LovelySeungyeon Quick note, SM doesn’t have a dating ban, SNSD confirmed this in a 2014 (2015?) article, and Amber confirmed it again in a reddit AMA. I get why you’re showing Exo but as shitty as SM is, they’re the most lenient towards their idols private lives in comparison to other companies.

I have another opinion: people should stop comenting about the weight of the idols, we don’t know anything about them. They can be naturally skinny or they can have an illness.
People should also stop diagnosing idols with mental illnesses like depression and anxiety. We don’t know anything about these idols yet some stans pretend as if they know exactly how they act and their behavior and moods.
Like when people kept bashing Rosé for looking thinner than before when she literally looks exactly the same as before but with a different outfit. Like they would see her in a pretty dress that shows off her shape one day and she looks "healthy", then the next day she wears something that hides her hips and they'll think she lost too much weight. Like how can she look less "healthy" when yesterday she looked "normal"?
People should stop talking about the the idols looks and weight because this is a "music industry" not a "fashion industry". I mean I get that image is important but they signed up to sing and dance not for people to judge them for their looks
unpopular opinion: (kind of) txt got roty and no matter how many times someone’s says they didn’t deserve it doesn’t change that. being in a successful company and having “privilege” doesn’t change how talented a group is. txt had great album sales and did really well on charts, it’s understandable they won.
i agree because , being in a big company only gives you the privilege of being found sooner , and more people wanting to know about you because of the other artists that are under that company . But if people don't like something like music , they aren't going to keep listening just because it's under this or that company.
I totally agree! I just wish people would keep this energy for all groups that come out of the big companies :( People pull this BS out their ass about NCT all the time and it’s so sad :( All groups work their ass off PERIODT
Lmao yeah for some reason the idea of the 5th gen of Kpop scares me... as well as stans that are much younger than me. I genuinely don’t have a problem with them at all, but it makes me feel old when I’m not really
unpopular opinion: if the dating ban never existed in the first place, there wouldn't be so many toxic fans. the dating ban (as you said) is kinda part of the toxic part as well.
True tho, I'm so sad that idols can't that whoever they please, and need to consider the fans' feeling. It's just so messed up of things that happened when idols starting a relationship );. Toxic fans can be sacry af, like they should just chill the f*** up, the idols are just human, not toys.
I don't think the dating ban is that bad I mean there was one case where an Idol was dating a girl and then one night, his girlfriend killed him only cause she was jealous or just cause she were a psycho. I think there will always be sasaengs and this ban is for protect the Idols
Blame companies. They try to make their artists seem like perfect dolls that can do no wrong, that are avaibke for everyone and anyone. Companies take advantage of insecure audiences so that they can make profit
something that gets on my nerves is when some k-pop stans keep going to random videos and say “stan insert-random-k-pop-idol(s)”, when the videos aren’t even related to the group/idol(s) or even k-pop in general. i’m a hardcore k-pop stan but forcing people to stan groups are kind of toxic.
Vanhmingliani Tochhawng i have a similar story oof, well one of my friend had her best friend committing suicide and she made a post about that as a kind of tribute to her and some comments were like "well maybe if she stanned LOONA she wouldn't be dead" and that just made her very sad and angry and I just don't understand how these kind of people literally don't give a shit and just want to promote their favs but in a "toxic" way...
😭😭 I know this feeling. Why tf they need to comment on other group videos or comments related to a certain group, like idgaf who u wanna stan, but when a video is talking about certain groups/idols, the only necessary comment is related to the group :). They are just forcing and starting to make us hate their stans.
adenike seisay,I feel like this is very unpopular. Even though I agree with you I think some groups will have better sucess and have a bigger fanbases in other countries so it’s smart for companies to promote them there
@@LovelySeungyeon yaa... Blackpink is a good example...their Korean fanbase is not as strong as other GGs but they have great international fanbase tbh
@@burnyg Blackpink girls does a lot of modelling and endorsements so it doesn't matter to them...but for artists who clearly focuses more on music album sales are the most important thing
@@LovelySeungyeon I get where you come frome, but for example nu'est pledis sent them overseas and the people of Knetz "forgot" about them. So now that kpop is international I am afraid some groups Wil be "forgoten".
Opinion: Idols should not debut before at least finishing high school. Idols nowadays are too young, I don't think it's good for their development. They should be given some time to be a kid and have a (somewhat) normal life before they enter the industry. I feel like idols who debut too young have it so hard later on, even if they don't show it. At the end of the day, we don't know what happens behind the scenes.
Hey I get your point about how idols shouldn't be debuting at young ages but I feel like the argument "idols are too young nowadays" is kinda irrelevant when quite a few 2nd gen idols debuted in their teens as well
@@LovelySeungyeon His song actually opened my eyes. I love the song soooo much and the fact that he is talking about not being able to grow up "normally" breaks my heart. Companies can stop this from happening if they choose a reasonable age for idols to debut imo.
I think idols shouldn’t bee trainees. Like you spent 6 years to train, and after 1 year of debuting you group disband, and now you owe your company at least 250.000USD! Trainees don’t mean you become better, sure yes you do, but look at American artist, BTS themself gets 25k a show (Forbes), and someone who has a fanbase of 1 million can get 80k for a show. Someone like Justin Bieber was not a trainee, but it’s the most popular artist in the world. If company’s wants “trainees” it should only be 1 year MAX
Unpopular opinion : You shouldn't force yourself to like a certain song just because it's from your favorite group or because your bias said it's his/her favorite song on the album. You should like the song because you genuinely like it.
Yeah, I realized that pretty quickly when I first started getting into NCT. I love NCT and all of its subunits, but for NCT 127, I discovered that I don't like a majority of their title tracks because it's not a style I'm into. Some songs I enjoy because they have catchy choruses, but songs like Cherry Bomb and Chain I simply will never enjoy. I don't like rap. I never have, and that's NCT 127's major strength, so they'll never have a title track without it. I end up liking their vocal-heavy numbers more.
I’m afraid of clicking a video of “ unpopular opinions “ because most of them hate on something and that makes me mad sometimes, but this video was made with respect, you have my like lol
Omg same, I try to stay away from them cause they’re always hating on my faves but this one was really respectful and good, really appreciated it and I agree with almost everything, great video
Ikr I only watch them super rarely because it starts with "this is just my opinion stay respectful" but then they go off attacking idols, that they're untalented, don't deserve to be an idol or how some songs were "flops" and that their opinions are "FACTS" and "TEA"
OMGGG SAME. IM LIKE FUCK NOW I HAVE TO WRITE A WHOLE PROJECT FOR THIS DUMBASS TO UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS NOT AN UNPOPULAR KPOP OPINION. ITS ACTUALLY AN OFFENSIVE THING THAT YOU SHOULD NEVER SAY TO ANYONE
Unpopular opinion: when someone starts stanning a group after listening to their most popular song , it’s fine. For example: I’ve seen some armys attacking others for stanning BTS after listening to DNA and there’s nothing wrong with that. I don’t see why anyone would do that.
Wawastylees Totally agree! DNA was *literally* my first song that got me into BTS (like around late 2017 is when I became an army) and SO many armys at my school came for me when I started getting into them.
It makes no sense to be mad about it bc popular songs get promoted more and the likelihood of people hearing them is increased, so of course some are gonna hear it and become interested... Like what do they expect...
@@sarsh8238 lol do people not know how interests works? It takes at least one thing to pique your curiosity and before long, you're delving deeper into that subject.
run away by txt is one of the most original kpop songs and concepts I have seen in a long time and the whole album is fantastic, also I think they don't get the recognition they deserve
Ikr!!! The whole TDC:Magic was gold. The concept of Roller Coaster was so unique, and the whole album had so many different genres. Like 20cm and Poppin Star were both super different songs, but they both fitted with the album. And ofc, Run Away was a whole bop. It had this magical touch to it, it was awesome.
Omfg thank you. 2nd gen stans can be so toxic, like I see so many being like “if you don’t know the entire history of kpop, you can’t call yourself a kpop fan”. I’m half Indian but I know pretty much nothing about Indian history. Does that make me any less Indian? No. And also, I saw someone commenting on a Mamamoo MV saying, “I used to just stan bts, but now I stan both Mamamoo and bts”. Someone replied with “I don’t think two is enough...” that such bs cause like, you don’t have to like a million groups to be a kpop fan. You don’t even have to like more than one if you want. I can’t stand people like this
Ticklefeather ! This is so true oh my god. 2nd gen stans act as if they’re better than other people just because they stan older groups. Its so dumb. It doesnt matter if you just started listening to k pop or stanned since the beginning, it doesnt make you any less better. Also, I agree with your mamamoo comment that you saw. People dont have to stan like 1 million groups. Are they butthurt that their fav isnt a favorite to the other person or what? I only stan 4 groups (bts, got7, wanna one, and mamamoo) That is plenty for me. It can get chaotic and stressful if you start stanning so many. Theres nothing with stanning one or two groups. Whether you’ve been with k pop since the beginning of its time, or you just started listening today, in the end we all like k pop. Sorry for my rant, it just that the k pop community pisses me off sometimes.
But y'all need to acknowledge the fact that they actually paved the way for groups, especially girl groups today are like based on older groups, I agree we can be really rude sometimes but chile-
I agree with the BlackPink one soooo muchhh. YG doesn’t give a shit about fans because they know that no matter how long it takes for a comeback they will still be making hella money from it. Blinks need to wake tf up and do something about it if they genuinely want a change. I know they want to break RUclips record or album sales but it’s not always that important. If you deprive YG of what it it’s only care is then maybe they will change a bit
LovelySeungyeon I don’t understand how YG doesn’t see that they could be making wayyyy more than they do off of BlackPink if they promoted them and put more time into things. Also I feel like their hate would decrease a whole bunch because nobody would have anything to complain about anymore. YG is bringing down the reputation of BlackPink with the whole fashion and dance issues they have had. If they put more time into things BlackPink would have even more popularity and less hate.
CECE LIZ , thats literally what we all be thinking. He’s just ruining his company and his artists. I just feel sorry for the new girl group he is going to debut(if he even does it after all the lies)
I agree so much with you, I have tried so many times to actually make Yg notice the problems but Obviously I think it's because with international fans our opinions won't matter so I think it's really up to the K-blinks but I still try my best to get his attention if you get where I'm saying. I love those girls with all my heart and they truly deserve better
xXLOVE MAZEXx IKR! Like everytime BTS have a comeback, some kpop stans always have something to brag about just to annoy the ARMYs and if ARMYs starts to fight back they be acting like the victim!!
@@cherryespinosa18 fr we never not even once start a a trend of hate towards other groups at all do you remember when K-pop Stan trend the #Armykickoutofkpop or something like that when we didn't do anything that day and when we start the #Armykickoutofkpopparty we be being delusional I can't with the double moral of some people
Many 2nd Gen stans: "You don't know what kpop was like" "Kpop used to be so much better" "You know nothing about kpop" Please, let us be. Just because you got into kpop before us doesn't mean you're better that us.
Those stans are just being toxic I guess, since the latest generations are gaining more popularity and views. I'm already into kpop since 2009 (I'm 20 now) and I just always support every group there is in the industry. And what I think of kpop is music, not a competition.
Idk If this opinion is even unpopular: I'm an army. Like I adore bts and I could talk about them 24/7 BUT when I comment under a not bts or even kpop related video I feel so uncomfortable when someone is like "ohh you're army!" Like yeah I am. Thats obvious but please don't do this. This only annoys other people who start hating on kpop stans
What now days kpop fans don’t know is that when BTS became popular outside Asia the kpop market blew 99,8% to all countries. And all kpop groups that time all gained monthly 1,8million new fans, before it was only 120k. So that person that commented “ohh you’re army”, only knows about her/his group because of BTS somehow!
I am an army myself but i also cringe when i see people commenting ‘how many army here’ and something like that on a video which is not even k-pop related
Alison Griezmen what I hate most, is when I give my opinion to another subject that dosent regard BTS. Like I also like EXO, and if I say something nice, exo fans will say “ohh you’re and army”. Like in a arrogant way.
About the visual thing... some artists are put in groups specifically because of their popularity or their visuals. This next part sounds awful but it’s all about marketing. The korean industry is super picky about visuals and if you have a group of people that (are not in reality ugly at all) but don’t fit the korean standards it can lean towards hate and dislike towards the group, but if you add in that one trainee (even if they aren’t talented) it will up the groups status. Not my personal opinion but the reality of kpop marketing strategies. Not all kpop idols are talented. Obviously the visual position itself can be degrading for the other members but also companies tend to promote the visual with ads and magazines to get the group more well known through their visuals which will get the group more recognized. For example Chaeyeon from DIA is the center and visual and it’s promoted the most and DIA gains popularity from that. Doesn’t mean she didn’t work hard as a trainee, but so they can use that korean standard member to put their group out into the public. This is more towards smaller label groups as bigger groups don’t need as much promoting through other stuff besides their already established popularity.
CECE LIZ , Thank you for your explanation❤️! I actually don’t have a problem with a member only getting in a group because of their visual, cuz that can really boost up a groups popularity, if they are from a small company. But why does Visual have to be a position.
Jin from BTS got put in visual, even tho he is not the best looking in the groups (by official visual people). I hate the position, it shouldn’t be there, but again, someone like Jin would never been in BTS if he didn’t get that role.
i agree. 2nd gen stans literally ALWAYS say “bigbang/shinee/any other 2nd gen group paved the way”. and their always the ones saying “bts is overrated”
I’m a 2nd gen Stan and I kinda understand what your saying but that’s not every 2nd gen Stan I do think they helped paved the way but newer groups also add on with the BTS is over rated everyone should have their own opinion but I personally think they deserve all the fame because they are amazing performers

