Red velvet is really versatile. Everyone can do both cute and badass concept, but not everyone can pull it off succesfully. RV has been doing their duality concept since their debut in 2014 thus they’re not experimental groups. They were created to be versatile, it’s in their “Red & Velvet” concept. Their vocals are rich and stable even with only 5 members. Their dance has lotsa details and complex. The members are all different in visual and personality. Stanning Red Velvet is like a festival of colours.
I couldn't agree more with the rap line part. Sometimes i feel like the rap part is so forces and unnecessary that it ruins the entire song for me. Idk why it's important to have both vocals and rap in a song. Its clear that sometimes even the idols aren't that good at rap or interested in it.
Aegyo Bangtan I think it’s because they want to give the rappers and vocalists in the groups parts, and sometimes rappers just aren’t very good vocalists so they have to give them some part(like repetitive lines etc
A good example of non-rap lines songs are Oh My Girl's songs like Secret Garden or Windy Day, they doesn't have any raps yet the songs still soooo good.

The only thing here I don’t agree with is the last opinion that’s about acting in mvs. Dont get me wrong, I’m not saying all of the mv should be a Netflix series but including some scenes here and there shows new abilities to the artists and makes people imagination wiser as each group will view the scene differently. J-Hope is definitely one of the most valuable group members any group can have. He's top 5 in dancing and at least top 20 in rapping (maybe even top 10). The amount of idols who belong to the elite for 2 of these categories is extremely small. Idk about his singing though. It's really just a basic sense of melody but I don't think that's important when he can just rap in every song instead of singing
Honestly people have nothing to point out when it comes to hobi's talent so they find the excuse of his visuals to drag him when in reality he's so beautiful. Innocent/Soft are the perfect words for his beauty. He's isn't your fav memeber fine but atleast you can appreciate how insanely talented he is. Hobi is handsome. Tbh at first I don't find him interesting at all. But after a few months I'm starting to like hobi. He has this charm that you'll fall inlove with him. His smile is a treasure. He is handsome especially his cheeks and dimple. And his eyes is do damn attractive. And ofcourse he is the Golden hyung. Hobi is so versatile. He can rap, dance, sing, produce songs and many more. 🤧
Hobi is literally the sunshine in my life (my bias is Jimin btw) ,but everytime he smiles all my worries/problems I had in that moment are gone just because he smiled for like 3 seconds
I think some are under the impression that the big 3 privilege isn't big is because groups not under large companies are getting more attention than they used to, in 2nd gen to my understanding it was pretty much ONLY big 3 groups attracting fans and nowadays there's well BTS obviously but also groups like Ateez and Loona are being given a proper spotlight. The big 3 privilege isn't lessening, it's the gap between their groups and others that's closed. That's not to say that there are still many underrated groups under small companies though
what I think about privilege is that they give you exposure for more people, but that does not mean they will stan a group, I think if a group have good music and a good promotion from their company, even the small companies, I believe they will get many fans, since after bts international success many people from all around the world check kpop groups with good songs without the care about their company
i've been a kpop stan since 2008 and back then it was mostly, SM, JYP and YG. sure there is a privilige for idols from those company's but the company earned that position. they barely produce flops, they have extremely high standards for their idols to an unhealthy degree. the fact that other company's are starting to produce amazing artists are great. but if we look at cube or at starship. they have some amazing artists, but also a few flops, which is why they aren't as big.

These groups deserve all the fame they get, but there are so many groups that deserve just as much but don't get it because they aren't from the right company, and yes some of these companies have flops but you can't deny that some groups like pristin would have had success had they debuted under the big 3 and gotten that better management as well as the popularity.

It's that if a big 3 group had instead debuted in a small company, they wouldn't get nearly as much success and they'd receive it at a slow rate. You can't deny that once they make it to debut, they pretty much always become big and can do things like world tours incredibly early. They are certainly privileged in that sense, but privilege isn't a bad thing and they should feel no shame. It's just important to understand how some of their success occurs.

