L&D nurse and nurse practitioner here. Honestly, folks with anxiety shouldn’t google symptoms. A large amniotic sac at 6 weeks gestation doesn’t predispose you to a miscarriage. Be careful about forums and chat rooms. They will send you down a rabbit hole. Every pregnancy is individual and there is no absolute size a gestational sac should be. Looking at your ultrasound on your video, the decidua looks really good and the fetus is right where it should be. In the first trimester, if there is something wrong with the embryo, there is nothing that can be done. Getting more ultrasounds or seeing your OB won’t change that. I would encourage you to continue to enjoy your first trimester. There is no reason to anticipate anything other than a healthy pregnancy.
I wish I could share a picture in the comment- I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks that looked really similar to yours. It was an ultrasound done in the ER after I had some bleeding and went in to see if everything was fine. I went on to have a totally uneventful pregnancy and he is very healthy! I also read a lot online during pregnancy because of a previous miscarriage. You just can’t listen to them. For every horror story you see online there are 1,000 pregnancies with the same thing happen that were totally healthy. People don’t post the good stuff, just the bad stuff! You’ve got this and congratulations on your pregnancy!
You can go to one of the free pregnancy clinics and make a donation. The ones near me always accept donations. And the boutiques aren’t always 100% accurate with measurements. Especially if it’s not transvaginal this early on.
Im 6 weeks 2 days ! A little bit behind you ! Congratulations to you. My little one’s heartbeat was at 97bpm so they are a bit worried. Mine was at the doctors office and it was a transvaginal ultrasound.
I had the same with my 4th pregnancy! They had me come back too to make sure there were not two. There was not. Normal pregnancy. Only diffenrence that pregnancy for me was i stayed super sick the whole pregnancy like all day morning sickness 😂. But she was also my first girl after 3 boys.
My friend was pregnant with identical twins and they didn’t see both during her 6 week ultrasound then at 16 weeks for had another ultrasound and there were two! So you could have twins. I hope you go back for another ultrasound
I had an identical twin pregnancy. I had already had a scan at my fertility clinic but have recurrent losses so I went to a boutique b/c well I'm a basket case while pregnant . She told me that both yolks were big and that it was concerning. I knew they were fine b/c I had just had a scan 4 days prior and they measured the normal like 2mm a peace. I think it was just the setting she had on the machine... I did lose them but it was later --- and I think it was more so my sucky body than them having issues. SO likely it's just the settings or positioning on the machine that made it appear way bigger honestly. When I went for a follow up scan at my clinic ---the yolks continued to be normal so thats how I know her measurement was off... since you see a HB I'd try to just focus on that.
Haven't seen a new video in a few weeks. Praying everything is going well and you just are too nauseous and tired to film. I finally got my positive yesterday. Praying for a sticky baby to finally have the last member of our family. ❤
This is true, I had triplets and my twins sac was that big. My surrogate baby was also a twin and it was big but unfortunately I lost both my twins early on and the one surrogate baby. One of the surrogates went to term.
It is possible that if your bladder was really full it may have distended your uterus and made it look bigger too. I would keep up positive thoughts for sure! You have a little growing baby ❤️💕
Omg sis. I am6+4 and I promise I just went to a free clinic yesterday and I have a big sac like yours. They saw 2 circles on the screen and they told me it maybe twins. Now I am going to my OB on Monday to see if it is twins for real. My OB moved up my confirmation appointment because I got an ultrasound that looked similar to yours, but mine did have 2 circles visible.
Your sack looks around the same size mine did with my son and everything was completely fine. I just ended up having a ton of water so not sure if thats related. Xx
I was 6.2 days on my ultrasound on 16 of September and my sac measured 20 mm with 2 babies - 3 mm each near each other. She had to go vaginal to see it, on the belly it wasn’t showing
You are good girl they told me mine was big also and that with moms who have been pregnant more then once can sometimes have a bigger sac but honestly I don’t think yours looks as big as mine was and girl go to that clinic that is why they are there don’t feel bad about using anything that they have available it’s possible you could have twins but I only had 1 baby and I am a few days from 36 weeks pregnant and pregnancy has been great besides the all day sickness I wish we had a free or reduced clinic in my area I would have definitely went there

Im a registered sonographer and I do not know why she said that…that gestational sac is not big at all. It also doesn’t mean anything in regards to twin pregnancy. Watching her scan and say that was wild to me. If it was a boutique us place they may not be registered in Ob us but instead trained on the job and say inappropriate things. I do wonder if she was trying to just get you to come back because that gs is entirely appropriate for gestational age.
Also in case people start commenting about another gestational sac…you appear to have a large cyst on your ovary which is probably your corpus luteum of pregnancy which helps nourish the pregnancy until the placenta takes over.
Thank you for all this information. This is why I want to go to get an ultrasound from an OB instead. I am just grateful I was able to hear the heart beat!

No lie I swear by 7 weeks I looked 12, even my doctor said holy cow twins lol!! But it was the bad bloating because after a few weeks it settled hahah
They made me wait to 8 weeks before my first ultrasound so there little to no change I get a false miscarriage diagnosis
