I can't really articulate what it is but something about their business practices and principles just makes me want to root for them. I want to support their business.

I use their chrome 1/2 inch drive 12 points and large wrenches everyday. Everything I've purchased has performed better than I expected. I'm a diesel tech on vocational trucks and heavy equipment. They get abused. Thanks for the vid, these help me decide on future purchases.

I work in the pipe trades. I outfitted my work truck with primarily tekton tools and have been thoroughly impressed. They have easily become my go to brand.

I got them deadblows. Really nice pieces. I bought the 3 prybar set, MADE IN THE USA. The screwdrivers from them, made in the US, most of their pliers, made in the US. I really like this company. I'm going to be purchasing more of their stuff. I'll buy Tekton before I buy anymore ICON from Harbor Freight. Comparable prices, better stuff.

Was very happy to discover Tekton. I work at a motorcycle dealership and we have a Matco Tool guy come by every week (he's bought a bike from us at least) and while I would love to buy from him (Has a beautiful Series 4 box in grey, black, and orange), seeing as I'm in sales and just need tools for home use, couldn't justify it. The 10% back is awesome and having watched reviews I'm looking forward to putting them to use on my 1990 E350 when the time comes.

So far we are very happy with TEKTON. Their customer service, selection, price, and most importantly their quality seems like a great value.
Thanks the comment and for watching. Good luck on that E350!

Walker, I don’t get to read of many professional mechanics using Tekton tools on a daily basis. I’m more a DIYer and part time mechanic. I’d accept your take on Tekton tools as a testimonial. Tekton doesn’t try to be a competitor to the tool trucks like another store we’re all familiar with. It seems Tekton just tries to make the best tools it can.

I enjoyed your walk-through... Instead of me (and everyone else) having to hunt for part numbers on line to find the corresponding sets, it would be helpful if you were to basically provide an itemized list of the tools you purchased in the video description above.
I think you did a great job... I would like to have their website on one monitor viewing the details of each item, as you are giving your overview on my other monitor. Just my opinion.

The no-skip thing is nice. I don't care if there are sizes that are basically unicorns. Sure as heck, some company used that size on something. The wrenches can be gotten in those plastic holders or tool rolls at the same price.

They have good tools, I have a few. I wish their screwdrivers were nicer, similar to Wiha.

I absolutely love their hard-handled screwdrivers. The full set was $75, they're a square grip like some of the old-school Snap-Ons, and they just feel good in the hand. I'm finishing my A&P certification and I'm always geeking out about them in front of the other students. I may eventually buy some of the Snap-Ons since it was handling one of them, owned by an A&P IA that I know and greatly admire, that turned me onto that style in the first place. But for now the Tektons are fantastic.

10:30 - The dual size sockets..? 7/8" and 22mm are not the same. That's a good way to round of bolt heads if that's what you're into.

Same thing as a socket for changing tires, a different size on each end with the drive size in the middle

I have some Tekton tools. Not great but not bad either. I think of them as the Ford/Chevrolet of tools. Maybe a step or two down from Gearwrench IMHO. I've got their impact sockets and combination wrenches. And I've got Gearwrench ratcheting wrenches that in my opinion are just as good and a better value than Snappy ratcheting wrenches. Decent quality. I decided to get a flex head 3/8" ratchet. The head moves around way too much sometimes so it can be a pain. I'll stick with Snap-On there. I got the 90 tooth ratchets. Bought some hammers and wasn't impressed. Look & feel cheap. Again, I'll stick with my Snap-On stuff in that dept as well. As an HD master tech a lot of my stuff is Snap-On so I'm kinda spoiled. Expensive? Oh yea. Worth the money? No doubt. Again, just my opinion. I can totally understand why as a tech school program you buy tools like this. Decent quality at an affordable price. Too bad so many of the tools are made in Taiwan. They claim to be a US company yet 75% of their tools come from a foreign country. I just don't understand why we as Americans just can't make it happen here. I'll keep using the wrenches and impacts but that's about all I'm impressed with. Good luck with your tool haul.

They are from Grand Rapids. A lot of their tools, in particular their screwdrivers and many of their pliers are made in USA.