I get what you say but the thing is that this music genre has became a trend in kpop, and that's what bothers me. groups are doing edm music to follow the trend and not because that's the sound they're aiming for. so most of the time it sounds bad or similar to every other typical kpop edm song because that's not a genuine music choice, that's just a way to be more popular by doing what everyone else is doing.

Aside from Jhope being superior in the talent category, "stop only focusing on visuals" shouldn't have to be said when; he was created by Greek Gods. His side profile is the only thing that keeps me breathing. His cheekbones are higher than my grades. His skin is like silk, his teeth are PERFECT, his jawline can cut diamonds, his nose has a beautiful bridge and is very slender, his body is fantastic, his lips are always pink and perfect, his forehead is LEGENDARY, and you can get lost in his eyes. I discovered them through their personalities. When I first got into Kpop I listened to them and decided they weren't my cup of tea. But later I watched some videos of them and fell in love with their personalities, so I listened to their music again. For they have - like a lot of the Jyp artists - songs you need a second listen to like them, but very good songs and now I want to join the fandom.
Similarly IKON too.. Bruvv I didn't know them a year ago.. But Damn.. Their discography is versatile and filled with whole ass Bops.. I don't know why I didn't stan them earlier.. There are so many underrated groups who deserves much more credit..
4:16 Jung Hoseok is the full package of BTS, no one can tell me otherwise. He's really underappreciated. It's frustrating for me to see Hope get ignored when he literally can dance, rap, sing, write and produce. Hope World is my favorite mixtape out of all the mixtapes the rap line has. And yes, Jimin and Jeongguk are amazing dancers, but don't forget Hoseok is the MAIN for a reason.

They have the privilege especially when they debut as they will get exposure from coming from a big company but after that it will boil down to the music they release, their skill, and personality. Twice- dance w/ *Momo & Mina* Jihyo and Sana Red Velvet- vocals w/ *Wendy & Seulgi* and Joy BP- rap w/ *Jennie & Lisa* and Jisoo They bring unmatched talent in their generation and when it boils down that is what makes them even more famous. But they do have privilege it’s just not as prevalent as when they debuted
Watching this makes me proud on HappyFace Ent. (Dreamcatcher Company) 1. DC wore shoes(without heels or maybe with heel/s with 1 or 2 inches) 2. They're performance outfit is way better comfortable than other GG 3. They have story line which is amazing. And it is thrilling not boring 4. They're MV is not all about showing story line but they also showcase their visuals and dance. (Especially their intros) 5. They have a dark concept but they added some species that's why it make more appealing than others. 6. When they have a dance break or dance cover. They keep on puting SuA at the center. And they also put other members on the center to let them shine but I love how they put SuA on the center. (They respect her as a main dancer) 7. They show different concept which is really suited them. They are experimental but I love how they stick on their concept on their main track. And they are experimental in their b-sides track
Hard to find good EDM in kpop though, as a fan of Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party and even earlier Calvin Harris, I know SM have producers LDN Noise whom are really good

That's because they really don't sound the same. Boombayah doesn't sound like Whistle or Playing With Fire. Those two sound nothing like Kill This Love, AIIYL or Stay. None of those songs sound similar to Really or Kick It. They don't have any songs that sound like to DKWTD or See U Later. Hope Not is a completely different concept and Forever Young has a different vibe from all of their songs. The only thing similar is the structure of D4, KTL, and HYLT.

He's underrated amongst the list of idols that are said to be all rounders. Usually when people talk about all rounders they talk to about Jungkook, Seulgi, Jennie or Chanyeol just to name a few. Not that he is underrated as a celebrity because like you said he is a member of one of the most popular music acts in the world, but rather as an all rounded idol. Why do so many People hate Love songs? Love songs are probably the hardest to write. Especially when it’s a sad Love song. Love songs can give off so many different vibes. RV has been doing their duality concept since their debut in 2014 thus they’re not experimental groups. They were created to be versatile, it’s in their “Red & Velvet” concept.
Their vocals are rich and stable even with only 5 members. Their dance has lotsa details and complex. The members are all different in visual and personality. Stanning Red Velvet is like a festival of colours.

