Damn this is the best F1 experience around. I love your coverage of the races but the documenting of your travels is an awesome additional aspect. As a sport that travels all over the world, I think it’s very fitting to see the journeys you undertake between each race. Keep up the amazing work Kym!!!
Great tips Kym! I have a flight booked with Qatar Business in Q-Suites later this year with my wife and 8-month old son. We have a 7.5hr layover in Doha and were planning to use the Qatar business lounge but you've 100% sold me on the upgrade to the first class lounge based on your review. Thanks so much for sharing.

If your second flight is in the ME region it should be in first class and you will have access to the lounge without the need to pay any extra money.

Thanks for taking us along. I really enjoy your travel videos. The Doha lounge looked mighty impressive. Here's hoping for a terrific race at Spa, maybe my favorite circuit on the F1 calendar. There's talk of it falling off the calendar - that's almost sacrilege for a sport that supposedly cares deeply about its history.

My experience with Emirates in Dubai looks better then Doha. With Emirates boarding is directly from the Lounge floor to the gate!! Super!!
Not all lounges but That is a super plus.

Hi kym when you’re in singapore in 2 weeks you should check the Singapore airlines terminal 3 lounge which just opened. That and my old man actually designed it haha.

Al Safwa lounge is my best lounge ever. Usually when I travael in the middle east I travel with Qatar Airways just to access the lounge and feel that luxurious space around me. For that reason let me give you a tip. If you are travelling anywhere in the middle east (Ex : Abu Dhabi) and you choose to go through Doha in business class. Your second flight from Doha to your destination anywhere in the ME will be in first class as no business class available from Doha in the ME region. hence you will be able to access the lounge without paying any extra money 😁
I think you need to get a rainbow painted bicycle like Sebs for penance for all the flying you do. Lol

When you come to Brazil in november go to LATAM or Banco Safra VIP lounges in São Paulo.
Kim, I’m with you on Qatar Airlines - my favourite so far. The airport in Doha is great but the names of the lounges are really ambiguous. The business lounge is not the business class lounge. My favourite lounge is the Virgin lounge in Heathrow - all the things you need. The Qatar lounge at Heathrow is small but fab.

Kym, Doha airport has a swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym in the airport you can use. It's called Vitality Spa. Maybe you should have a swim on your next layover?!
You should give away or include in a package the Diptyque 34 cologne as you stated you have many from previous flights LOL! I look forward to every video you post Kym, cheers to you!

Every time you go through Doha I can't help to mention the Cable Liner airport transit train, it's such a novel technology.
I think Lufthansa’s First Class Terminal in Frankfurt is the best there is. Do try it one of these days
Agree re the Middle Eastern lounges Kim. I now always travel to Europe on a QF ticket with Emirates. Just back yesterday from Bangkok with Thai and the lounge was uninspiring.

Only the rich travel much in the Middle East. In the USA anyone can travel anytime and most who do can afford the relatively cheap airfare. So there isn’t much profit to pay for such lavish lounges. Those who are as rich as the traveling Middle Easterners fly private and bypass most of the commercial airport facilities. So traveling commercial you’ll never see the super rich amenities.

US air travel is nothing more than a greyhound bus with wings.
The thing is that q-suites business product is arguably a much better all round product than most of Qatars first class offering. So it makes no sense to pay the extra for first, other than for the lounge. Strangely Qatar don't prepare any food in the lounge, as all catering is done off site.
you obviously know why the Middle East are the best at this and nobody else comes close.💲although I did watch kara and Nate on Lufthansa first class, think it was Frankfurt airport, that looked like it came close.

a few years back we did the paid upgrade to "first class lounge" but when we got there the door dragons said no no no, you have access to the "other first class lounge".
It was not even as good as the usual business lounge.
be careful of Qatar and their forked tongue marketing.
In the US, all Companies answer to the SCUMS of WALL STREET 4 times a year! It is never enough! Screw the customer, treat them like Cattle and SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!
