according to the "making of -- " video, there actually was no use of CGI at all and the paint used was environmental friendly. The locals even enjoyed watching the filming of this ad.

Yea this was real, it was filmed in Glasgow. I watched it being filmed and I can can honestly tell you, it was class! Btw they didn't clean up because that whole area was demolished pretty much after they finished filming.
i don't think one would switch the channel with such impressive and dynamic motions. it grabs your attention first and i feel that it is a good tactic.

What you are saying is true - the building was demolished. But bear in mind that paint leaves splashes, and they have to be cleaned. Hence the 60 people and five days. I saw it on an E4 documentary on adverts.
@alfredoseow These buildings were on Glasgow, Scotland. They were ordered for demolition so they used these building so they wouldn't have to clean up afterwords. They were then demolished.
for those of you who are wodering this is 100% real no computer animation used coz it happened when i was walking down the road going to asda ... not a lot of people know how weird it is to see a building blow up in colour while going to buy some sweets
As for the clown part, this is why they did it: The clown represents the child in this ad, he is painted in his face, he loves all the colours, and you see him running screaming something, just before the music gets really loud and more colours start exploding. The clown is a symbol of freedom, colours, childish behaviour and fun. The ad is 100% real, no computer technology used. Sony, if you care about quality.
@SolaireYT understood, but saying "a bit of touching up" is a disservice to the effects company. They graded and colour corrected yes, but they also had to "remove" traces of the physical shoot such as the barrels etc used for the fireworks and certain other objects also. That is a very big job to do especially with paint going everywhere , its no cut and paste that's for sure. but yes on the paint you are correct that was real... and messy :-)

And I'm sure my managers would be very unhappy that some people have the view that by building decent homes to rehouse people who had been in failing accommodation we were contributing to the "gentrification" of the country. its real, building were scheduled to be demolished, its an area called toryglen in Glasgow up in scotland. the place was drenched in paint as u can imagine lol all paint was non toxic so it didnt harm anythin, was pretty cool
yeah dude i got a 46er its so nice, go online and look at the tweak guides because the out of the box picture isn't that great. but if you tweak it, it's aamzing.
this is the best sony bravia advert, im not sure about the rabbit one. i think the music goes so well and if you look closely you can see that they did it all in obe sequence which is even more amazing. it took tham six days to clean all the paint. i wouldnt it gives the place originality lol
the best thing about the bouncy balls is the song.. i think.. the name is heartbeats by the way..and the guy that sings is gonzales.. but i'm not so sure..
