been 14000. Moreover it's a new car, people are waiting for its review. Wait for the coming months, punch sales are sure gonna take a hit.
