There's no such thing as a bad dog just bad dog owners our dog is the center of attention in the household whenever anybody comes through the door the first thing that is done they put their stuff down and start giving the dog attention
This probably won't get read but I'm putting it out there anyway. I have a Korean Jindo. Like Huskies, Jindos are escape artists. And he did everything he could to get out of the yard and hunt when I was at work - OR, look for me. He ripped boards off the fence to get out, among other things. He was a rescue and I could tell he had been physically abused as a puppy. Once I retired, stopped traveling for business and was home pretty much 24/7, his behavior did a 180! He wants nothing more than to be with me. Whether on a walk, in the backyard, or just watching TV, he's by my side. We have our regular routine which he pretty much determined. For example, after an evening walk & dinner, he comes to me with a ball in his mouth at precisely 6:30pm to play fetch indoors. How he knows what time it is amazes me, but we've been doing it for years now and it makes him so happy! And I wouldn't have it any other way!
We have proven dogs feel pain at a physical and emotional level so deliberately failing a dog is an act of serious abuse! Dogs alongside primates are truly social animals that need other companions around constantly. They only live 12 years on average so show them the respect they have earned
Great video. Dogs are not only emotional, they can always detect the owner's emotions. My dogs stay near me during my regular working hours at home. Sometime, they suddenly got up and came to me and nudge me with their heads. Then I realized that I just sighed out of maybe frustration. They were like saying, Hey, boss, are you OK ? Don't worry, we are here for you. ☺
Before my little one was born in 2009, I was living recklessly for 12 years because I lost my mother to a car accident in 1997 in 2009 I was sick with a brain tumor a month after losing my grandfather, and I was on the road to self-destruction his birth later that year not always saved my life, but he gave me a brand new heart and a new purpose in life since then he has made me the best I’ve ever been. He is the best to ever happen to me first born and only male of five puppies. His mother even let me handle him and his four other sisters. Sadly, he lost both of his parents and I am all he has. He is all I need. I used to worry about being alone, and he filled that void. I named him Mortecai which means “ save you from death” because that’s what he did for me. I love him so much more than anything else in this entire universe.
I appreciate the video and subscribed. It made me feel guilty though. I grew up in an old fashioned family that would not allow pets in the house and believed that they only belong outside. We had several dogs growing up and they would always eventually run away and/or get hit by a car. I began to love and appreciate dogs more as an adult and thought I was ready so I got my first puppy 6 years ago. I was ill-equipped to deal with normal puppy behavior so I screamed and yelled at him a lot every time he did what puppies do (destroy my stuff, door dash, etc). I screamed at him for pooping all over my bed after I had just washed and changed the linens only to find out a few days later that he had PARVO and would have surely died if I hadn’t rushed him to the emergency vet. That was a huge wake up call for me realizing that he was deathly ill and couldn’t control his bodily functions yet I scolded him for it. I’ve spoiled him with love and affection ever since and he’s a good loyal companion but I blame myself for any bad behavior he has towards other people. He got put in defense mode at an early age and he doesn’t take it out on me. He only gets aggressive with strangers so I keep a tight leash on him when we’re in public around people he’s not familiar with
Caring for pets requires understanding and love. We may not always get it right, but what matters is recognizing our shortcomings and striving to be better. It takes a gentle soul to acknowledge our imperfections yet our capacity for growth in nurturing our beloved pets. Thank you for your comment. ❤🙏
U have to have a few good neighbors meet with the dog to socialize it more. It thinks people are bad and it's scared that's why it acts that way. My pup was the same
@@dmo848 he goes to a pet sitter every day while I’m at work so he gets a lot of socializing and he’s gotten much better. Thanks for the advice though 👍
Thank you for all this extremely usefull info. Now i can forward and ask my friends to forward. There are too many people that don't realise dogs are sentient beings. Thankyou again!! I live in Africa and most people are uneducated when it comes to animals.
Good video. I wouldn't say these 8 things would be considered unforgivable (dogs are most forgiving), but they are not conducive to a great relationship with your dog. Also, I agree with all 8 things. Thanks for the video!
Good video..I get so fed up with ppl who do no research about a breed @ bring an animal home that will never be able to please them. I've always known never let your dog feel pain from your hands...
Most of what you say is true but.. like a kid sometimes they have to be punished..otherwise they want learn what’s not permissible and what is… same way as giving them a reward when they do what you want..

This is so very true. Thank you getting the truth out to people, it is a must. Everyone should listen to this .
Absolutely, Sadly there are those with short tempers and small brains that react stupidly instead of with love, compassion and a little common sense.
Thank you for this video, I hope everyone with a dog or any pet finds this. ❤