as a 2nd gen stan whos first group was BTS, i am sorry and i think, that THEY ALL PAVED THE WAY IN THEIR OWN FUCKING WAYS WHY DO PEOPLE COMPARE WHAT THEY DID TO CHANGE THE INDUSTRY? like bitch they all did something ok comeon
Unpopular opinion: almost all music videos in kpop are repetitive. Some aesthetic shots and then some clips of the artists performing the choreo is starting to make me bored. Music videos with a real narrative are way more interesting for me, like gfriend “crossroads”, BTS “ON” and straykids “even a fool knows”
Yea yess I agree with you I actually really like Twice, Blackpink, BTS, Itzy, Red Velvet and TXT's music videos they are really good also I really like their music videos
This happens a lot with groups that aren't from the big3 + BigHit. Like Momoland, Saturday, this type of groups have the same MV's over and over. The same scenes with colorful rooms or some short like that. I really like when they tell a story or there's actually something going on instead of seeing a bunch of asian people moving their mouths in front of a camera, I don't care if it makes sense or not, just tell me something. Also there are some groups like Loona, Dreamcatcher and TXT that have awesome MV's and are really entertaining to watch. Literally Loona's teasers look like trailers for a movie.
Sometimes stories are well hidden in music videos and you need to do a deeper understanding and interpretation on the music video and lyrics so you can get the real symbolism and imagery out of it
As a 2nd Gen Stan, I’m so upset at the amount of us that harass newer fans. I’m so happy at all the new groups and the barriers they’ve been able to break and love all the new rookies songs! I’ve been a fan since about 2009.
Yea I remember an old TVXQ mv which was “Mirotic”, I saw a comment that said all new kpop fans should go to jail..It just hurted me because I’m kind of a new kpop stan even though I’ve been a kpop stan since May 2019, but even so..it’s just disappointing. However thats just one 2nd gen stan that said such things, so I’m pretty sure most of you 2nd Gen Stans are really nice! As an example, i have an older sister thats a 2nd gen stan and she still accepts me stanning 3rd gen, 4th gen, or 2nd gen groups! Overall, I appreciate you being supportive and respecting of other generations and thank you!♡
I've been a fan since about 2010, and agree. Like, I understand that the 4th gen music might not be for many 2nd gen stans, but that gives them no excuse to openly express their hate.
I kinda just grew up with kpop so I don't really know what to call myself, cuz I remember all the 2nd gen stuff but I was I guess too young to stan groups and get into the fandom. But the first group I stanned was twice back in 2017 when I was in year 7. Anyways I didn't really know others actually hate on ppl who get into kpop later or like 3rd and 4th gen groups/music. It makes no sense to me. I loved the 2nd gen stuff when I was little and as I got older new songs and groups came out and I like them too. Everything is always evolving, you can love things from the past but that doesn't mean you hate on the present cuz it's different or changing.
This is so true. They also think that 2nd gen groups are the best when in fact many 3rd and 4th gen groups are better than some 2nd gen groups. And what really pisses me off is when they say things like, "no gg can surpass bla bla's achievements, stage presence, and talents" or whatever when Mamamoo, Blackpink, Twice, Red Velvet, and many more ggs exist. THEY REALLY PISSED ME OFF OMG

