Jeff seems like such a juxtaposition in personality. He is laid back and calm and smooth - yet also hopped up like a toddler on Sugar. He plays with the headband on his hand to relieve nerves. He erratically shifts topics quickly, cold reads his interviewer and engages them on a topic they can connect on. Like Aretha Franklin. Something must have tipped him off about her interest in Soul and he latched on. This is something he has demonstrated many a time in interviews and not something out my ass. He's Sherlock Holmes. He picks up on minute details. He is nervous and that comes off as suave, he's either a well adjusted sociopath or just naturally cool :P Either way? I am lumbered with a 6 foot cardboard cut out of the man in my living room because of a skit gone wrong thanks to a Spinal Tap level of mis-reading Thanks Jeff :P
