Great Job Matt, I didn't like St. Elmo's Fire cuz cuz I thought it was Poorly Written, Unlikable Characters, & I didn't think it was that funny or compelling, but I thought Emilio Estevez, Andie McDowell, Rob Lowe, & Demi Moore did a Good Job though, but Forgettable Film IMO, RIP Joel Shumacher you will Always Remembered, you will Never Be Forgotten, & your in a Much Better Place, very Underrated Director & didn't deserve the hate for Batman & Robin, you directed alot of Good Movies IMO that I Liked & Enjoyed Phone Booth, Tigerland, The Lost Boys, A Time To Kill, Blood Creek, Falling Down, D. C. Cab, Trespass 2011, Batman Forever, & 8 Millimeter
I Love Joel Schumacher he was 1 of my Favorite Directors, I Love D. C. Cab, Lost Boys, Falling Down, Batman Forever, Phone Booth, The Number 23, Blood Creek, & Trespass 2011 are my Favorites & His Bests IMO, I Like A Time To Kill 1996, 8 Millimeter, Flawless, Tigerland, & Bad Company 2002 are Ok but there my Least favorites of his, His Bad Movies IMO that I Dislike are Sparkle, St. Elmo’s Fire, Cousins, Dying Young, Batman & Robin, & Phantom Of The Opera
Yeah, the song Man In Motion from the soundtrack is a lot better than this movie. The tone is all over the place, and the script is not that great and has a lot of weird or bad arcs for the characters. It's not completely terrible though. The cast is good and does a good job playing the roles they were asked to play and Schumacher's direction is really good. But it's a film that is really let down by the quality of the script.
1:41 Agreed bro to me the film isn't badly made or acted by the cast I just feel it's very overrated at times I would put both"The Breakfest Club"&"About Last Night" above this film but that's just me. 2:42 Exactly John Bender FTW!! 4:56 Correct LOL. 8:03 He also likes to trash"Judgement Night" as well he's great in those films his characters are way more likeable in both films more then his character in this film IMHO. 12:03 Well put Matt🤣🤣 14:42 I feel Joel Schumacher did a better with"D..C. Cab" when it comes on dealing with a ensemble of characters a lot better with the cast in that undderated comedy to me. This is a pretty funny as F--k review bro to hear you knock this film down a peg or 2👍🤣👍🤣👍🤣

Eh it’s pretty damn terrible. It’s an awful 80s film
I love the song by John Parr but I've never seen the movie
The Song is Way Better than the Movie Facts, I Love St. Elmo's Fire Song that's 1 of my favorite songs
Awesome main theme song. great cast. but a awfully cynical as shit dark 80's drama. the film is just not good.
