Add tomato sauce, mastard on top of 2 pickles to the top of the pie. Sandwich it with a steamed Aldi brioche bun. Probably will go down well after a few % proof beverages ..

Grego I got a pie maker at home and I reckon it be easy to blend up a Maccas cheeseburger, stuff it in the pie and bobs your uncle. i think the people that thought about the ingredients in this one possible overthought it including the taste factor.

I bought some not long ago I thought they were bloody terrible. Going back to the Angus beef, cheese and bacon pies.
I thought those were discontinued......I haven't seen those pies for a couple of years now at my local supermarkets.
Frozen pies cooked in the oven are always better defrosted but stick it in a zip lock bag to defrost with a sprinkle of water. Frozen pies loose a bit of their moisture over time so the pastry can wind up dry.
Just like knowing how to spell it!

The trick with anything "cheeseburger flavour" is dill. DILL GREGG, GET SOME DILL YA DILL 😉 (Tommy sauce and American mild mustard help too)
Dill pickles always take us back to our childhood McDonald's days.

Looks like just a beef and cheese pie mate, wondering if it cost more than the normal one though. Just looked at Woolies site and they are out of stock. The normal beef and cheef is $7.20 though. Coles is $9.00 for the pies, both normal and the cheeseburger.
So small they’re basically party pies by this stage.

I sometimes microwave pies, the way to do it so they don't dry out to crap is stick one in a almost zipped up zip lock bag then nuke em for about 12 to 14 mins at power level 1, different microwaves you have to tweak it a bit.

so it doesn't look like a cheese burger, taste like a cheese burger, not even with ketchup and mustard, the cheese is sour, and the meat is bland, yet at the end.....you recommend. i dont get it

Also,Greg,you need to try this when air frying frozen things like this.
Nuke it for a minute.
Then air fryer for about 10-15 mins on about 160-170c.
It's the only way to go

The ONLY way to make it taste LIKE a cheese burger is to cook a cheese burger patty with cheese & some onions on it, then put it IN a pastry case, with some pickles!

Definitely a lack of quality control with these. Yours had bugger all pickle flavour, yet with the pack we got everything was heavily overpowered by the taste of pickle juice. It was basically a vinegar pie, and completely unappetising. We'll stick with the Red Rooster pies from the freezer section of Coles for now so long as they keep stocking them. It's the only way we can get Red Rooster down in Tassie.

There is a little unknowing history of the four and twenty pies where actually produced in regional Victoria in Bendigo and the whole thing moved out of Bendigo to Melbourne and that's where the four and twenty pies are made in Melbourne
