Sanji is afraid of this because he believes that become "enhanced" like his brothers will make him cold and cruel as them.
An unnecessary fear - since his brothers became ruthless and cruel solely because of the spoiled childhood they led and the values imparted by their father. Sanji was closer to his mother and his values of kindness, decency and courtesy he learned from his mentor, Red-Leg Zeff.
Kind of? Judge literally striped his brothers of their emotions so they can be superhuman. That’s why they are cruel.
Sanji and her sister are the ones who kept them.
Sanji is passionate but his brothers are literally emotionless. That’s the dichotomy.

There are many times when the brothers show emotions, like when the blue one shows anger when Sanji protects the girl chef when he throws the plate of food at her. Or when there seems to be fear from the red one as he is being strangled by katakuri. It's more like the emotions are leveled down and their empathy levels are very low. This does not mean that they do not have emotions, but rather the combination of the extremely bad parenting from Judge and their toned-down emotions makes them seem unemotional. Another example is when the brothers work together to get Sanji out with Pudding, even calling Sanji a failure, but not in the usual condescending way, but rather a love/hate sorta way. The main reason they are like how they are is not their genetics, but Judge's way of parenting and the values he instilled in them.

His fixing himself like that makes the "enhancement" part of the scene more impactful. The amount of damage he took would have killed him, and he didn't feel a thing. No wonder he's freaking out.

I suspect its because of the suit. He might not have ever been allowed to use it as a child because he was viewed as a failure but with the recent uses it stimulated the Germa cells and activated.
He might have lucked out when his family abandoned him so early because now its activating not in a childs body but in a mature, well trained body. Really hoping this makes his enhancements way stronger than his brothers.

Sanjis’ mother’s toil and struggle was worth it. It was a worthwhile sacrifice. Even though Sanji has gained these inhuman enchantments from his birth. He’s still maintained his compassion, kindness, and emotions. Which is what he feared most. Thankfully he realized who he truly is. His morals and life experiences kept him grounded and prevented him from becoming emotionless like his siblings. Plus, his crew are a huge inspiration and source for power and love in his life. In the end, he’s changed but he’s still the same. He’s Sanji, but even better now.
and having lived and grown as a person instead of fighting machine means he's even stronger than his brothers could hope to achieve even with upgrades

What frustrates me the most is how Sanji is actually the strongest and most successful of the brothers yet Judge refuses to aknowledge that.

People have commented on the fact that there's been a power gap between Sanji and Zoro for a while so I'm happy that Sanji got this powerup. Oda would never let there be a huge gap between Zoro and Sanji forever. That would ruin the whole power dynamic between the monster duo that Oda insists on keeping.
I wish this was true but Oda still prefers Zoro when it comes to power. I'm a Sanji fan but Zoro was always more powerful (sadly). Wish they'd be equal though. Zoro is using Haki like a beast, Sanji only here and there.
@@TarikA Yeah, Zoro is somewhat stronger than Sanji, but not by that much. Since the timeskip Zoro fans have said that Sanji's been left in the dust but that isn't how Oda likes to keep it. Oda has stated that he likes to keep it so that in terms of power Sanji will usually be a 9/10 while Zoro and Luffy will usually be comparable as 10/10. So Zoro as a bit stronger than Sanji but not by much.

Yeah I actually wondered how fast they were able to make his suit, and I just settled with the fact that they're just technologically advanced...I never really thought that they may have already made his suit back then and it's specifically for that reason. I mean he may be a failure, but maybe they still have hope in his genes even a little bit...

The suits were likely created by Judge since the quadruplets' birth, and just added the modifications to better suit each sibling later on.
The greatest invention of judge was not the raid suit but the body enhancement.
Germa's greatest invention is Sanji

The very calm "Ouch" after he breaks the sword with his head fucking killed me, both in the sense that it made me laugh and made me emotional. The humor of being so deadpan in that moment after a blow that would have lopped his head off only moments before, and the horrorific realization of what it all means.

