Im also having a blast with solo Ceasar she is so fun, and your build is similar to mine, almost same stats except that Im using her signature instead of steel cushion, it works fine since it has a huge base attk stat. Hey small tip: you should cancel her last hit of her combo where she smashes her shield on the ground, cancel with her dash or with her special if you have no energy, since her shield smash has a lot of end lag. That being said, your parries were on point! Impressive.

Yeah, you just don't get the bonus effects. But Main and advanced stats still apply. I run the Cannon Rotor for my DPS Ceasar (Basically the same as Steel Cushion but weaker cuz A Rank)

ceasar would definately keep a team secured without worrying of getting hit. but for characters like jane that dodges enemies no matter what they do isnt needed.
Perhaps the best part of Ambush Nodes is that you don't have to worry about any time limit or timebased score. You can just play patiently and carefully against sturdy and hard hitting opponents.
Is Caesar worth it? I could get her without spending money but if I loose the 50/50 then I will need to buy polychromes, which I was planning to save for burnice. What would you recommend here?
Depends on your roster. Do you have Jane ? If so, get Burnice or even wait for Yanagi leaks. Caesar indeed makes the game easier but you can just learn boss attack patterns. And if you pull for waifu, why are you even asking ? Just pull whoever you like.

I do like to pull for wifey but I’d also like to be able to clear endgame content in the future. Caesar is the first limited character that I don’t really see as a necessity for the way I play. Ellen, zhu, qingyi and Jane all bring a major boost to my teams, but I can’t see Caesar fitting in anywhere. Maybe with Jane but Jane doesn’t need that much shield anyways. Ellen would benefit more from soukaku and zhu would do better with Nicole IMO. So with my terrible luck with the 50/50s, I think I’ll focus on burnice. I’ll pull some pity for Caesar. If I get her then that’s great. If I don’t then atleast I have a guaranteed burnice
I pulled for that 1,000ATK buff when shielded, mainly. It’s nice to be invincible for a little while, but dodging and parrying is so smooth that it isn’t a big deal. But I’m also determined to just collect every character at this point so I can see her being an easy skip if you want to lean more into Anomaly with Burnice.
hilarous how people say you instantly turn the game easy mode with caesar, you still need to parry, and the shield still gets eaten by 2-3 attacks if youre not careful. its just adda an extra comfort for rougher fights
Parrying/dashing is not that hard in this game, I like playing Ben because parrying is so damn easy in this game, the game basically holds your hand with those yellow/red flashes. You can put a Ben/Ceasar inside a mob of Dullahans/Farbautis/Armored Hatis and they can parry the HP down of said mob without losing a single HP. Parries are nastier against bosses as a lot of them will get their chain attacks cancelled if you parry with an EX. Honestly the hardest part of parrying in this game is remembering all DPS characters are screen hungry and not switching to them after transfering buffs.
2-3 attacks tank is more than enough to do full combo dmg especially in a team like Ellen as main dps. Caesar definitely made the game easier with her op shield and buff. That been said, you are dumb if you think by having caesar = you wont have to do anything. No, you still need to properly combo but just a lot more comfortable without dealing with all those spam attacks from enemies to a point you suffer a loss in dps.
There's a lot of holes in your egomaxxing attempt. If you want a difficult game go play Sekiro or Elden Ring. Of course a gacha game that wants to attract as many people is going to be relatively accessible in terms of difficulty. @yoshineitor
It is possible yes, Im doing that. Built her with crit rate/crit dmg/attk paired her with Lucy and Rina, and she slaps actually, she doesnt clear as fast as S-rank dps's, but she gets the job done, similar to a A-rank DPS, with the added benefit that You don't have to retry or fail a single time in any Challenge or shiyu nodes, not Even the ambush and dispute, she just doesnt die, while My Main DPS teams with Zhu Yuan and Jane I actually retry a lot but clear faster when I succed. Of course I also have Ceasar with a support built focusing on impact. But I find the DPS one more fun
She’s my main on fielder for Caesar Nicole ZY. For discs 4 5 6 I went with Crit rate, phys dmg bonus%, impact% C6 Nicole is a blessing for Caesar and ZY with her crit rate buff. While Caesar buffs the crap out of herself and ZY.
She really has some really awesome animations, and her kit is so good. I just hate her design, so i skipped. Hope we get another character that has parry as a main part of their kit because it really is satisfying.

No the enemies in the new ambush node just hit very hard, much harder then the ones in critical node. This is likely done to promote caesar but also there is no time limit, so skill performance is much more important then killing fast. Also the caesar in this video uses atk disk 6 instead of impact. shield is scaled from impact.
😬 Obviously some of you have been scarred before from previous gachas not of this gameplay genre. It just takes removing the rng scaled aspects like the disks and just setting everyone to max. Just select any of the hero roster. The shadow enemies made me imagine being able to battle against your friends PvP style, in the same way you connect for the arcade game. Mostly just local battling for fun, metas don’t really matter at that scale. It almost seems like they kinda are setting up for it.
I think we are going to see some huge HP spikes for Shiyu soon. We have caught up to level 60 as players, and our new units are really strong, so I suspect they will try to curve this with harder challenges in Shiyu. At least I hope so, I don't really like that Shiyu 7 can be completed with a poorly invested jane solo rn.
Wdym, literally any anomaly in this game can do damage with low to mid investment idk why complain about jane when it's the role that's too easy to invest in. It's like superbreak vs crit dps in hsr.

You aren't taking a team of only two characters at level 70 with barely leveled artifacts and clearing MOC 12. Maybe it's just the current shitu buff, but I was able to solo with Jane at level 50 on the second half. I think it's a little much

I think Jane is going to be considered strong at mid investment for a long time. At least until we run into a double physical resist Shiyu.
