Three armed swim 🏊!! 😂 This was awesome! We’ll be trying g it with a trail run ☠️😜. Oh.. n happy new year GTN crew 🎉!! Wish y’all the best in 2023. Here’s to more awesome vids 🥂.
Myself and Gary are the current 12 and 24 hour record holders, and can absolutely confirm that 3-legged running isn’t easy, but loads of fun. Nice work Heather, Mark and James
Just checking if anyone else has noticed the counting error. Strapping another person to the chain only adds 1 leg (and I am fairly confident 3 + 1 does not equal 5). This makes it a four legged mile and you would probably be up against dogs or horses. Get ready to run a sub 2 minute mile 😁
Guinness just rejected my request to challenge ‘longest scarf knitted while running a marathon’ I’m planning to reapply though! Think it was just a clerical error. Would be glad to compete against a GTN host if you have any knitters on the team!
this was very entertaining to watch. Perhaps a few ballroom lessons prior to a second attempt? Clearly all 3 presenters are extremely talented runners/athletes. A little help learning to move with another person will probably take you over the finish line. Learning to move with power and control while remaining in contact with another person often takes a lot of practice. Standard dances like quickstep, tango, waltz, foxtrot, etc are done with body contact.
Heather Twisted? No. Nice try. I think with practice you guys could do it. Happy New Year to the GTN crew. Heres to a great year. Stay healthy and safe to all.
This was a scouts sports day staple in the 70s. And I know this because me and my scout mate Johnny Stubbs won it a couple of times. And we beat the grown-ups !
harry Hillman Lawson Robertson 11.0 100 yards 1909. Todays sprinters could beat that. Hillman’s feat came out of a military regimen and team-building program that also included various relays and handicap starts.
Would it be within the rules to put your arms over each other's shoulders but still have them bound together, say around the biceps? I mean as long as the arms were within 20cm that should still be OK right? And I think there's a lot to be said for picking a partner with the same stride length/ rate (not necessarily leg length) although that's harder to measure of course...
Is there a category for fastest mile carrying a sack of potatoes or something? I suspect a strong person who could run 7 or 8 minutes would take that :-)
I’m very skilled at this.. the key is counting 1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2, out loud… Last time I did this… I was winning.. my partner and I had practiced for 20 minutes before the race… we were out in first.. massive head start… 20 feet from the finish line for no reason this kid tied to my leg decides to collapse… I distinctly remember dragging his limp body across the finish line.. it was only 20’ so I don’t understand why he collapsed… if it happened again.. I’d probably still drag the little mafk across the line for the win….and all the parents being upset at me… would still Be worth it
Is there another record we should attempt? Let us know 👇

Try a 3-person, 4-legged race

Fastest swim, bike, run holding an egg in a spoon. Pretty sure you would be setting the benchmark.
Exactly what I thought. Perhaps the fastest 3 legged mile by RUclips presenters is worth looking for.

I hadn't noticed. My pedantry has failed!

Thanks for a fun video and otherwise always great and entertaining content. Happy New Year to all in front and behind the scene at GTN🎆
Thanks - you too! 👍

That's an impressive time either way

I'm surprised you didn't try the "naruto run" with arms straight back to get them out of the way and reduce wobbling
loved it! you rock!!
Omg this was so cute and fun!!!
try 'Wife Carrying', less co-ordination required

11:22 How about the mile in New Rock boots? :-)
When I run its always a 3 legged mile
Probably harder because of the difference in height.
The 3 legged marathon is just under 4 hours or approx 9min/mile, you all should give that a try :)

Y4s 2022 we can so are 2023🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
3 people would be a 4 legged race, not 5 lol where are you getting the extra leg from
it’s in their pants