Unpopular opinion: Shipping is Stupid, Shipping idols as friends is fine but when it’s saying that they are meant to be is a whole different story. Example: BLACKTAN, Shipping Blackpink and BTS is just gross, If they look at each other for 2 seconds people will start saying things like “They are a real couple” or “They are actually dating and you can’t do anything about it”. Idols don’t like being shipped with other idols too, and also Shipping them with their members is also wrong. Like yes, they’re close friends but sometimes it goes to far. Taehyung even said that he doesn’t like being shipped with Jungkook. Now I understand if they’re dating but if they’re just friends than that’s another story. I don’t know if Idols have a crush on a Idol but when they say that they don’t like being shipped than don’t do it
Tata Tae SOOOOO TRUE! I followed kpop since 2008, I back then in award shows idols would react more to each other, and look and smile to each other! Now know one looks at each other or reach, because kpop have 50% good fans and 50% TOXIC fans! It’s disgusting

@@queencutie3804 i never said you didn't have the right to say so. unpopular opinion: i really like itzy and i think they’re super talented dancers and they work really hard but they just don’t interest me as singers honestly. like none of them are bad at singing but you can tell from listening to them that they’re dancers more than they are singers. that’s why i always choose to watch their dance practices and stages instead of just listening to their songs.
I was mostly a 2nd generation Stan until txt came in lmao (I’m addicted to them) As a 2nd gen. Stan, I mostly only listen to the songs, I like the older songs of kpop more I guess.
My unpopular opinion: People better stop about saying the second generation was better, because yeah, they have a lot of charisma. But the psychological treatment was awful ⏤I could said worst than now⏤ and many only stan the big three groups, making it difficult to really seen fans that love and support groups out of them. Edit: Mistake in orthography.
It’s ok for stans to steam but it’s when they say to everyone else to stream that’s when it gets annoying like we all don’t have the time and dedication to stream all the time
Same! I hate it when they guilt-trip. Who's gonna give my entrance exam on my behalf if I sit all day streaming? You? No, right? Then get out of my face💀
exactly! i've been told so many times to stream xxx song, and even if it's my ults i won't contribute like a hundred views to it. i have better things to do that just sit there and stream for i- don't- know- how- many- hours. i have a life to live too, and kpop groups aren't the reason i'm alive.
Stephanie Calderwood I agree, they pressure you and that kills the joy, it’s hard to enjoy the song when your own fandom keeps telling you stream for multiple hours. So,e fans like me prefer to only buy the physical album. Streaming is a waste of time to me.
as a 2nd generation stan, i kind of felt a bit hurt when people say that we're annoying or that we hate on 3rd and 4th generation groups. i see this a lot and i understand why, because it's human nature to focus more on the negativity than the positivity, but from my experience, there's not that many toxic ones. i certainly agree that a kpop fan doesn't have to enjoy, or even know every song from before third generation but i wish there was equal respect for both sides. i might call myself a second generation stan but i certainly enjoy third and fourth generation songs and groups too. i just wish that the hate would stop both ways and that we can all respect the different eras.
Thanks for saying that. I agree with you.I felt bad when I heard it. I would call myself a 2nd gen stan too with my ults being suju and snsd. I, of course want people to check out their mvs but I am not delusional: Newer groups are the ones that get more fans these days. Because obviously older groups are not that active anymore. I still love them and I am sure a few years from now there will be people telling newer fans how 2020 kpop or 2018 kpop etc. was better than the kpop in the future as well. That's just normal. Also, on a slighter note: Are there even that many 2nd gen stans left? I think we are not that big in numbers compared to all the fans that are coming into the fandoms atm that one can easily ignore 2nd gen fans (and especially the toxic ones) 😂
omg i literally never see toxic 2nd gen fans. it’s so annoying cos i’m a 3rd gen but i have such a. deep respect and admiration for the older groups so when ppl attack y’all i’m like “bitch where?”. if anything it’s the 3rd and 4th gen fans spreading negativity cos they r so worried about getting their faves to the top they lose focus on what’s rlly important.
I’m a second gen and it’s really annoying when they say that because my favorite group is skz, but I also love the music I grow up with witch was second gen music, I will say I do get a little frustrated when the newer generation is like this group is better than that group but I also respect what they say. I do hope they respect us and we also respect them kpop is forever changing it’s not going to stay the same so.
Unpopular opinion: stop using the “unpopular opinion” trend as an excuse to shit on groups. (This isn’t towards the person who made the video I’m saying this in general)
armys are fine only being armys. but if you only stan bts, don’t call yourself a kpop fan. if you only like bts, you are a bts fan, not a kpop fan. this goes for each group, not only bts. edit: some of you don’t seem to get my point. let me explain it like this, let’s say you like cheese flavored chips, but don’t eat anything that contains cheese other than chips. can you say that you like cheese? no. because you don’t eat anything with cheese except chips. which means that you don’t know or like how different types of cheese tastes. so you like chips that happen to be cheese flavored. hope you understand me now. edit: some of y’all are trying so hard to not get my point lmao. it’s not that hard. you may disagree, but don’t act like i didn’t point out the things you are responding with. i explained my point, if you can’t get it, move on. edit: it’s official, im going crazy.
Kyle Pomare i don’t decide who is a kpop fan and who is not. my point is of you only like and stan one specific kpop group, and are not into any other group at all, you are only the fan of that group which happens to be a kpop group.
@Kyle Pomare I think that se is trying to say that if you only LISTEN to only one group and not listening to any other, (you don't need to STAN other groups to be a kpop fan, but you need to LISTEN to more that one group to be a kpop fan) then you are a fan of that group but not a kpop fan.
Bts is kpop. Every kpop group is kpop and if you like them then it means you like kpop. (example) If I only listen to Three Days Grace does that mean I don’t listen to rock music ? No. Because Three Days Grace is rock music.
Only Army are called Only Army, many are not interested in other groups, in fact they say "I don't like Kpop, only bts" separating themselves from the kpop stan label. so I don't think they called themselves that way.
i feel like kpop positions are so useless. if one member is called a visual the rest might get insecure, if one member is called main vocal lead vocals may think they aren't good enough, if you are a main dancer you might think this is your only noticeable talent. Like can't members share parts where their voice suits best, i'll just use ateez as an example, yes he is the main vocal but does that mean he needs to have EVERY high vocal in every single song, there are 5 mf vocalists why does one get it each time, yes his voice is strong but can't the others give it a try? love him tho.
as an atiny, i think it might be because jongho was able to pull all the high notes and hard parts the best - i don't like calling someone the best vocalist but can i say he was the strongest for me when they debuted? after some time, i noticed other vocalists shine more. for example seonghwa, i really see his improvement. wooyoung doesn't still have a lot of lines but for example in 'mist' he showed he can pull some crazy high vocals. i think the guys needed some time to improve and they slowly start showing us what they can do. this comment was messy but i hope you understand my point XD
I know, I think it's like limiting someone skills. For example, a main vocal can't rap in a song because he/she is a main vocal, and a main rapper can't sing in a song because he/she is a main rapper. Like duh, just let the idols do whatever they want and let them experience other things so they can improve their skills.
I agree with the visual part, but as for other positions such as main vocal and lead vocal, I think that is perfectly fine. There is nothing wrong with someone if another person has more ability than them. Doesn’t mean they are less talented.
2nd gen stans are crazy asf like the other day I went to watch a BigBang Mama performance and all I see in the comments is Vips trashing BTS saying they’re gay and how BB is the true kings of Kpop and when I said y’all need to chill out and stop shitting on BTS and 3rd gen groups they attacked me
How did u find those comments? I only see stuff like "I need a comeback" and other usual comments Btw I'm a 2 gen Stan and still like 3th or 4th gen groups, because why does everybody thinks, 2 gen stans only care about the age of a group?- If u like it, Stan it, if not, then don't stan them. It's simple
Nagham Kareem those comments are mostly prominent on BigBang music vids Like You never see Army trashing other groups on BTS music vids but I feel like the hate is coming form mostly 2nd gen boy group stands and Idols like BB,2pm,Some SJ fans like you always see the 2nd gen girl group members like Tiffany,Sunmi, Tayeon etc saying how BTS pave the way for groups in America to be taken seriously and they did relatively well in America but like Jay Park is throwing shade towards BTS cause they did what he failed to do
Ramel Thompson taeyeon said that? omg when I never saw that. I only know Sunmi did. And Jay Park didn’t throw shade at bts (at least I didn’t see any, if he did please tell) all he said was bb is the biggest kpop group that’s not shade
champagnepapi • saying BB is the biggest Kpop group is a diss to EXO and BTS who are well more know the BB Jay should of said BB was the biggest kpop group of his time but the fact that BTS and bighit are grammy attendees and members of the Grammy committee when Jay is signed to Jayz and been an artist for so long and still isn’t recognized shows that he is salty
Ramel Thompson let me correct myself I just looked it up, he never said biggest, he said best. You clearly didn’t know what jay park said if you blindly agreed when I said ‘biggest’ and to think a group is better than the other is an opinion with no shade. Like saying oh hey “Beyoncé is the best singer in the world” if you take offense to that then you’re clearly itching for a fight because it’s nothing but a harmless opinion. He said bigbang is the best group in terms of stage presence and etc. it is not shade because it is a known fact bigbang are the kings of stage presence when it comes to idols.
