That was a nice catfish, the AC fan is a bit noisey but you're loud enough to be heard just fine, some people might not like the family camping videos but I enjoy watch the youngsters having fun, especially on the sasquatch hunting trips. LOL

Nice catch. It's a good thing you only had one beverage before going down those rocks. Also, you need to get yourself an inflatable paddle board. The conditions were perfect to paddle around the lake

Hey Brian, tell your wife Happy Mother's Day. I have a pro tip for you on cat fishing. Use a smaller treble hook, put some chicken livers on it. Cut a piece of pantyhose about one-and-a-half inches in diameter. And stretch it on all three hooks and the fish can't get your bait. I have a 65 lb catfish under my belt.... so good luck🤞.

Question-with the AC is there any water/condensation from the unit and if so how are you managing it? I have that same unit but haven’t used it yet. Not warm enough where I’ve been. But I’m concerned with the condensation and the tailgate carpeting. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
These units don’t really drain. They have a spinner ring that splashes the water back into the condenser to keep it cool.

Hey Brian (Dean here)... I'm thinking about building the "AC Wall" for my truck camping build but I've been curious, and this video made me think of my question again. I know the bedrug isn't phased by the water (rain)...but in the times you've camped, with the AC Wall setup, and it's rained on you...have you noticed any problems? Maybe things like the wall getting damaged by the rain, any leaking or seeping in by the AC, or your camper smelling musty after you tear down the next morning, close the tailgate and it stays closed up? Anything.... I'm just curious if there's things I should be thinking of when I build mine....and/or lessons learned by you that you might've done differently had you known what you know now. Hi Dean. Honestly, I haven’t had this setup in the rain yet. I do have a tarp with me is plan on using to drape over the false tailgate and over my folded down tailgate and kind of stake it to the ground….if you can picture that.
I think I’ll just chance it getting wet and see what happens that first time. I don’t want to carry a bunch of extra stuff out there. I think it’ll be fine to get wet…. Just wanted to see if you had already been through the scenario. I’d be worried the wind would take the tarp or cause problems and I wouldn’t want to chance it beating the sides of my truck and scratching something 😬. Live and learn I guess…. It’ll all work out one way or the other. Thanks!

Great video Brian!! That is a beautiful camp site, I wouldn't mind going there myself. What lake is it if you don't mind me asking? It's huge! Nice catch with the catfish! We've had alot of storms here too, and now that the rain is over and the sun is out it is oppressive to say the least, so muggy! I'll have to see if my wife wants to try some of that wagu beef I've never had any of it before. Hope yall have a great time this weekend, and go catch a big bass lol 🍻

Thumbs up 👍 there’s a good app for storms and thunderstorms, snow, etc RadarNow! I used it when trucking across the country.
It’s got a setting for refresh rates and you can set it for 3 minutes or whatever. But it will let you see the direction it going from your location. Like a little math and you can see if it coming to you or going away should I drive now or park. It’s a very useful app. Also I don’t pay for the upgrade as the basic version is good. 😊 thanks again for the overnight and good fishing trips 😊

Hey Brian, nice video. 25:14 reminds me of the sunsets/sunrise I'd see in the gulf or the I.O. (Indian Ocean) With the same sea state. (Sea state is the general condition of the free surface on a large body of water.)