I couldn't agree more with the rap line part. Sometimes i feel like the rap part is so forces and unnecessary that it ruins the entire song for me. Idk why it's important to have both vocals and rap in a song. Its clear that sometimes even the idols aren't that good at rap or interested in it.

J-Hope is definitely one of the most valuable group members any group can have. He's top 5 in dancing and at least top 20 in rapping (maybe even top 10). The amount of idols who belong to the elite for 2 of these categories is extremely small. Idk about his singing though. It's really just a basic sense of melody but I don't think that's important when he can just rap in every song instead of singing

I think some are under the impression that the big 3 privilege isn't big is because groups not under large companies are getting more attention than they used to, in 2nd gen to my understanding it was pretty much ONLY big 3 groups attracting fans and nowadays there's well BTS obviously but also groups like Ateez and Loona are being given a proper spotlight. The big 3 privilege isn't lessening, it's the gap between their groups and others that's closed. That's not to say that there are still many underrated groups under small companies though
what I think about privilege is that they give you exposure for more people, but that does not mean they will stan a group, I think if a group have good music and a good promotion from their company, even the small companies, I believe they will get many fans, since after bts international success many people from all around the world check kpop groups with good songs without the care about their company
i've been a kpop stan since 2008 and back then it was mostly, SM, JYP and YG. sure there is a privilige for idols from those company's but the company earned that position. they barely produce flops, they have extremely high standards for their idols to an unhealthy degree. the fact that other company's are starting to produce amazing artists are great. but if we look at cube or at starship. they have some amazing artists, but also a few flops, which is why they aren't as big.

It's that if a big 3 group had instead debuted in a small company, they wouldn't get nearly as much success and they'd receive it at a slow rate. You can't deny that once they make it to debut, they pretty much always become big and can do things like world tours incredibly early. They are certainly privileged in that sense, but privilege isn't a bad thing and they should feel no shame. It's just important to understand how some of their success occurs.

I get what you say but the thing is that this music genre has became a trend in kpop, and that's what bothers me. groups are doing edm music to follow the trend and not because that's the sound they're aiming for. so most of the time it sounds bad or similar to every other typical kpop edm song because that's not a genuine music choice, that's just a way to be more popular by doing what everyone else is doing.

His side profile is the only thing that keeps me breathing. His cheekbones are higher than my grades. His skin is like silk, his teeth are PERFECT, his jawline can cut diamonds, his nose has a beautiful bridge and is very slender, his body is fantastic, his lips are always pink and perfect, his forehead is LEGENDARY, and you can get lost in his eyes. I discovered them through their personalities. When I first got into Kpop I listened to them and decided they weren't my cup of tea. But later I watched some videos of them and fell in love with their personalities, so I listened to their music again. For they have - like a lot of the Jyp artists - songs you need a second listen to like them, but very good songs and now I want to join the fandom.
Similarly IKON too.. Bruvv I didn't know them a year ago.. But Damn.. Their discography is versatile and filled with whole ass Bops.. I don't know why I didn't stan them earlier.. There are so many underrated groups who deserves much more credit..

The only thing similar is the structure of D4, KTL, and HYLT.

Why do so many People hate Love songs? Love songs are probably the hardest to write. Especially when it’s a sad Love song. Love songs can give off so many different vibes. Like What is Love by Twice is this Cuty bubble gum Love song while Don’t wanna cry and Lie again(these songs have a connection) are sad and the lyrics are very deep and you can feel the pain they are singing about. You don’t have to like every kind of song but I think generalizing all Love songs is dumb. It’s not like every love song is about How perfect love is. You obviously don’t have to agree with me since you can like what ever you want but I think hating or Disliking lieb songs doesn’t make sense