Unpopular Opinions: (not really but idc lol) 1. I didnt like Kick It by NCT127, they’ve had better songs but this one wasnt it. 2. Map of The Soul 7 is so good. It’s definitely a step up from Persona. 3. I really liked bwl, i dont know why so many people (including armys) didnt like it. Its such a bop and I never get bored of it. 4. I dont like any of the new rookie groups. I have nothing against them, groups like itzy and txt or ateez arent my thing. 5. The “stan loona” joke is getting old and annoying. I see everywhere. 6. People need to stop bashing bts for an all kill daesang sweep. Its not their fault that their music is good and liked by armys and people who arent. 7. People also have to stop getting mad at bts or armys or wtv for bwl winning soty. Yes, fancy was a bop, I loved it, but in the end its about what song did well on the charts and who got the most votes. Armys are a big fanbase so obviously bts would win. Bwl did better than fancy on the charts so dont get mad. Us armys worked hard to make bts win, try harder to make your favs win next time but dont hate on bts. Not their fault they have a big fanbase. They have a big one for a reason. 8. I also liked ON, its so good, the choreo, they beat, everything is chefs kiss. 9. Jyp needs to promote their boy groups way more. They suck at it. 10. Got7 is SO underrated, they need to get the recognition they deserve. Its sad. Thanks for letting me rant, ik these aren’t unpopular but i just wanna put them out there. Edit: Some of you are telling me that “stop telling small fandoms to work harder” I think this got misunderstood. What I meant is that apps where you can vote more than once that thats how you and your fandom can work hard to do. Like you could spread the word on twitter or instagram or anywhere and plan a time to vote. How do you think armys vote so much? Armys spread the word and thats how BTS wins. It doesnt matter if you have a small fandom, you can still team up and vote at the same time or spread the word because Im positive that not every person in your fandom knows about it. Edit 2: Sorry, GOT7 isn’t underrated, they’re under appreciated, thank you to those who corrected me :)
@@AdrianaS03 No need to wonder why some people don't like BwL because that's just how it is. Not everyone will like the same songs. I don't like BwL that much either and honestly prefered Fancy or KTL but I didn't really mind if it won SOTY either.
I hate the whole fight about whos king and queen of kpop. Theres no such title, each group leaves their own individual mark on the industry and people; that cant be compared to another group. Theres the BTS of Kpop, the BigBang of Kpop, the Blackpink of Kpop, and so on. Theres no need to compare their impacts, they all hold their own unique impacts and marks on their fans and the industry. 💜
@Baesuzysplanet I don't think you should generalise most army's as not letting BTS breathe just because they interact with the oppsite gender. All of the army's I know or have met don't really care about stuff like that, we just want to support our boys
armys are way too toxic when it comes to protecting bts and blinks are toxic for literally starting fanwars for no apparent reason, poking armys and then calling them toxic, doxxing, giving death threats etc when someone criticises the girls or call them out for issues like CA and so on. armys are now pretty much chill except for a small amount but blinks are on a whole new level.i am an army and was a blink so im saying all this from experience . blinks literally gave death threats when i said i dont like hylt when i was a blink myself like wtf .
Really? I wonder what videos you’re watching then, because under the majority of the artists I watch, it’s just praise for the video or the artists. Other groups are rarely ever mentioned, if they are it’s something to the effect of, “_ group did a cover of this song and now I’m watching this!” It’s probably better to just enjoy the videos you want to watch and not actively seek out negative comments. 😊
@@CellarDoor34 I don't seek out any negative comments lol I saw them and obviously they do praise their faves but there are those negative comments too with quite a lot of replies starting a whole conversation on it
This is so true. I recently watched bigbang videos because I missed them and when I went to the comment section, it was filled with hate comments against bts
KPOP fans are cringe af in general and thats why I feel like non kpop fan hate us because of weird stuff like bias wrecker wrecker, crackheads and overreacting in music video like bruh. Like you see your bias in a mv and talk about their history and say stuff like im gonna cry rn. But the most cringey thing ever for me is fans shipping even the same gender. Is it only me or its because im a boy.
Pizz , I feel like thats non gamers opinion on gamers, non otukus opinion on otakus and non soccerlovers opinion on soccerlovers. Like every fandom has cringe shit😂
i think shipping is light hearted and fun but some fans do take it too seriously, they over analyze stuff and are convinced members are deeply in love which is really creepy. not all kpop fans are like what you described, its probably mostly younger fans, but i understand what you mean
@@qi2313 well yes, I think shipping can be fun, but can be really dangerous and annoying at times, especially when the certain idols are having a real relationship, those shippers will start attacking or disapproving the significant other of the idols.
im a second gen stan, i stan f(x) the most, but, some second gen stans CAN BE SO TOXIC. like yes second gen groups are good, so are the new groups. okay just because your group is more popular than a second gen group doesn’t mean i won’t recognise it. all kpop groups deserve recognition and I’m not like them toxic 2nd gen stans. 2nd gen stans consist of: (a) enjoying the golden age of kpop before all these drama and rumours became things (b) saying that their 2nd gen fav is > everything
Opinion (popular or not, idk): Companies should have UNDER AGE LIMITS. Companies should have a under age limits for their trainees when they enter, they should also have a under age limit to when the trainee should be revealed as a trainee (ex: Ella Gross, she is not even a teenager yet and YGE revealed her as a trainee) and should have a under age limit for when they debut
Samarra Rodriguez I think people training at a young age is fine bc that’s they’re choice and family’s choice as well. but maybe treating them a little differently since they r suer young like having them train for less time and not revealing them to the public until like 13-15 years old (something like that).
This. They can be trained since they are like 10 in my opinion (like Jihyo). But at that age the training shouldn't be hard. It should be like a little bit more intense of a dance/sing/act/rap class. And they should live with their family and go to school normally. When they are 14, the training should start to get intense, but they still need to study and go with their family if they want. They should debut at least as late teenagers or young adults.
unpopular opinion:i prefer 4th generation groups instead of 3rd generation like i only stan exo, bts, mamamoo from 3rd generation and the rest 4th generation:)
@@okaylol764 I actually stan more than 90000000000000000 groups but somehow I am more into BTS The connection I feel with them is something that cannot be repeated
I prefer the 3rd Generation because I don't know...I feel a stronger connection. I feel like 3rd generation does a better job at delivering a performance rather than just..performaning. I don't know how to put it. Plus I care about vocals rather than dance and the 3rd generation are crazy strong in both rather than 4th generation. 4th generation does have a lot of potential though, it just a different audience they are targeted. I also feel that the need to be popular has trickled into the type of music produced all around.
It's funny because multis bashed you for being army only, while I was bashed for being a multi. There are really a bunch of people out there saying than if you stan more than one group, you're cheating on them and not fully supporting them. Wow. Also, that solo stan opinion? That's what I like to call "a good tea". Finally someone who understands (although I'm not a solo stan, but I don't support the hate on them either).
Aww you came too hard for 2nd gen fans, I agree some of them are toxic and act superior but most of them 'us' struggled a lot when the new wave of Kpop fans hit. You see how your life is now kpop, how you joined this huge Fandom and your life style has changed, it's a whole new world that you got yourself into and there's so much happening you feel part of it. Well we went through that same history, for a decade we were part of a different kpop, different era, different feels. Then everything changed, and we felt left out because here we have a new cool image of kpop and the new fans that came along dismissed all the hard work and basically the existence of old kpop. For them, kpop didn't exist until they discovered it and it felt unfair to us, like all the valuable moments we shared with our idols and all their accomplishments were overlooked and not acknowledged. Things are better now that kpop is not that alien thing, you don't know where to start with. Fans have more time to look back at old groups if they are interested, or understand how the industry works and respect idols of all ages (there's still a minority that doesn't get that tho). But we have to be honest, when kpop became huge new fans were so rude, it was a nightmare for us, at every article of a second gen group there were comments like "disband, no one knows you" "who is this? We don't care just disband" and if you mention the achievements of that group they would make fun of you and call them flops. Imagine if now a new age hits and the new fans would credit their favs for the existence of Kpop, would be-little blackpink/twice /idle/bts/seventeen...etc achievements, wouldn't that make you angry? I think there should be a balance between the two generations, acknowledge and respect the past and support the present, for both.
Omg I love this comment I think everybody should enjoy their groups and music But u can't deny the fact, that groups like BigBang, Shinee, WonderGirls,... had a huge impact on Kpop and acting like only the newer groups are important, because they are famous NOW is not good
I agree with that beauty thing because Irene's talent are very underrated compared to her visual. I meam some do not even now that she is a good dancer
My unpopular opinion: 1. Rosé is the best vocalist in BP 2. Jennie isn't bad vocalist 3. Line distribution doesn't mean to be fair because every member got their own position. I hate how main vocalists in 4th generation kpop always become overshadowed because their lines are the same with vocalist. 4. I'm tired award shows nowadays just like performing songs with much playback + dance break. They should do something different like freestyling rap or flexing vocals like 2nd generation used to do 5. The choruses that done by all members like SM do should be used more because not only make the line distribution fairer but also to give center parts for the member who didn't get many lines
my opinions to your opinions: 1. sure, some of them not all of them. all groups are kings (and queens) 2. it's getting better... (i hope) hashtags ain't doing anything tho lmao 3. exactly, let them stream. if west artist fans can do it, then we can do it. karen back off: let fans support their faves... 4. it's based off how you treat those in the kpop community, from other stans to the idols themselves. okay? okay. 5. ye 6. positions are stupid in general (e.g.--> miss a) 7. the companies are at fault. 8. in conclusion, just leave army's alone. 9. everyone has a personality. bro?? just leave idols alloooonne 10. I like jyp's thing: a three year dating-ban (but jyp honey stop overworking your idols) 11. YES. YES. I-- YES. MARK'S PREVIOUS. BUT YES. 12. solo stans are literally just stans but for one person, but it doesn't mean they can disrespect the rest of the group. 13. stan loona or else lol 14. as long as you compare respectfully. constructive cristism is perfectly fine. 15. PERIODTT 16. feel special was so... personal and amazing when it came to the girls and the messages behind it.
@@thek-nerd3143 agreed 😔 the position "visual" is like telling that one member they're only good cus they're goodlooking and the rest of the members they're not

