@@emmynokaneng2683 I play their music daily. It never gets old!! 😎👍 I pray that Mildred Mangxol stays with us all a little while longer. She retired from the group several years ago due to health problems, however Hilda Tloubatla is still active with the group
I have been following the Mahotella Queens from the 60's. Nobesuthu Gertrude Mbadu Shawe was an inspiration for many. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
Rest in Christ Nobesuthu Mbadu ❤️🇿🇦 you gave us your all we love you. Thank you for the global music🎶🎵n dance moves 💃💃💃🕺 you the Queen's n Mahlathini gave us 🔥🔥🔥💙🇿🇦🤗
this is top drawer stuff, one of the best groups in SA. it was actually a three in one combo of big names coming together to form a super group. Simon "Mahlathini" Nkabinde, the Mahotella Queens and the Makgona Tsotlhe Band. Long live .....
Mahlatini had passed but I saw those 3 tremendous ladies perform in North London (UK). What an astonishingly professional performance. I stood there and thought...despite a truly staggering performance...they will get home with GBP0! Sounds like my perception was correct.
I love how many people said "I don't know what they're saying..but this is my favourite song." SAME!!! This song is a BOP!!! I hope someone translates in the comments for us who are here on pure vibes and spirit.
It's so much pleasing to see that the great music of mahlathini and mahhotela queens was preserved. It brings back memories of the good old days of UBUNTU.
The first time I got to know the Mahlathini and the Mahotella Queens was during Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium Lodon in 1988. The song I like most is Melodi ya lla
Putting so much love effort then can’t be paid good money your family is suffering as these guys left nothing they have zero in their accounts they have no houses now check out and let me know we watching this?? Our heroes, zahara same position what’s wrong black on black hate Xhosa Zulu we suffer
Why Sony robbed these perfect Africans? They entertain Africans like jay z, we paid in battery radios pp10. These are our heroes!! They all died poor where is all the money?
This is one of the group worthy to be recognised in Southern Africa.

Love the first track!
Muy lindas las voces
As a young person born in the late 90’s I can’t help but feel like I should’ve been born earlier and get to witness this live
And it was very affordable to watch Baba Mahlatini live,,, 20 cents . Early 1970's in Swaziland Manzini .
