    A superb in depth review! Im considering this tablet for 3D sculpting and so far none of the honest reviews had any serious cons against this tablet.
    I think Your review has finally won me over. I hope the driver and the built quality will stand the test of time!

    This looks really promising. I wonder how this stacks up to Kamvas 22 Plus.

    I switched to this tablet for my daily design work. I was originally using a 24 HD Cintiq, but it was old, HEAVY and bulky. for a fraction of the price, this tablet is fantastic. I tried a Huion first, but the driver caused terrible lag for me. I also tested the 22 inch Cintiq, but the tablet was unnecessarily heavy, the screen was muddy and sort of yellow. I hope they add more options to their drivers. I'd love to see customizable on-screen menus. The AC-19 shortcut device needs some help... it feels cheap and the driver forgets it's custom settings at times.

      The drawing experience is really good which is the most important part.

    • @CreateNowSleepLater

      That will likely be awhile yet. Both just jumped to QHD in the 24” ( I reviewed both here). Even Wacom went back and started releasing 1080p devices again. They replaced the 16” pro and their replacement for the 22hd was 1080p.

    Now if my secondary monitor would just break down so I could have an excuse to buy a pen screen.

    Can it take lighter brush strokes? Like literally just gliding the pen without pressure??

  • @elsicongru7400
    @elsicongru7400 3 года назад +1

    Hey, great review! Can I ask you a couple questions on the tablet?
    How's the initial activation force? Do lines come from really light strokes?
    Also, I watched another review and they had weird breaks when using tilt and drawing a circle. The review was Teoh's. Have you experienced that?

    • @CreateNowSleepLater
      @CreateNowSleepLater  3 года назад +1

      Mmm, no issue on the tilt for me. I adjust the pressure curve a bit for the lighter end. It’s pretty good in the light end. That’s why I do that line squiggly line so you can see how the light end looks compared to hard and medium.

    And finally I'm here too Thanks for the video. Now can't to choose between x-pen 4k 16" and huion 24" 2k, or porbabaly better to choose Apple iPad Air (2022) . 🙃🙈I would choose Wacom, but havne't necessary budget. Basically gonna use for for 2d art and some 2d animation

    • @CreateNowSleepLater
      @CreateNowSleepLater  6 месяцев назад +1

      Budget? The iPad will give you a lot of flexibility. Those are very different sized between the 16" and the 24". If you are choosing the iPad, that kind of makes you an iPad artist. (Not that its bad). A 24" tablet is a huge amount of space. Very different use cases.

    Really a good review. Been looking around for a new tablet and i've added this one to my list. Still really doubting between the XP-PEN Artist 22R Pro, This Artist 22 2nd Gen. and the Huion Kamvas Pro 22 2019...
    Mostly going to make 3D model (characters, assets etc. ) on it.

    • @CreateNowSleepLater

    This tablet is perfect, but the 1080p was the deal breaker, I guess I have to wait until they released another one of this but with a 2k :((

    • @CreateNowSleepLater
      @CreateNowSleepLater  3 года назад +4

      You might be waiting awhile. No one, not even Wacom offers anything higher than 1080p in a 22”. That’s why I can’t take points off for it, especially this being targeted towards the budget market.

    • @ohshiet6726
      @ohshiet6726 3 года назад

      In addition, I would like any 16 inch display with a higher resolution
      BUT....
      If they upgraded the screen(on any size on that occasion), the price will shoot up really high. Look at the Huion Kamvas Pro 24 and XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro.

    • @CreateNowSleepLater
      @CreateNowSleepLater  3 года назад

      @@ohshiet6726 Right, the LCD panels cost more. Actually, now that Wacom retired the 16" Pro. I think the only displays on the market that are > 1080P are the 24 inches from Huion, XP-Pen and Wacom.

    • @tggorudon2551
      @tggorudon2551 3 года назад

      @@ohshiet6726 does higher resolution on a 16 inch matter? I think 1080p is enough don't you think? Anthing higher than that in my opinion is obsolete but I may be wrong correct me if you must. Higher resolution can also consume more power so if in the future XP Pen ever decides to include single cable usb c expect lag if resolution is higher, since power alone from a laptop wouldn't be enough.

    • @CreateNowSleepLater
      @CreateNowSleepLater  3 года назад

      It’s still increases poi which is always good. Either way, it doesn’t matter until someone sees value in doing it.

    I had this model for 2 years, and shortly after the warranty passed, it completely died on me. I contacted XP-Pen, and they weren't much help. Only thing they did was offer a discount for another model. :-/

    • @CreateNowSleepLater
      @CreateNowSleepLater  11 месяцев назад

      Thats terrible but no uncommon. Wacom has a similar warranty and reddit is full of people with similar complaints. This is a problem for any display sadly. Its one of the reasons I never got a Mobile Studio Pro from Wacom. Those things are destined to die. Dependability in electronics is more luck than anything else. Did you end up replacing it?

    Is the 1080p resolution a bother at this size?

    • @CreateNowSleepLater
      @CreateNowSleepLater  3 года назад +1

      This is what I would say. If 22" is the size you want, there is no one who makes anything higher than 1080p. You have to move up to the 24" displays or go smaller to get a better PPI. Since this is aimed at the budget class, I say yes. There is no substitute for screen real estate.

  • @tggorudon2551
    @tggorudon2551 3 года назад

    Only 1080p though in a 20+ inch? don't that just distract you since most of the time you are able to see the pixels in a 20 inch let alone you are drawing directly at it closing the gap between your face & the screen tablet? are the pixels there?

    • @CreateNowSleepLater
      @CreateNowSleepLater  3 года назад +1

      I suppose I’m used to it. The only time you move up in Rez is the 24”.

    Hey, I was wondering if you ever tested Huion devices and if so can you say something in how they compare in color accuracy / color display? What was your impression for this one?
