I took Grand Vitara (strong hybrid) only because there was no sign of hyryder after 7 months of booking. Maruti is not yet equipped to deal with hybrids, there have been stories of service centres failing to deal with issues faced with hybrid Grand Vitara (go through team bhp and also have heard from close friends). It will take time for them to get some experience with these systems, trainings can only teach so much. Toyota on the other hand has experience dealing with hybrids since a long time. So the toyota engineering with Maruti’s service network to be frank is technically good only on paper at least for now.

Lookwise Invicto looks better than hycross IRL.. But Innova and Crysta are better than Hycross/Invicta in most of the parameters. Hycross scores in comfort for the passanger.