The only reason why I *dislike* some of the 2nd generation stans, cuz they always have something to complain about 3rd and 4th generations, they're like "4th generation groups are the worst in kpop" Like sweetie if you don't like them, you can leave, no one is forcing you to listen to them and then hate on them and then praise 2nd generation groups, we all know they're iconic, we don't need to bring one group down to praise another *Didn't use the world hate cuz it's too big, I prefer disliking stuff*
I'm a kpop fan since 2009 (I'm 20 now), and yeah some of the 2nd gen fans don't know how to evolve, like why can't they support the new gens while doing the same for the 2nd gen idols. I don't find it hard at all to support idols from diff gen.

A total honest and practical person and i love it. Thank u so much fam💜 not only for bts but just in general u were more mature about those opinions
I have insane respect for you, most "unpopular kpop opinions" are just people trying to cover up bashing the groups they don't like by labeling it as their opinion. Yours were so honest and relatable with no hate or shade. I respect that.
The first one I totally agree with. Coming from a 2nd generation fan, I go back to old Girls Generation MV just for fun and go to the comments and I see a ton of them saying "Imagine calling yourself a Kpop fan and not knowing who Girls Generation is" it just gets annoying even for me to hear and read. I see people even saying stuff like "Back when Kpop was good" yeah sure that era was great but that doesnt mean you can just hate on 3rd or 4th generation groups. And yes I know you have an opinion but keep that opinion to yourself. 2nd gen. Fans like me will forever stan the legends but I also stan new groups like I love TXT, ITZY, ATEEZ, Everglow,,, and my favorite group in Kpop is Seventeen. It doesn't matter if they are a new kpop fan, it's all the same industry.
I literally agree with u on the 11th one!!!! I mean like some people literally hate and just call it their "Unpopular opinion " I mean if the entire world was like that we wouldnt be able to breathe....
Well SNSD are one of the groups that made the hallyu wave of really experimental songs so you can't deny their impact. But omg 2ng Gen stans really need to calm down with these stuff
*MY UNPOPULAR OPINIONS* •Even if I don’t like YG sometimes, I will continue buying merch from Blackpink. •YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STAN MILLIONS OF GROUPS TO BE A “GOOD” KPOP STAN (I only stan Blackpink, BTS, Twice, Itzy, and Red Velvet) •Zimzalabim was really good and even the clothes were good •The visual position is insulting to everyone in the group (dismisses talent to the idol and disses the others) •You stanning second gen groups doesn’t make you special •Dating bans are actually good (dating can distract idols, but if they can handle it that’s fine. But if they’re old enough and mature, go ahead) •It’s easier to stan girl groups than boy groups •Comparing groups in a good way isn’t bad. Groups will ALWAYS be compared. It can get annoying when you compare elder groups like (2ne1 to Blackpink) •Feel Special will ALWAYS be one of my favorites by them (it makes me cry because of the lyrics) •Cute concepts are amazing and can be better than mature ones or fierce ones •YG needs to start helping idols with scandals. Especially when they’re innocent.
I honestly miss those days in kpop where appreciating the songs regardless of the group are more important than breaking records just to prove something
Thanks for all the comments🖤don’t forget to follow my instagram(scorpioseung), I recently made it so I can interact with you easier and more.

