@nikkib78 I'm bloody glad we haven't got the dp anymore. It obviously doesn't deter criminals from commuting these atrocious acts. Look at the very few countries who still carry out the dp. There are only 54 countries who still practise it while 108 abolished it years ago. The most disgusting crimes and mu*#ders actually occur in those countries with the dp. But that's just my own personal opinion. I would hate to go backwards like China, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, United States etc ...
Although that has happened before, failed executions happened at the beginning of the lethal injection era. It's a pretty simple process that every nurse is trained to do in order to administer medication to patients, this medication just happens to be lethal. They're not experimenting with any new chemicals, so I can't think of any way for it to fail, however, that's usually what is said before something failes, so who knows. It's always going to be a possibility I suppose.

Its understandable for protest to be heard and see the inclined way to learn why.
