Let me start off by saying I'm loving your new profile picture. The peach really compliment your skin tone. I've started doing the $5 & $10 challenge. Every time I get a $5/$10 I put them into separate containers. I started in February & I plan on doing it until August. My $10 container will be applied to my emergency funds & my $5 container is for back-2-school needs. I did end up getting a 2cnd job at Amazon ((sortation warehouse)) to help boost my goal. Being that school is out I've been pulling from my emergency cash envelope bc my grocery bill went up. I think I heard you mention that your emergency funds was around $5,000 & I thought that was amazing. Like I always say, you have inspired me to do better financially & it's nice to have someone around that has such discipline as yourself.

Virginia Remedi Thanks so much!!! yes! We do have our emergency fund at $5,000 and now we are just working on decreasing our credit card debt. So I want to use my extra savings to pay off debt... Your system is a great system!!

I really love your new additions to your channel. Those are all great ways to save $1,000. I decided to save $2.74 per day in order to save $1,000 over a 365 day period. I decided to reduce my coffee size and change to a cheaper kind of coffee.

I save two ways I have it automatically taken out of my paycheck in directly deposit in my savings account and I cannot take it out unless I transfer it to my checking account! Just $25.00 every two weeks it adds up. I recently started saving an extra $100 a month in an 2 liter soda bottle. I took 5 20 dollar bills with a rubber around it and put it in The bottle. The purpose it’s going to take me a minute to try to get it out! This has really helped me save!

I once was a couponer( still am little bit) and I used a couple of apps Ibotta & Checkout 51. They are virtual coupons for products you but in the store and other things. It's pretty easy. You look through the app, find the items your going to use , click on it , shop and scan your receipt and bam 10 cent here 25 cents there . Same till you need or a certain about.

Great video! Ive started so many challenges this year. I'm saving dimes in a 2 liter bottle that should equal from $350 to $450. I'm doing the nickel challenge, the $5,000 challenge and taking full advantage of the perks and bonus money while working during this pandemic. Any extra money received will go to savings. Good luck and happy savings!!