But if people don't like something like music , they aren't going to keep listening just because it's under this or that company.

YES
Yep because of the dating ban the fans think that they can date the idols which is literally next to impossible.
something that gets on my nerves is when some k-pop stans keep going to random videos and say “stan insert-random-k-pop-idol(s)”, when the videos aren’t even related to the group/idol(s) or even k-pop in general. i’m a hardcore k-pop stan but forcing people to stan groups are kind of toxic.
ikr even in dolan twins dad death, they say 'he will not have died if he stanned loona' and i was disgusted

Enah , thats so true. Like what Jungkook wrote about in My time.
Hey I get your point about how idols shouldn't be debuting at young ages but I feel like the argument "idols are too young nowadays" is kinda irrelevant when quite a few 2nd gen idols debuted in their teens as well
@@jadie3914 I'm talking about nowadays because I see young idols debut in front of my eyes. If I said this then, my point would still stand.

I like 2 gen because I like the groups and not because I was early into kpop (I'm just since 2016)
the only thing i can say to them is:
_"OK BOOMER"_

Those stans are just being toxic I guess, since the latest generations are gaining more popularity and views. I'm already into kpop since 2009 (I'm 20 now) and I just always support every group there is in the industry. And what I think of kpop is music, not a competition.
And snsd stans dragging Twice calling them copy queens and it's always "snsd has more presence than twice" "snsd can sing unlike twice" etc. 🤢
Idk If this opinion is even unpopular:
I'm an army. Like I adore bts and I could talk about them 24/7 BUT when I comment under a not bts or even kpop related video I feel so uncomfortable when someone is like "ohh you're army!"
Like yeah I am. Thats obvious but please don't do this. This only annoys other people who start hating on kpop stans
cinnamcn, I get what you mean. But people really get excited when they see other Armys who have similar “hobbies” that aren’t kpop related.
Ikr ikr ikr I am also super insecure bc I don't wanna be the reason non-kpop stans get annoyed or something
And Eunwoo from Astro

This is the first unpopular opinion video that doesn't hate on TXT, thank you ♥️
Unpopular opinion: almost all music videos in kpop are repetitive. Some aesthetic shots and then some clips of the artists performing the choreo is starting to make me bored. Music videos with a real narrative are way more interesting for me, like gfriend “crossroads”, BTS “ON” and straykids “even a fool knows”
Even though they're not title tracks, the MVs for Magic Island and Nap of A Star by TXT are good too! BigHit MVs in general are great.
Yea yess I agree with you I actually really like Twice, Blackpink, BTS, Itzy, Red Velvet and TXT's music videos they are really good also I really like their music videos
Ikr. The ones with stories are super cool and fun to watch. Like I Need U by Bts and What Is Love by Twice.

The only time I got angry as a "second gen Stan" was when someone said that all second gen music is bad. Excuse me, but just because you don't like it doesn't mean that it's flat out bad.
The other time was when someone said that second gen groups are not important cause they ArEn't As SucCesSfULL as BTS. Jeez this is not a competition. Please enjoy your music instead of breaking down other groups.
That being said, some second gen stans (not all, only the annoying loud ones) are the worst freaking gatekeepers, jeeeeeezzzzzz. No, it doesn't matter that you don't know when the biggest groups debuted. Give people a warm welcome instead of shunning them.
Yes, 3rd and 4rd gen rookies are freaking MONSTERS! Ateez, Loona, Itzy, Dreamcatcher, there are so many good groups out there! Y'all just salty that the world is moving on.
Kpop is amazing and we should embrace everyone who stans it (expect from toxic Stan Twitter accounts, they are the worst)
K that's it, I just wanted to vent
Plus y'all, we didn't have kpop RUclips accounts BaCk iN mY dAy, y'all are so much fun, I love it
AndYouWillBeWithMe , I love this energy❤️You are such a nice person! And I too hate when people disrespect other groups.
@@LovelySeungyeon thank you for your nice comment 😊
@@AndYouWillBeWithMe Omg, thanks, you're a gem! I *_really really_* like CL (I'm almost becoming a GZB) and when I go to the comments they're always sh*tting on BLACKPINK and BTS. This shoos newer stans away. Those are the same people who wonder why newer stans don't wanna get to know second gen. Umm, I dunno Karen? Maybe cuz you're hating on them and shoving your superiority complex in their faces?
Bts are late 2nd early 3rd gen rii
Second gen music is like god level but the outfits, hairstyles and most mvs were not it 👁👄👁
i'm a 2nd, 3rd and 4th gen fan, and i am pretty chill about it. However, i think that it's understandable for 2nd gen fans to be pissed when 3rd/4th gen fans disrespect 2nd gen idols, and this happens a lot! Saying they were cringe, mv's sucked, songs weren't as good... This makes me feel bad cuz i feel that newer kpop fans don't appreciate how hard that gen worked for kpop to be recognized around the world. I obviously don't agree with the annoying know-it-all 2nd gen fans, but sometimes i feel like new fans should just take that into account (not saying they should stan 2nd gen groups at all, they can do as they please of course) Let's enjoy music and kpop together! ❤️
I mean I have the right to say a song is terrible, but not shit on the artist. That's exactly how I feel about 90% of second gen music, outfits and videos.
@@queencutie3804 i never said you didn't have the right to say so. I was talking about how newer kpop fans tend to generalize everything about 2nd gen, when they were many groups, with different concepts and songs. But they generalize, since they don't take the time to do their research right. You can say you don't like certain songs or groups, then again it's the same for 3rd and 4th gen groups and concepts. I was asking for respect, not trying to change your music taste.
@@vidyaramchandran1177 sure, people always respect bigbang because they were the biggest for years. But i've heard awful things about shinee, suju, gg, BAP, Beast, BlockB... And let me tell you, even western music videos and concepts were like that at the time. Also, things are still very manufactured in kpop today since the companies own and create almost everything (in most cases, artists don't have a say). So what i'm trying to say is, kpop also evolves trend-wise, so that doesn't make previous generations worse.
just because 2nd gen fans are pressed doesn't mean they get to take it out on the idols. Gatekeeping and demeaning current idols' hard work is not something to be proud of
@@HyLo-rule Totally! But i've never said anything bad about current idols. I LOVE them. The thing i talked about is that i feel sad whenever current idol fans look down on previous generations. And that's ALSO not something to be proud of.
Unpopular K-pop opinion:
Not all K-pop Idols can pull off Aegyo well; Some just look weird and even downright cringey.
For Example: BTS Suga can't pull it off while BTS Jimin can.
Aleena Patrick , I kind of agree that it’s cringeh, but some look very cute when they can’t do it well, like Suga
Aleena Patrick Aegyo is normal here in Korea
I'll put it in this way... No one should be forced to do aegyo but if someone like to do it people should not hate on it either
BTS jhope can actually 😂😂
Suga ia natuarally cute
My unpopular opinion: no song should be called “just noise” maybe they’re to overwhelming for u but saying that is just disrespectful and you are degrading the producers or even the idols work. I see a lot of people saying that X group songs are just noise but the song is edm which is a style like tf if you don’t like that style it’s ok but don’t say it’s noise
BRUH IKR
I guess it's called noise when the instrumental is so high and mixed with the voices just can't go well (I can't give kpop examples I know :c) I don't know how to express it well because I originally speak spanish :(
Luis Angel No te preocupes explícamelo en español uwu
@@mms7900 OH BO1 flskc me emocioné, ah