It’s more like the philosophy taught to him by his chef dad. Hands are meant for cooking, which is why they both used their feet to fight.

its so clear that sanji have all the important advantages read the following description i will explain why sanji have endurance point and why he have dc because normal fans cant accept it every thing else doesn't need to be explained such as observation speed agility durability stamina and the rest
sanji is more durable its so clear after germa cells so he takes less dmg than zoro so he normally have more endurance + sanji can regenerate Fatal injuries so easily thats first
2-dc sanji literally destroyed the downstairs while. fighting queen unlike zoro he is swords man so his attacks focused at one point
every one was struggling against kaido because his durability
and luffy was struggling against katakuri because of future sight and speed but he won because of his insaaaaaane endurance every single fight in one piece depended on one of these points and sanji have the advantages in all of the 4 points
and sanji have stronger future sight than katakuri and faster than him on outher hand zoro slower than luffy and doesn't even have future sight or strong observation haki
if there is an actual fight it will be long because both of them have insane endurance and sanji will be easily dodging zoro attacks so doesn't matter how strong it is but sanji wont keep dodging forever maybe zoro will be able to attack him while he is attacking but future sight will make it so hard even if zoro landed 3-4 strong attacks at max idk how he will land them but lets imagine he landed them sanji can recover almost any physical damage including internal damage thats why sanji have the advantage on zoro currently
one thing i love, that i feel like not very much people notice, is that zoro always keeps his eye on sanji when they are facing opponents together, and almost instantly he noticed something was off with sanji when they were fighting kind and queen, and that he protected sanji from kings attack because sanji wasnt paying attention

Probably not. According to Oda, Sanji's specialisation is his observation haki, whereas for zoro it's armament haki and for luffy it's conqueror's haki
Still though this does bump his durability up a lot, so I guess it can be seen as making up for his weaker armament haki compared to the others

I understand why Sanji destroyed the Raid suit, to reject the MADs Tech inside of it. However, Sanji proved further he is one of the most heroic of straw hats. Sure other straw hats have done good while having tragic backstories but Sanji's whole backstory is based on him being someone that seeks to serve others and save them from what weighs them down. He yelled at Zoro when he risked his life against Mihawk, he insisted that Kine'mon's pride was self-destructive and would put Momonosuke in danger, and he fought for the rights if the starving.
Oda wants us to see the straw hats reject their super personas because it emphasizes they are heroes on their own without the costume. But even if Usopp isn't wearing Sniperking's mask he is still Sniperking: a hero who saves those he cares about from afar and even up close if the situation is dire. Sanji is a noble gentleman who is the antithesis of Germa 66, Villains of World Government Pop Culture and became essentially a Sixth Ranger as Soba Mask. In the end we don't love these identities because they overwrite the characters, but because they are the characters.
I mean we see tons of Chopperman merch everywhere and really what further proof that a hero isn't his costume is there than a doctor as loving and dedicated as Chopper?

Well sanji is human and with awakened genetics that germa holds in his body, he does get emotional and stuff. But his brothers are robot-human. But rejiu is the first robot-human that is successful bc she has emotional, and awakened from her childhood, and she is perfect robot-human looking. While sanji’s brothers are failures because they don’t have the emotional built in and the only thing they have is awakened genetics.
I wondered ever sunce he broke his leg against Vergo in Punk Hazard and was fine after couple of episodes and didn't need bandages from chopper. So is Sanji as hard as a Pacifista?!

Even at whole cake island when Sanji displayed abilities such as his flame kicks and air walking without evening needing the Vinsmoke suits and saved his crying ass, Judge still called him a failure. I don't think Judge sees Sanji as an actual failure, I think he's just projecting onto Sanji as he see's himself as a failure for failing to take back the North Blue.

I think Nami being able to terrify the other strawhats abd even beat up luffy isnt just for the laughs but is due to the Nika fruit. Luffy believes Nami can get terrifying and can hurt him so she can.

What i like about this powerup is that sanji who is known for his speed in the shp, can now tank damage as much, or even more than zoro thanks to the enhancement

Zoro has stronger attacks, but sanji is way faster and durable now. I would definitely say they are pretty equal rn

Wait.For my reasons i have left One Piece anime someway in the middle of Wano Act 3 but i've read all the Wano arc in manga.Did they show Queen's Snake Brachius which was what cause some of Sanji's bones to break , or not?
