    This helped me sooo much with positioning and fingering (Just a note, I thiiink in the string intro it actually ends with F - G - E rather than E - G - E. It's a nice touch)
    Thanks for the great vid!

    Awesome as always brother 🙂🙂🙂
    Your videos are seriously inspiring 💯
    Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world 🙏🙏🙏
    Anytime I watch either guitar or Bass instructional videos I always watch the video upside down it gives me a greater sense of what the player is actually doing because I'm seeing it from my perspective (the player) rather than only a viewers perspective

    Great lesson sir. But you said in the beginning that both "Kuru" and "Speak Like A Child" are Herbie Hancock compositions. That's wrong. JACO wrote "Kuru" and arranged it to be combined with Herbie's "Speak Like A Child". In other words a combined effort by the two masters on this immaculate tune.

    How do you get your tone so punchy but still clear on the upper register stuff? Great sound. Quick rig rundown? As always great stuff man.

  • @gregtheos9309
    @gregtheos9309 4 года назад +1

    Anthony, nice chops. But why aren’t you playing starting on the open a or A on the E then pentatonic starting with the second finger on the C of the E strings. A lot less movement that way. Seems much more efficient. This fingering requires only one change of position.

    • @AnthonyMuthurajah

      Glad you like the lesson! And yes it's a classic vibe squier j bass. Changed the bridge to a original badass bridge and everything else on it is stock :)

    why not play the A on the 5th fret and the C on the 8th fret? that way you dont have to do the awkward stretch with your middle and first finger and its easier to move up and down the fretboard since you dont need the open string..

    • @almendratlilkouatl
      @almendratlilkouatl 4 года назад

      because of tone and articulation, the open string sounds different

    Vous faites des erreurs, mais vous ne refaites pas la vidéo???!!! Néanmoins Merci pour l'exemple. La prochaine fois essayé de faire des vidéos sans erreur...

    • @MrChangeTout

      Je trouve que pour une vidéo qui n'est pas coupée toutes les 20 secondes, qui plus est d'un joueur d'un tel niveau, on peut pardonner quelques erreurs. Une critique constructive pourrait être de dire quelles sont les erreurs dont tu parles. Peut être que je ne suis pas très exigeant, mais je pense qu'une personne exigeante fera la transcription de ce morceau par elle même.