unpopular opinion: at this point txt isnt even overrated at all, they get so much hate that i see them as "underrated" in a way, they deserve so much better, but then people hate on them for coming from bighit and being "privileged", imo being privileged is having so much more opporunities that you take them for granted and become lazy because of it, txt just got a boost of popularity because they came from bighit/ the same company a bts, that doesnt mean they are "untalented" etc. anyways stan txt for clear skin and subscrive to lovelyseungyeon for dignity
unpopular opinion: i really like itzy and i think they’re super talented dancers and they work really hard but they just don’t interest me as singers honestly. like none of them are bad at singing but you can tell from listening to them that they’re dancers more than they are singers. that’s why i always choose to watch their dance practices and stages instead of just listening to their songs.
For me the only problem with itzy is that they have the same concept
V.I.P Army Blackjack Blink they’ve been around for a year, they will change at some stage just be patient!
"Y'all are failing history class but know which group debut which year" OUCH
I was mostly a 2nd generation Stan until txt came in lmao (I’m addicted to them) As a 2nd gen. Stan, I mostly only listen to the songs, I like the older songs of kpop more I guess.
Jindora the explorer there’s nothing wrong with being a 2nd gen Stan, there’s just many that r very disrespectful towards the newer groups
My unpopular opinion:
People better stop about saying the second generation was better, because yeah, they have a lot of charisma. But the psychological treatment was awful ⏤I could said worst than now⏤ and many only stan the big three groups, making it difficult to really seen fans that love and support groups out of them.
Edit: Mistake in orthography.
It’s ok for stans to steam but it’s when they say to everyone else to stream that’s when it gets annoying like we all don’t have the time and dedication to stream all the time
Stephanie Calderwood. That pretty understandable.
Stephanie Calderwood
I agree, they pressure you and that kills the joy, it’s hard to enjoy the song when your own fandom keeps telling you stream for multiple hours.
Thank you! That "opinion" also hurt me a little. I couldn't enjoy that much the rest of the video because of it.

armys are fine only being armys. but if you only stan bts, don’t call yourself a kpop fan. if you only like bts, you are a bts fan, not a kpop fan. this goes for each group, not only bts.
edit: some of you don’t seem to get my point. let me explain it like this, let’s say you like cheese flavored chips, but don’t eat anything that contains cheese other than chips. can you say that you like cheese? no. because you don’t eat anything with cheese except chips. which means that you don’t know or like how different types of cheese tastes. so you like chips that happen to be cheese flavored. hope you understand me now.
edit: some of y’all are trying so hard to not get my point lmao. it’s not that hard. you may disagree, but don’t act like i didn’t point out the things you are responding with. i explained my point, if you can’t get it, move on.
edit: it’s official, im going crazy.
Denn exactly, thank you
Bts is kpop.
Helin Altin I think it's good that TXT doesn't have positions yet and that BIGHIT is waiting to see who is the best at what.
tru, i dont even think about positions anymore lmao
I know, I think it's like limiting someone skills. For example, a main vocal can't rap in a song because he/she is a main vocal, and a main rapper can't sing in a song because he/she is a main rapper. Like duh, just let the idols do whatever they want and let them experience other things so they can improve their skills.
I agree with the visual part, but as for other positions such as main vocal and lead vocal, I think that is perfectly fine. There is nothing wrong with someone if another person has more ability than them. Doesn’t mean they are less talented.
I couldn't agree more about the visual position. I feel like its kinda degrading and it can make others feel bad about themselves
I’m a simple person, I see txt I click. But I agreed with everything you said. Like nobody has ever understanded me this much
2nd gen stans are crazy asf like the other day I went to watch a BigBang Mama performance and all I see in the comments is Vips trashing BTS saying they’re gay and how BB is the true kings of Kpop and when I said y’all need to chill out and stop shitting on BTS and 3rd gen groups they attacked me
How did u find those comments?
I only see stuff like "I need a comeback" and other usual comments
Btw I'm a 2 gen Stan and still like 3th or 4th gen groups, because why does everybody thinks, 2 gen stans only care about the age of a group?-
If u like it, Stan it, if not, then don't stan them.

2nd gen stans consist of:
(a) enjoying the golden age of kpop before all these drama and rumours became things
(b) saying that their 2nd gen fav is > everything
Opinion (popular or not, idk):
Companies should have UNDER AGE LIMITS.
Companies should have a under age limits for their trainees when they enter, they should also have a under age limit to when the trainee should be revealed as a trainee (ex: Ella Gross, she is not even a teenager yet and YGE revealed her as a trainee) and should have a under age limit for when they debut
I feel like the age limit for trainees should be that they are not under 14 or 15 and idols should be that they aren't under 20 or something idk

Omg I love this comment
I think everybody should enjoy their groups and music
But u can't deny the fact, that groups like BigBang, Shinee, WonderGirls,... had a huge impact on Kpop and acting like only the newer groups are important, because they are famous NOW is not good

