- How good is Qatar's Q suite? Well after the Azerbaijan F1 GP I made my way to Miami for the 5th F1 race of the season and Iwas lucky to score a business class seat on Qatar Airways which involved a 15+ hour flight from Doha to Miami in the legendary QSuite. This is the best business class seat in the sky and Qatar should be delighted with the product. Join me on this monster leg as we head to Miami on Qatar Airways business class QSuite.

As an American, I don't think you realize how fast you cleared customs. You might have set a Guinness WR. I'm pleased to hear that even dealing with AVIS, you were in and out in 30 minutes. Shocked!!!!
I think he realised, thats what he talked about it so positively. It would be at least his 6th time in the US for F1

one of your best vlogs, ever! i was recently in northern portugal and toured the vineyard that produced the port on your flight, it’s quite small so what a surprise to see it on a qatar flight!

7:57 the dude in the background on the right is from McLaren I’m pretty sure. I’ve seen him on a couple of videos Mclaren has made including that message to Carlos where they all spoke Italian.

I've flown with qatar airways qsuite once for my jakarta to doha flight, and the experience was outstanding. Definitely recommended to all of the backpackers around the world. The flight attendant was really nice and the food and beverages were simply extraordinary. The lounge was perfect and theres alot of food options. The seats were really comfortable and theres alot of space to stretch our leg freely. I also got alot of privacy during the flight. But its really unforetunate to got a place in the middle aisle, not getting a chance to see the beauty of the flight from the window. I expected to fly an A350-900 XWB but eventually i realise that i would fly a 777-300ER. Its also an unfortunate that i cant continue my flight to athens with the Qsuite. Keep up the good work, qatar airways 👍

The fact those 30 didn’t know much about F1, if it all, shows how huge the market could be if cracked..ask nearly anyone in a city in the Uk and they could tell you something or a driver at a minimum

Also if going back through Doha there is a new Qatar lounge that has just opened - The Garden in the Orchard area. Similar access to Al Mourjan. Also new oneworld lounges nearby

Hi Kym, being a VIP member and an avid follower I really enjoy these videos. Not that I am expecting to travel in the near future but I was wondering if you could advise the following: I am an Aussie and drink beer only & are am an occasional spirit drinker. Can you advise what beers are available on the flights you take? I know Southern Comfort is your favourite but mine is Makers Mark - do they stock that.

Edit: BTW, welcome back to the States! I’m one of those Americans that have been watching F1 for pushing two decades and didn’t just learn about the sport due to Netflix! I’ve been to a half dozen football games at Hard Rock so I really want to come see it configured for an F1 race! But those prices! 💰💰💰

I flew Qatar Airways from Manila to Doha and we had a medical emergency landing in Mumbai! We missed our flight to Killamjaro and had to overnight at the airport hotel. Hammad International is great airport.
Kym, why didn't you fly on the direct chartered Qatar flight from Baku to Miami? Saw a B777-300ER departing!

Kym next time you’re in that lounge restaurant for Doha get the ala carte menu the grilled salmon dish I had was to die for their Buffett was mid(mediocre) but the ala carte was fantastic

The rental car experience at Las Vegas will be "somewhat different" than at MIA. The car center is the old airport terminal, right next to the new one, but seemingly on another planet.

It took me 2 hours to get through JFK. Why not get a taxi to Hilton as safety of driving after long flight
I landed in Miami airport in February; 2 hours and 15 minutes to get though passport control! Just what you need after a 10 hour flight in economy -.-
I guess Turkish Airlines didn't have good rates? There is an over-nighter from Baku to Miami via Istanbul (IST-MIA 00:20-06:00 or something like that). It's not better than Qatar, but at least you spend 4 less hours in the air and you don't have to leave Baku at some godawful hour.
Taxi was driving on LPG. I know. I do the same.
Doha Airport is a bit expensive for my liking. Spent a few hours layover back in 2016, my jaw dropped when I saw how much I had to pay for Burger King...

Did I miss how much the flights were? He says it's 3 times what he would pay for Emirates but doesn't say the amount. It seems edited out
Cheaper than $5k for the DOH-MIA flight I'm guessing. Probably $2-3k. Not many flights over $9k
The driver was on empty because most likely he had an LPG installation in his car :D then you only need a bit of fuel to start the car and it switches to LPG tank :)
Honestly their IFE is the worst!!! But the seat and food are good

Qsuite IS the best seat, but variable staff (from excellent to tick a box) can ruin the experience. Appalling customer service attitude, not to mention the human rights issues... I prefer SQ for the total experiance
We learned two things about this video ... #1 I fully understand why driver hire private jets and #2 Its a fact that 99% of Americans don't give a sh@t about F1 yet they get 3 races a year more than any country in the world 😒😒
