.awesome flight brother,,its just the video is a bit glitchy..😁
I run the same props on my discovery and it works like a charm lot better performance and I also run it on 7500 4S lithium ion and it's actually not bad time on that also the battery almost weighs the same as the 3s 5000
awesome, i was actually thinking of building a lithium ion battery specifically for it as my next project on it.. I do have a 10000mah li ion 4s which only has a 20c rating. so i'm not sure if i want to try that or not.. i was not sure whether to go 3s or 4s originally but i stuck with 3s as it seemed to have plenty of power.
High Robert, how heavy is your hexacopter? Can you also cite the current value while in hover?
I have an S500 quadcopter of similar configuration, but I get lower flight times. My craft weights 1400 g, but if your bird is only a little bit heavier, six props are more economical than four.
I changed the 1045 props to 1170, this gave me 8,5% less current, that is, 8,5% more flight time; theoretically I should have got 10% more flight time. I tried with 12 inch props for even more flight time, but it not worked; I think because of low quality props.
Pretty good flight time! I've been wanting to build one of this since i was a kid. Now I'm finally able to build one! My current setup is a quadcopter with 2216 800kv sunnysky motors. Flight time was great, about 15 mins hover with 4s 6000mah battery. My all up weight was 1.8kg. I was planning to convert it into a hexacopter. These days the F550 frame are super cheap. May i know what's your all up weight? Also have those ESCs or motor ever gave up on you? Thanks!
They are still a good build o do cheap. My will be used for dropping fish bait eventually. All up weight with 7500mah 3s batt is 1715g and so far the escs have not failed as with the motors.
Wow, your hexacopter is a lot lighter than my quad despite carrying a bigger battery. Well, i kinda know that mine is overloaded but didn't expect this much. Could you link me to the ESC and motor you bought? Thanks@@stonesrcchannel
@@mdsysltd5573 HW30A Brushless ESC.from Banggood and the motors were Phantom 3 motors I also bought from Banggood. Not sure if they still sell them now.
Thank you so much man. Looking forward to your bait drone video, if you decided to make one. i'd love to see the progress on it. Have a nice day!@@stonesrcchannel
علت استفاده این ملخ ها چی هست؟
Many reasons, to keep construction and building skills good plus these types of craft are cheap to do and with the right setup and equipment can be used for fishing etc there are many reasons you just need to be constructive.
flight distande?
would please share the PID values to me, thank you!!
My PID values may not suit your craft depending upon what size battery, props and overall weight compared to mine. I got mine through autotuning the pitch, roll and yaw axis all done individually. I would suggest do it that way because I wouldn’t like to give you my values and hear they didn’t suit your craft causing it to be uncontrollable and crash. Just my take. I am happy to help assist you though feel free to ask.
Why would someone build this kind of drone in 2022?
Is there ane special purpose? Like mapping or something?
No just for fun it’s a good way to use spare parts… you wouldn’t bother for mapping or cinematography lol
@@stonesrcchannel sounds fun..😁
@@serang the frame is cheap to buy and with some left over spares it’s makes a nice cheap craft to fly. Plus I have always wanted to build a hexacopter.
For fun. For learning. To have a platform for experiments.
I built an S500 quadcopter, I can drop 500 g bombs (actually a Coke bottle filled with gravel) with high precision.
@UjlakiLaszlo and that's why you build them in 2023 😅