Yes!!
Nah 2nd gen stans are the type of ppl who trend hate hashtags on rookies. That is inexcusable
@@veryrare9161 I've never seen a 2nd gn do that but ok
I agree with that beauty thing because Irene's talent are very underrated compared to her visual. I meam some do not even now that she is a good dancer
@@barbzen4267 she still is to me lol
*CLC are the kings of kpop*
My unpopular opinion:
1. Rosé is the best vocalist in BP
2. Jennie isn't bad vocalist
3. Line distribution doesn't mean to be fair because every member got their own position. I hate how main vocalists in 4th generation kpop always become overshadowed because their lines are the same with vocalist.
4. I'm tired award shows nowadays just like performing songs with much playback + dance break. They should do something different like freestyling rap or flexing vocals like 2nd generation used to do
5. The choruses that done by all members like SM do should be used more because not only make the line distribution fairer but also to give center parts for the member who didn't get many lines
Your opinion Made me subscribe your channel you seem like such a humble kpop fan and your opinion aren't hate comments ❤
bbyuta 127 ,omg thank you so much🥺
I did the same 😆
my opinions to your opinions:
1. sure, some of them not all of them. all groups are kings (and queens)
2. it's getting better... (i hope) hashtags ain't doing anything tho lmao
3. exactly, let them stream. if west artist fans can do it, then we can do it. karen back off: let fans support their faves...
4. it's based off how you treat those in the kpop community, from other stans to the idols themselves. okay? okay.
5. ye
6. positions are stupid in general (e.g.--> miss a)
7. the companies are at fault.
8. in conclusion, just leave army's alone.
9. everyone has a personality. bro?? just leave idols alloooonne
10. I like jyp's thing: a three year dating-ban (but jyp honey stop overworking your idols)
11. YES. YES. I-- YES. MARK'S PREVIOUS. BUT YES.
12. solo stans are literally just stans but for one person, but it doesn't mean they can disrespect the rest of the group.
13. stan loona or else lol
14. as long as you compare respectfully. constructive cristism is perfectly fine.
15. PERIODTT
16. feel special was so... personal and amazing when it came to the girls and the messages behind it.
Han-Han Bui , thats why I love feel special so much🥰
Han-Han Bui I mean I like positions, not visual, but I like positions. I just feel like it brings a balance
@@thek-nerd3143 agreed 😔 the position "visual" is like telling that one member they're only good cus they're goodlooking and the rest of the members they're not
8:55 Those who thought TXT's cover was better could've commented in TXT's cover video. Something like 'This is the best Replay cover.'
They do not have to comment in ASTRO's cover video things like 'TXT's cover is better.' This is kinda disrespecting ASTRO
*NONE* of the AROHAs went to TXT's cover video and dropped comments like 'I prefer ASTRO's cover over TXT's.
They respect other groups so other fandoms should do the same.
Exactly!
Unpopular K-pop opinion
Shipping other groups with other groups like Bangtan x Blackpink or Itzy x TxT is rude and can make our idols uncomfortable
2nd gen stan: OHMYGOD WHATS THE MOST ICONIC SNSD SONG AND WHAT WAS THE FIRST EVER KPOP SONG, OH AND LIKE WHAT ABOUT-
A stan the literally joined 2 days ago: •▪︎•
well Chile anyways go watch Into the new world and stan the queens-
well go check their discography , thx
@@trystanjosef3304 it- it was a joke wait-
still a peice of garbage I’m CRYING they thought you were being serious sdjdjsjsjdjs
@@kiwii5463 literally nobody don't get the joke.... Chile we were saying her to listen to SNSD-
The only reason why I *dislike* some of the 2nd generation stans, cuz they always have something to complain about 3rd and 4th generations, they're like "4th generation groups are the worst in kpop"
Like sweetie if you don't like them, you can leave, no one is forcing you to listen to them and then hate on them and then praise 2nd generation groups, we all know they're iconic, we don't need to bring one group down to praise another
*Didn't use the world hate cuz it's too big, I prefer disliking stuff*
I'm a kpop fan since 2009 (I'm 20 now), and yeah some of the 2nd gen fans don't know how to evolve, like why can't they support the new gens while doing the same for the 2nd gen idols. I don't find it hard at all to support idols from diff gen.
@@muhammadakmalbinmokhtar6273 *PREACH*
omg that's a senior fan right there, I've actually been a fan since 2015 😅😅😅 quite young, but SNSD, brought me into kpop and I've been a sone and elf and VIP for a year before listening to any other groups.
I seriously love you for saying that, we should love and support every gen of kpop and stop spreading hate
@@justchillin6735 hehe, but we're still a kpop fan no matter what and as a kpop fan, the main priority is SUPPORTING kpop by giving/showing support and love towards every kpop idols there is, not hate (this is what I believe in). Btw, SNSD is the one that brought me into kpop with Gee
Bruh when blinks stream Blackpink other Fandom are like *Blinks have nothing to do but streaming *when they stream there group(let us stream😭😭) like srsly..
the real Lemon , istg people who say that is only jealous because other groups have more views
People are so toxic legit. They complain that blinks stream too much but then also complain when nctzens and reveluvs aren’t that great in streaming
legit blackpink barely has enough music videos, let alone music, so we really don’t have a choice when we get bored 😭
I literally came from a video of Unpopular opinions that say they Yoongi yeah you hear right Suga Min Yoongi that bean was disrespectful because "hE DiNdT cLaP" for a performance when he was literally injured gosh people always finding things to hate just because they are BTS 🤦
That's so stupid
Unpopular opinion : don't attack others for their opinion. Like so what if I like Kim Hongjoong more than Bang Chan or Kim Namjoon. Give me a break.
Completely agree with the last opinion! “Fancy” just fell flat to me. Feel Special” is all kinds of awesomeness!
@@whatsyourname9581Hmm... not just that alone. I mean it sounds better. Just love the tune, the dance, the outfits... it hits the jackpot for me
Unpopular opinion: This is the best „unpopular opinion“ I’ve ever seen and I literally agree with every opinion.
i got scared when txt was in the thumbnail LMAO
This man is just spitting facts THANK YOU FOR SAYING THAT ABOUT NOT GUILT TRIPPING PEOPLE ABOUT STREAMING!!
People hate on bts when we know 50% of the 3rd gen stans wouldn't know their fave opparz without bts
True
If k-pop is global today then BTS is a huge reason behind it
@yea i like kpop, so what? I was talking about bg stans more lmao
2nd gen stans are sooo annoying sometimes when i first got into kpop i watched a bunch of different videos one of them was best rappers of kpop or something like that i went to the comments and vips were so nasty towards the rap line of bts they said only yg rappers are real rappers and bts rappers aren’t even good and far worse stuff i couldn’t believe it
True I love bts rap more than g dragon... But I don't say bad words against g dragon
but 3rd gen fans make 2nd gen fans did that because many of them really like to disrespect the senior , not all of 3rd gen fans but many of them
@@trystanjosef3304 but 2nd generation fans don't respect 1st generation artists...
@@taehyunglong71 who said? you only make things up to make 2nd gen fans look bad , yeah of course there's some people who didn't respect the 1st gen but not as much as 3rd gen fans disrespect the seniors
@@trystanjosef3304 who said? There are some fans who doesn't respect 2nd generation fans but at least they respect artist more than 2nd generation fans....
2nd gen idols deserve respect but (some, not all) stans act as if *they* deserve the respect, not the idols.
Do i have an opinion😣😣nooo its literally a copy of my own opinions😅girl i just respect u and proud that army are more smarter and logical than those who keep hating others group on unpopular opinion video. A total honest and practical person and i love it. Thank u so much fam💜 not only for bts but just in general u were more mature about those opinions
sk doremi , I’m literally going to cry😭thank you
@@LovelySeungyeon u honestly deserve it💜and i did watch a lot of those video😧keep yr hard work u dont have to please people to get more views.
sk doremi , I love editing videos thats why I’m doing this🥰and you just made my day:)
Omg I agree with the first opinion. They act like snsd invented Kpop and harass me
When Wonder girl were more popular than them back then
Well SNSD are one of the groups that made the hallyu wave of really experimental songs so you can't deny their impact. But omg 2ng Gen stans really need to calm down with these stuff
중 문제가 Jennie my life Love u I don’t care if it’s wonder girls or whatever, but like, I didn’t sign up for a history class 2nd gen stans
SuperStar Jennifer Read my comment it pretty much sums it up what we mean by « paved the way »
Julien Chabot okay congrats 2nd gen stans, your groups are sooooo superiorrrrrr to newer groupsssssss yeah totallyyyyyy
*MY UNPOPULAR OPINIONS*
•Even if I don’t like YG sometimes, I will continue buying merch from Blackpink.
•YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STAN MILLIONS OF GROUPS TO BE A “GOOD” KPOP STAN (I only stan Blackpink, BTS, Twice, Itzy, and Red Velvet)
•Zimzalabim was really good and even the clothes were good
•The visual position is insulting to everyone in the group (dismisses talent to the idol and disses the others)
•You stanning second gen groups doesn’t make you special
•Dating bans are actually good (dating can distract idols, but if they can handle it that’s fine. But if they’re old enough and mature, go ahead)
•It’s easier to stan girl groups than boy groups
•Comparing groups in a good way isn’t bad. Groups will ALWAYS be compared. It can get annoying when you compare elder groups like (2ne1 to Blackpink)
•Feel Special will ALWAYS be one of my favorites by them (it makes me cry because of the lyrics)
•Cute concepts are amazing and can be better than mature ones or fierce ones
•YG needs to start helping idols with scandals. Especially when they’re innocent.
Unpopular opinions:
Every freaking company needs professional therapists for idols.
I honestly miss those days in kpop where appreciating the songs regardless of the group are more important than breaking records just to prove something
