Just bring back Sizzler as a fast food franchise or something. The appeal of cheesy bread was that it was free with your meal and coffee club is the polar opposite from Sizzler in a branding sense. 1 star is a sizzling burn but still too good for them. How dare they besmirch the Sizzler brand like that?

The proper Sizzler toast actually used Pecorino which has a different taste to parmesan. Easier to make your own than buy this ripoff toast.
Pecorino is $11-12 per triangle an you mix with butter but you can have the whole load....

Sizzler *revealed their recipe* for their cheese toast when they closed here in Oz. Its just equal parts margarine and pecorino cheese (mixed into a paste) spread on one side of thick sliced white bread, pan fried for about 60 seconds on medium heat
Have made it at home with thick cut white bread and that shelf stable "parmesan" mixed with margarine. Tasted almost identical imo. The secret was using the crappy 'cheese' I reckon, cause no way were they using proper pecorino lol.

My parents took me to Sizzler years ago. I don't remember what I had but I was chucking up all night
Go to Thailand for a holiday, there are still dozens of Sizzler restaurants there, it never left worldwide.
Because Collins foods which owned the australian franchises sold the rights to Thailand company Minor International.

In Southbank they have cheese toast at a Fritzenberger It was actually more sizzler toast
its butter and two types of cheeses with a few seasonings apparently you could almost make an entire loaf for the same price

I know the recipe for cheesy toast. Slice of bread, butter or margarine, grated parmesan cheese and toaster oven to grill the cheese on the one sided bread.
I never go coffee club one of my ex gfs use to like it until she got ripped off $20 when they didn't give her correct change back. She complained about it but they said they gave her correct change. This was about 20 yrs ago so that franchise been around for awhile
It's so easy to make nice thick white bread, BUTTER and the dried parmasen in the jar works the best.....oh and fry it in more BUTTER! you should do a video if you try this. I would love to see it.

Most cafe's are greedy pond scum. There's a place called "light house" across the road from my workplace and they charge $10 for a single chocolate coated biscuit, which is about the same size as a tim tam. Absolutely ridiculous with what they think they can get away with.
You could make some great cheese toast in the kitchen. Extra greasy n cheesy. Maybe with some gravy.

Everyone loved the sizzler toast at sizzlers, and it was free and unlimited to fill you up. Cheap and yummy. So you had to have discipline not to eat too much so you could attack the buffet properly. Now some company preys on your sentimental heart strings and charges $5 for a slice that used to be free and taste amazing, but theirs tastes like nothing. Humanity has passed its peak. Take me back to the 90’s and park me there thank you very much. I won’t be along anytime soon.

You can buy what's called cheesy Pan Bread at Woolies and the brand is La Famiglia Kitchen and it's like sizzler toast, but the only downfall is, it does cost around $6 but it's really close to sizzler bread and also, the bread is not toasted on both sides ..that's how it is.
Who the hell are the coffee club and why do they have the rights to the Sizzler toast?
Do it at home, have as much as you want and cook it the way you like it. Coffee Club can stick it.
