Mr. Prinze represents a common, but rarely mentioned, effect that celebrity can have on a person. He seemed to have it “all together”, to be balanced, well prepared, and ready, for the stardom that was sure to come. Sadly, he wasn’t. A real presence in the world of entertainment (not just “hispanic entertainment“), he was a great PERSON. THAT’S what I miss most. He treated everyone equally and his kind is a rarity. Such a shame. Cheers, Freddie! You still made a great contribution to us & I, personally, thank you, sir. R.I.P. 👍

I wasn't accepted by people while growing up just because I was from the wrong state. You know Mass to Flo. So I can relate. I have no friends from school. That is tough growing up with no friends.
I was able to see a live taping of Chico and The Man ,my friend and I were in the very front row as she was in a she was in a wheelchair,so we were basically only a few feet from Freddy wheh the show was being taped ,I’m a retired nurse I told my friend that he was nit acting normal he seemed high ,I’d lerarned to recognize sings and Symptoms of it working in the e r. ,month later he wouid take his life, very very tragic .
Freddie was amazing. At 18 he was the funniest guy on earth. Look up his appearances on Johnny Carson.
Please watch Chico and the Man. Tell me how he surpassed all comedians of his time.
Watch him and then watch Mork and Mindy - see how Robin ripped off Freddie after Freddie died.
really liked him same with Peter Duel
WTH did the skit of Chris Farley on SNL had todo with Freddy Prince ??? You guys are screwed up !!!
Easy, both screwed their lives because of drug addiction. One shot his brains off, the other died alone from a drug overdose, basically mimicking his boyhood idol John Belushi.
Too much fame, too fast!
Those 8Track tape days
What was the word being bleeped 🤬
Wait- in 1973 he was 19 when he went into Johnny Carson and in 1977 he was 22 ?????
It happened in February 1977 (I was 15) so I guess it was before his birthday that year when he would have turned 23?
Joe, check the absolute dates.
So simple…
Now leave…and take the flies with you. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I knew he’d make it. Even though he did cocaine he didn’t act stupid like Robin Williams!
its sad to hear about people dieing of suside and that's so sad .
You bleeped the word “gypsy?!”
We kids watched what our father watched. We could watch or if not our parents would find a piece of work for us or we could go to bed even earlier than usual. This is why we're experts on the NFL. There are many programs I've never seen.
I wasnt impressed with him. But very sad when i heard he took his life. I didn’t care or think David Brenner was funny. Just me, and I'm sure many did. Saw David, in-person, when he was with Sonny & Cher. Just my opinion... everyone.
This guy takes his life and it's ruled an accident so that the insurance company has to pay? Ridiculous!!
And before there was Freddy there was Lenny Bruce. Freddy also married Lenny Bruce daughter and had one child.
At least his golddigger didn't get a nickel. Whatever problems he had that were so egregious that she got a Magic Restraining Order after ONE YEAR of marriage were with him before the wedding. She knew who he was, she knew how he was. Notice she filed as soon as there was an income baby?
'Yoko' Prinze?
We all know what guns and drugs look like. WHY are you blurring them?
Why is there so much Asthma among Artists?
Cigarette smoking all day everyday in front of children.
I didn't know he had died so young. I guess all the work he left behind made him seem older.
Oh yeah! Chico and the Man. Freddie s show
Considering how many times he played Russian roulette, it's surprising it didn't happen sooner.
Saturday Night Fever was a year after Freddy Prinz died. I think the T.V. show he was on,made him a slave and wasn’t family friendly. The Man,was a grouch. I remember they both argued a lot.
Which didn’t help his image.
Sharen
Saturday Night Fever came out in November of 1977. And we already know your name is Sharon.
He was a coward! Only cowards take their own lives & leave children
Lucy you got some splainin to do, was never said on the I love Lucy show.
Also myself and millions of others remember
Desi ArnEz not ArnAz.
Everyone is affected by the Mandela Effect.
Was that hottie in the thumbnail supposed to be clickbait?
Yep. It's Pam Greer.
Does the commentator say "happy" wears the crown instead of heavy wears the crown?
SEINFELD WAS NEVER FUNNY!!! 🤮
