Yeah sure, "No Controllers Detected" in steam, despite windows device manager showing the Pro Controller connected via Bluetooth. Now that Steam have released their own Steam Controller, support for the Pro Controller seems to have magically broken. Funny that.
Pro controller is connected and detected by steam and my pc. But when I try to turn it on and actually play with it, the leds on the bottom of the controller don't turn on and there's no response from the controller itself.

I know this is late but, I connect my controller to it and its turned on and everything, yet ingame, when ive changed the bindings, the controller wont respond when i press on it but it resaponds to the keyboard presses.
In games, will the Switch buttons and layout be displayed on-screen in tutorials like for Xbox & PS controllers? For example, in MK11, the tutorial will show combos with playstation X, O, square, triangle or with XBOX A,B,X,Y buttons on screen.
So Steam detects my controller but the 'Switch Pro Configuration Support' button isn't there for me to toggle on. Any idea how I can fix this or do I need to contact Steam directly?

You don't fix it. That's literally how it functions on the PC. Most games only support the Xbox controller or something very similar to it so the only way that you can get like Nintendo or PlayStation controllers to work is to have them pretend to be Xbox controllers
I had to use an official Nintendo wire, no other ones worked. If you are using a Nintendo one I don’t know but if you aren’t using one that could be the issue
The controller for whatever reason just doesn't pop up in steam :/, I even have it listed in my windows devices and hear the usb in chime when plugging it in but steam is not picking it up. Any fix?
@@ChupacabraTutorials it’s so strange, probably just gonna end up getting an Xbox controller. Every time I try and use my Switch controller I always have issues. Tried it on my home PC and it works just fine. Thanks for the video anyways!
@@lXxImabeastxXl it's way easier to use on Xbox controller having done this for several years making these tutorials. The Xbox controller just works I've never had to fight with it

Same, but it used to work the other day. Literally yesterday it was working.

my pro controllers inputs are just going nuts (with games external from steam)

My procontroler works for like 1 minute after that steam cant find it while it is still paired on bluetooth what should i do

I have a mouse with right joystick once I open up Fortinte, but that is it. Any suggestions?

ok, i only care because i wanna use the gyroscope on my controller and it wont do that because it thinks its qn xbox controller.

Not sure. I had to plug/unplug mine a couple of times before it would behave itself. Might be something like that.

How to play Xbox games with a pro controller?
If you plug in the Pro Controller to Steam and it shows up. It should let you use the controller for any game that has controller options.
