love the camera....but can you add a video to show how to correctly expose for clog without the need for an external monitor. hard to know the best approach for this without zebras or waveforms. thanks
Love the R and my RF lenses and EF lens which you can easily throw on. Brilliant! I don't get the criticism ... I love the function bar and I don't shoot much 4k so the crop is no biggy.
Hello Canon Friends, I have this question, can I put together the Model R and the Atomos ninja V and record at the same time the camera and the ninjaV using the autofocus mode, and getting a clean file of the SSD Card I mean, no red dot blinking recording signal, no autofocus lines green or withe, no date or time? thanks.
Absolutely a brilliant camera from the get going, the only issue i have ever had with it would be the sensor on the EVF, if you are wearing a HiVis vest of any type, the EVF activates and the screen goes dark, so when i'm shooting at an industrial location or anywhere i need to wear a hi visibility vest "abandon locations, high traffic location and so on, the screen will shut off instantly, this took me a while to figure out on location as it was very frustrating, non the less that is the one thing i wish is addressed in the next firmware update. :) thanks
How do you get the black Q-screen? When i press Q im still in live view, with limited information on screen. I guess it's a simple setting somewhere...
Really disappointimg video. Seems like this Canon representative shot obscure images of a runners foot and headless skaters because the camera cant actually keep up with real action at 8fs. Sorry Canon, Ive been with you since the 5D I but you keep releasing below par cameras. The competition are doing videos of skiers flying past & the focus is nailed. We cant use a shot of a torso or a foot.

Why the fps decrease 8fps to 5fps when Eos R is in servo and burst mode?

Zebras need to be integrated in the next firmware update! It's so much easier to work with :)
